Karen served me, she was patient, polite and knowledgeable. She looked at multiple options to get me the best hotel and location for the perfect holiday. She couldn’t have been more helpful.

American businesses won’t accept Hays travel cards. CARD MIS-SOLD TO US
My husband wanted $1000 cash to give to me for our holiday, in addition to some American paper currency. However the Hays Travel employee told him that the Hays prepaid travel money card was the way to go. Apparently you could assign a pin number to their card and use it anywhere that accepts contactless within the USA basically use it like a bank card to just tap and go. We thought that we could use it to pay businesses that were reluctant to take cash and it would be “better” than a credit or bank card.
The Norse Atlantic on the flight to America staff said “sorry we don’t take those cards it’s airline policy to only take credit or debit cards.” Walmart wouldn’t accept it either. Westgate resort in Orlando needed the state tax paying on arrival and their response was “sorry we don’t take those and you ll find most businesses in America won’t touch those because they don’t have the card owner’s name on the front.”
I’m going to keep trying to use this card in businesses around Orlando and I ll update you on how well it works. So far we are 0 out of 3.
Update
We have been able to use the card with the pin in Disney and 2 outlet clothes shops (we only went to 2)
Not for Ubers though.

Holiday
My mum and I went to book a holiday in the yarm branch and the staff were very friendly.
Rashinda took care of us and was very patient and listened to everything that we had asked for.
We got flights from teesside, which was great and overall the price was very good.
Everything was explained very clearly, and I went in 2 days later to make the payment, and it was explained that an email will be sent to me and if I needed any help with the forms just call the branch.
I booked my holiday last year with Hays travel and I was so happy with the service and my fab holiday that I shall continue to use Hays travel in the future.

More than impressed with service I received at Hays in Yarm. It's not the first time I have used this company. The whole booking process took only 24 hours. All questions answered and queries addressed. Left the travel agency safe in the knowledge that I could contact the agency if I experienced any problems.

Becki Mands made the experience of booking very easy and hassle free. It was for a cruise for 8 ladies to celebrate a 50th birthday. Becki managed to book all the cabins together and arrange the individual packages. The links were sent to individuals to pay deposits which was handy. Would definitely book with Becki again !
