Having had my car written off nearly 6 years ago (2019) - through no fault of my own - I was stationary at the time, I was almost giving up hope of having any recompense from the other driver. My own insurance paid up very quickly, thankfully, but didn't cover all the extras eg, excess, car hire, increase in policy etc so I was still out of pocket by a considerable amount.
Christina at Harper Macleod stuck with it and I've now had payment from the other insurer which covers most of my extra expenses.
