I booked a 2 wheels alignment on 18.11.25 with 2 preferred dates 21.11.25 and 22.11.25. 4 days gone and the shop closed for this week and I didn't get any kind of respond from the Hull branch. Not even a "We are sorry but unfortunately we can't book you in on your preferred dates due to ...." They didn't bothered to answer at all. Unacceptable behaviour. I used this garage a couple of times in the past but I think i have to look after other garage who actually care about their costumers.

Best mechanic shop in Hull :) yesterday tension wheel from my belt got damaged in my Audi A5 and need to use RAC assistance to tow car back to Hull. I left it in front of HIQ garage. 8.00 in morning i got call from guys "Marcin what ypur car doing here, what happened? ". Went for talk and agreed price for fixing and was told "car will be ready for dinner time" and guess what - car was ready 10.30am already :) really so glad :) like mentioned before - best mechanic dhop in Hull.
Staff very friendly and fully professional 👌 👍

My car was making a concerning rattling noise, which was coming from the front tyre area. I was seen immediately, they diagnosed the problem, removed the loose brake disc backing plate and replaced the wheel. They said they would replace the plate when I had sourced a replacement, which I was easily able to do, very cheaply from ebay.
A really fantastic service, and so very helpful. The mechanic was amazing. Thank you.

Had an issue following a pothole so took the car in for a wheel alignment check. The people at HiQ Hull were [all] superb! We're very new to the area so I simply chose a garage that could quickly slot me in - they did, and I'm glad they were second on my list to try!

They actually noticed the two front tyres needed replacing urgently. Booked the car in for the two tyres instead, plus alignment which they sorted for me the very next day.

They were polite and professional at all times, with the price being near enough to what I could have found elsewhere. But they were so helpful, polite and professional that I wouldn't want to just save a few quid.

I encountered a good number of the staff there over my two visits that it wasn't just a one-off-nice-guy, but a whole team approach to caring for customers. That is beyond rare these days, in any industry. It sounds corny, but it's true!

Even with some less than helpful customers - while I was sat there - they were still just as professional and polite (and very patient).

I've been motoring for 3 decades and with a mate who is a proper mechanic (ie veteran REME mechanic!) I've gotten very fussy over the years what I'll tolerate from garages.

With HiQ Hull I was genuinely impressed, and that isn't easy these days, and certainly not for me.

Really can't recommend this garage enough, although I can comment on tyres and alignment at this point!

The staff at the Hull branch Spring bank were excellent .On a busy Friday they fixed my drive belt I didn’t have a clue what was wrong with the car .They made me feel at ease straight away as a female driver I would highly recommend.The price was reasonable too and fixed in good time .Would use again thanks guys
