Sadly I don’t appear to be able to upload photos, however the packaging I received my arch in was rubble sacks with zip ties at the end!!! When my arch arrived damaged they said ‘The condition in which the goods have arrived and the lack of protective packaging are not up to our standards, and will be investigated further.’ Well the next arch arrived the same, but with a bit of ‘fragile’ tape attached to it.
Thankfully the arch is not damaged, but at £250 plus, it’s terrible service.

I ordered an expensive item from Harrod Horticultural. One parcel was delivered but it turns out there should have been two parcels. When, some time later, I realised the second parcel had not arrived they refused to send me the products that I had never received AWFUL SERVICE - AVOID THEM

My first order was really quick and efficient although removing plastic film from both sides of corrugated steel was ridiculous.
I placed a further order a week ago but I've heard nothing even after emailing. It's a bit disappointing and considering cancelling as it hasn't been dispatched in the stated 3-5 working days
Harrod Horticultural kept me up-to-date throughout the process of my order, and the delivery was quick.
There was a slight problem with a missing part, which they rectified immediately.
The products that I ordered are of good quality and i look forward to using them in the Spring.
I have just bought a couple of plant supports from Harrod Horticultural & I am delighted with both the product & the service.
Having placed the order the notification stated that they would be delivered whilst I was on holiday.
The Harrod team very quickly responded to concerns & immediately sent the order to overcome the problem.

I bought some stainless steel hoops and mounting spikes last week. They arrived yesterday and the finishing was terrible. It was difficult to tell if they were galvanised or stainless steel. There were patches of rust on them. Very shoddy

Bought a soaker hose kit that claimed to work off water butt pressure. Turns out it did not. When I contacted customer support they informed me it needed a minimum of 3psi water pressure, which is definitely higher than you will get off a typical water butt! So, they are advertising a product that they know is not fit for purpose.
What is more, they then refused to issue a refund because I had cut the soaker hose to length and it was "not faulty". Quite how they expected me to determine that it wouldn't work at water butt pressure without actually fitting it I don't know.
Excellent customer service and product quality. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Really slow delivery - ordered 13th April, received 30th April. There was a question about the payment address however it was still way too long. When I opened the item a few days later I found multiple areas of damage to the paintwork. Some looks like damage in transit but some of the damage suggests it has already been assembled and returned.
Its a heavy and bulky item so a return is a massive nuisance and the climber I had in mind for it is growing strongly now. On top of this there is a 14 day cut off for returns - even of damaged items.
Its an expensive item so I expected much better.
Further update, I received a phone call first thing this morning and the customer service was excellent and I am being sent the correct compost and am happy with the level of service and the response.

I ordered 1 x wool tomato compost
and 1 x wool vegetable compost on the 28th of April and today 2 x the tomato compost arrived. I cannot now plant what I wanted and needed to and did not expect so long for delivery . It can’t be that difficult to get only two items correct ?
After much research into other brands on the market and the expense involved, I decided to buy the Harrods Manger, the top of the range 8' version with liner. It was relatively easy to put together and for belts and braces, I applied several coats of a quality wood preservative to all the woodwork in order to extend its life.
All has been fine over many years I've had it until this spring when a longitudinal crack appeared in the surface of the soil within. Over recent weeks it's got worse and on closer inspection at the hidden side next to my wall, you could see that the wooden side had given way and only the tough liner was retaining the soil within. I've removed the soil over that half of the manger and upon peeling back the liner you could see that all woodwork was rotten. It's a shame I can't seem to add my genuine photos showing the total failure of the upper structure and the extent of the rot I found.
I'm therefore hugely disappointed with the purchase and although it has performed for several years, with no sign of distress, I question the return I've had for the initial financial outlay of £100s. The supporting legs and liner seem fine at the moment but it will need a new upper cradle, with the inevitable hassle of removing the plants and soil from within and reinstating them. Perhaps I've been unlucky with the quality of the timber (it is a natural product after all) but hopefully Harrods Horticultural will step in now and do the right thing. Thank you.

Ordering was easy and delivery was on time. The two metal raised beds we ordered are brilliant! Once we had decided on the shape we wanted it was all systems go. One slight negative- removing the plastic covering took ages- but appreciate its use. They are easy to assemble although my thumbs were sore after tightening all those nuts and bolts. 😂 Now in position snd planted up- love love love them! Want to order two more as soon as we can. If you want a raised metal bed I would recommend these 100%.
I needed some substantial fittings for a fruit cage that I was building for a customer. The ones that came with the tube and netting from another company were too flimsy. Those supplied by Harrod are perfect. Substantial, easy to fit and adjust and allowed me to build the fruit cage single-handed. I wish I had started on their website!
Selling items, charging money , then sending emails that they are out of stock then I need to chase my money back it's 2024 cmon wake up.

Expect to communicate with multiple "customer services" personnel, all of whom tell you a different story! I have dealt with four so far, and they give you the run around. It consumes a lot of your time, chasing them.
It's basically a delay game, the can is kicked down the road time after time, the goal posts are moved. Clearly the company cannot make the goods fast enough to keep up with the orders.
I was told two 3-seater benches were in stock, but now told that the benches are not finished and being manufactured! When I confronted the latest customer service person with this, she said she was not responsible for what other customer service personnel have said! That's a handy excuse, but should certainly not be the case.
Now a follow up email says that the benches that were in stock to be delivered to me, because I was away the week of the planned delivery 26th August and asked for delivery the following week, the benches were apparently "allocated" to another customer, so I then have had to wait longer for the next lot to be manufactured. This was of course not mentioned up front, only after the event when I chased them for delivery. This is robbing Peter to pay Paul, and is definitely not fair on customers. Those were MY BENCHES, and should not have been given to another customer. But this is how customers are treated.
I have had delivery postponed three times so far.
Because I am adding to my existing collection, I need to deal with the same company. If this was not the case, I would certainly order elsewhere as the customer service is very exasperating and a let down.
Having said that, the delivery men are very nice and could not be more helpful, once you finally get an actual delivery date, which I still don't have!
First order 2300816 June 24 (partially delivered on 6th August due to "quality control" issue after a 6-week wait)
Second order 1364074 5th August replacement for missing item in first delivery initially told it would be delivered within a week, then on 19th August, then on 26th August, then 2nd September, now week of September 9th.
Third order 1365176 12th August - benches in stock and due to be delivered week of 26th August. Delivery date postponed to week of 2nd Sept as I was away at the end of August. Now further postponed to week September 9th, as the "in stock" benches were delivered to another customer.
Customers are not well served, just expected to put up with their inefficiency. Expect lots of apologies and excuses for why you have not received your order.

I purchased a garden parasol at the Chelsea Flower Show 22 May and made sure it was in stock. I asked that it not be delivered until after June 15 as I was going to be away. I didn't hear anything and on 18 June asked when it would be delivered. The response was 24 June. On 26 June I wrote again as I hadn't received it and was told blithely that it wasn't in stock. I have since had an email asking if I was pleased with the product! I had already ordered a base with wheels that HH don't stock and now don't even know if I will receive the umbrella in August. None of this apparently is HH fault, only the supplier. If so, why wasn't I notified. Very disappointed... and angry.

I have spent a lot of money with this company over the years including walk in fruit cages etc. Latest shopping experience was terrible however. I spent half an hour on the phone waiting to speak to someone as to why their 10% discount code didn't work on their website (the shopping basket offered it and applied it giving precisely 0% !). The person on the phone clearly wasn't interested so I gave up. I bought the kit anyway as I had invested a lot of time getting to my buying decision but HH will be off my destination list in future !

Harrod refunded the poles as they broke
But refused to refund the covers as they were not broken
What on earth do I do with covers and no frames?
Incredibly poor service
I bought the smallest square planter. It was very difficult to put together & beyond most average diy’ers. Screw quality was poor too. Not good value at all. Anything larger would have been a complete disaster!
