Excellent company with helpful staff
I have been a member with healthshield for many years now. They are fast and operate a user friendly online process to make a claim and have a team of supportive staff members. Never had trouble claiming my money back for treatments etc.

What are you claiming for!
It is easy to make general claims and the company gives you a direct link on their platform to Health Shield, plus you can download the app.
To claim for the PMI excess that has been a lot more difficult, I have made about 5 claims that has been rejected to claim the amount back. Always asking for more information, which I then have to go back to Bupa etc and ask them for. So in these circumstances it would be nice if it there was something standard in place or you could deal this Bupa direct.
