Helpful service, good choice of mid range tyres, price was fair - have used the Tunbridge Wells branch on a number of occasions. Had an extended wait to get the tracking checked which was the down side of this visit

I have just had a terrible experience. The manager charged me £200 more than quoted. I asked if the job had been more complicated than planned and he said there had been a small complication costing a little extra but that the basic fee was almost £200 higher than I had been advised. He was unpleasant and aggressive in his manner (unlike the very nice men working for him). I had two young children with me and felt bullied into paying in order to leave. I drove straight to Pembury Auto Centre (who had also quoted the same original amount to fix the car but who we sadly didn’t choose to do the job) who expressed disbelief at what I had been charged. The manager there said it was more than double the correct fee for the job (which his mechanic had also examined and quoted for). I then phoned the HIQ manager again and he was deeply unpleasant and unprofessional, calling me a liar and claiming he had agreed the high price with my husband, which he absolutely had not. Why on earth would we have selected HIQ if they were quoting £200 more that Pembury Auto Centre? Please avoid this garage at all costs. I advised the manager I will be reporting to trading standards and trying to retrieve my money through the small claims court. He was rude and sarcastic upon hearing this.

I only needed one tyre, checked which one I needed, ordered online and got a time for it to be fitted. Received email confirmation the tyre was ready to be fitted.
When I arrived I was given a approximate time for finish and went for a walk. They phoned me to say it was ready, explained why the tyre was punctured and we settled up.
Excellent service and cheaper than others too. Thoroughly recommend!

First class service alongside great advice.

Paid for 2 tyres and I told the receptionist where I thought they were needed. The mechanic then inspected all 4 wheels on my vehicle, moving the tyres around to achieve a better end result.
