The HiQ Dover franchise manager - Martyn - is a con artist who sells damaged cars under HiQ branding and then tries to block the customer and claim private sale when they question it. Faulty breather hose and then bodge job body work all discovered in less than 30 days. Will be raised with HiQ head office and legal action to follow. Excited to see the look on his face when the melt has to compensate me😇

EDIT: This IS a review about my personal experience at the business. I've emailed customer service, and the Dover premises directly. No response. Sort it out.

The previous review was REMOVED after you reported it for containing the managers surname, because you would rather remove the review than deal with the fact your manager is conducting sales under the companies branding fraudulently. Every other negative review mentions Martyn and Lee by name. If this review is an issue, report those too.

Always make an effort to fit me in at the last minute, very reasonably priced, won’t try and upsell anything or encourage you to get unnecessary work done. I wouldn’t go anywhere else

Had a dreaded warning light on the dashboard. Rang Dover branch who said to drop it in for a diagnostic, would try and fit it in between booked jobs. Got a call at 10.30 to say its an ABS sensor and local Ford have one in. Price will be £60 diagnostic plus £80 for part and fitting if I was happy to go ahead. Also advised that if that didnt work it would need a new wheel bearing and that would be another £140 but would call to discuss first. Had a call at 1.30 to say job done, road tested, all ok. Cant thank the staff enough for getting it done so quickly and at a very good price, I know how much and how long Fords would have been. Open, honest garage that you can trust and will go the extra mile to help customers, keep up the good work

Booked through Black circle and chose HIQ Dover as it was local.
The day before the fitting, I contacted the branch to make sure my tyres had be delivered and the appointment still stood.
The call was answerwd by a very abrupt man, with absolutely now customer service. He came across as very rude.
The garage offered 1st come first served service. I arrived at exactly 8am and walked into reception.
Explained I was booked for new tyres and was asked "Are you leaving the car or waiting".
I explained i would be waiting.
The reply came back " You can wait as long as you like mate"
This was the same person that answered the called yesterday (Martyn) the garage Manager.
Again I thought his customer service needed a lot of work.
15 minutes passed and a Mechanic walked into reception. A much better attitude, but did ask for the wrong Vehicle.
45 minutes later the job was complete.
Upon inspection when I got home, I noticed that the paint on the rim of the wheel had been chipped.
Definitely won't be using this garage again, or recommending it to anyone.

I took my car in for a service and MOT and the team was excellent - quick, professional and overall a great experience.

It's the first time I have used HiQ in Dover and after my first experience I can honestly say that it's the first of many to come.

Husband was pleased with their service when he got his MOT, so I decided to try them too. They were incredibly kind and helpful when I popped in with a leaking tyre valve, they checked it and did a temporary seal to tide me over, no charge. They don't hold the special valve I needed, and advised me what to buy, but they would fit it for me. When I got the valve, they booked me in within a few days and the job was done perfectly..and they didnt charge, because they said it only took 5 minutes! I know other garages would still charge a full hour rate minimum on a small job, so I appreciate how kind that was, as a result, they will be our go to garage for both our cars in the future - thank you guys!

I ordered 2 tyres online with Asda Tyres and picked HiQ for the fitting. I had a call from Lee 2 days before my booking to say that the tyres had arrived and he could fit me in earlier the next day if I was available. As I was free I took advantage of this offer and got them done early. I also asked if Lee could look at a back tyre that loses pressure every couple of weeks. I got a call in the afternoon to say that the 2 front tyres had been fitted and having looked at the back tyre found it was leaking from a previous repair. He said he could repair it for £19.99 but couldn't guarantee it would hold so I decided to leave it and order another tyre from Asda Tyres to be fitted the following week. When I collected the car after that fitting, Martyn told me they had fitted a new valve at no cost as they we're concerned it may also be leaking. All round superb service from a group of staff who don't want to rip you off but just want to give the customer an excellent service, rare these days

Booked my car in for an MOT. This was done promptly and professionally ensuring I was updated by telephone calls as to work needed. Friendly service . Thank you HiQ, Maxton, Dover, Kent.

The guys at my HiQ garage are always so welcoming, no question is too silly and they’re always more than happy to help and explain.
I’ve been going to this garage since it opened and have never felt any anxiety taking my car in and expecting a huge bill.
They’re true to their word and always call before doing something that may need doing unexpectedly.
Great value for money and always a fantastic job!

Excellent service, fitted me in at short notice even though they were busy as I was worried about my breaks. Quick turn around. Excellent customer service and very professional. Competitive pricing. Second time I have used them and very happy would definitely use again and would recommend them.

Absolutely fabulous. Friendly and helpful. The mechanic showed me exactly what needed to be done and was completed perfectly. 💯 Great place for ladies to take their cars no silly noises as the price rises and very polite.
