The service was professional, efficient, and customer-focused from start to finish. The team was friendly and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. My experience with Holdcroft at Ellesmere Port Cheshire Oaks
My experience with Holdcroft at Ellesmere Port has been awful. I bought an MG from the same sight and the sale was perfect. After a small amount of time I started having issues with my brand new car, over almost 10 months, I was back and too with them to get the issues resolved, having to fight for a courtesy car each time, being told there was nothing wrong when there clearly was and having to call out the AA each time to get my car going to take to them each time. Staff sometimes rude and unhelpful, never reading messages sent to their team on their WhatsApp group or through their site which clearly says they will respond immediately, being told that they don't even use that site, so what's the point!!! Lastly, booked by car in for it's first service, turn up on the day to be told that's they booked it on on the wrong day. Just absolutely awful and with no apologies like it was all my fault. I would defo not go back to Holdcroft for anything and would certainly not recommend them. Please don't let this effect the team from MG as they were fine but once the car is sold, you never deal with that side ever again - just this shocking service desk and reception team!!!!

We would like to say that the service we have received from MG Holdcroft as been outstanding.
This is our second car from the branch and every time we have needed help we have had "FIRST CLASS SERVICE".
We would like to say a big "THANK YOU" to Alex who has been "OUTSTANDING" with us when we have visited the branch.
Alex is a credit to Holdcroft's he has sold us two cars and has given us great service.
We would also like to thank the service staff Tracey, Allan and Phil who have also help us many times, they are all outstanding staff members.

Worst after-sales service ever.
If you have a problem with your car after buying from this dealership, you will have a very difficult time getting it resolved.
I bought a Nissan Qashqai (23 plate) in January 2026 as a birthday present for my wife. I drove all the way from Croydon to Stoke-on-Trent to view the vehicle. During the test drive we noticed mould/fungus on the driver’s seatbelt, and we were assured the car would receive a proper clean before collection. However, when we came to pick up the car, the seatbelt was still in exactly the same condition.
We were also promised a full tank of fuel, but the car had less than a quarter tank when we collected it.
It also became clear that the car had not been properly checked before being sold. Shortly after purchase I noticed several issues:
Noise from the brakes
Driver-side mirror not folding properly
Chipped windscreen, causing poor visibility
Before purchasing the car the staff were very polite and helpful. However, once the sale was completed, communication became extremely poor. I constantly have to chase them for updates, and although they repeatedly say they will call back, they never do. Messages often go unanswered and I keep getting passed between different departments. They also show very poor knowledge of their own Nissan warranty.
Overall, I am very disappointed with the customer service and after-sales support. I am currently still waiting for a phone call from them for the past two days regarding the windscreen issue, and nobody has contacted me.
Based on my experience, I would advise others to be very cautious before purchasing a vehicle from Holdcroft Nissan

They had the car I wanted. The sales staff were helpful and not pushy. The delivery was arranged quickly and efficiently. The inside of the car could have been cleaner, under seats etc. but generally service was good and supportive.

Bought Honda ENY1 Ex Demo from Warrington the salesman Adam was very polite and facilitated the sale. The rear light bar had water ingress which i pointed out.The service department stated they would order a replacement and call me when when in stock for fitting. Never heard anything again even after several calls. Then sales staff kept phoning and asking me for the vehicles log book which i had part exd. Which i had taken in to the dealers eventually they found it no apology. I would not buy a car from the company again. Not what i expected from a Honda main dealer.
In the end i took my car to another Honda dealer, 'Cox' in Blackpool and they have been excellent and carried out the work on my car. Talk about 'chalk and cheese'.

Had service booked for 2nd march at Crewe which was booked by me in February I arrived at holdcroft for 8.30 am go to the service desk no-one about wanted 30mins till someone showed up eventually it may have been the cleaner not sure they said they find someone to attend to me eventually they did and it was booked in with a list of jobs informed me if I don't get Tel call by 4pm make my way to holdcroft which I did again no-one about someone came they get someone to me eventually short staffed was the reason? Car was ready not paperwork they had it all day? when I got paperwork and paid they informed me they could not do one job as they failed to inform me to drop car off the day before so now I drop the car off another day this is very very poor service it looks like they could not give a dam about customers

AVOID MG, CHESHIRE OAKS
Would personally never use this place again or never have an MG.
At mg Holdcroft we are a fast pace whatever it says when your on hold….WRONG ! They have ZERO communication skills, that they should ask toddlers how to communicate.
The service manger is chauvinistic - tried to blame me for clutch going on MG HS useless (under a year and less than 10,000 miles, along with other faults ) was a bit surprised when mentioned that husband also drives MG HS useless and then EVEN asked if I could drive a manual, bearing in mind I have had the car a year and took manual driving lessons, have only ever driven a manual and only twice drive an automatic (test drove auto HS useless ) and car had a supposed service (auto curiosity car).
I can very well drive a manual, I can probably drive it better than most men can do, as most men have a mangina and drive automatics. I only ever reverse park (any car) I can do it with one hand and I can parallel park too.
UPDATED no longer have MG HS useless thank god and anyone who I have said ‘I had an MG HS’ to have said I bet it had loads of problems. It is well known that MG’s are the worst.

Excellent customer service from start to finish at MG Cheshire Oaks. Was treated extremely well by Ryan and had a very positive experience. Went over every detail of the process from ordering our new car to collecting it and given a full overview of the comprehensive controls/screen, which was much needed. Ryan has been nothing short of excellent throughout this process and would full recommend Holdcroft MG Cheshire Oaks to anyone. We certainly will return for our next car. Thank you Ryan!
