Terrible. Just because you are going into administration don't forget people will still be trying to order off of your website. They cancelled one order which I made, ordered more items and can't be bothered to update on the delivery which I specifically asked for today. Joke.

I was pleased with my purchases. But the colleague that served me was quite rude and unhelpful. This is most unfortunate as usually I have a very positive experience and find the staff helpful.

Went to Home Base, Catford branch just off Road with a team member to do a big work garden items. I was really impressed at how helpful the staff were, one gent helped us with lifting the large heavy ceramic pots, another kind lady came and found my colleague to get us to scan QR code as we spent a long time in the store filling up our 4 trolleys with gardening stuff. She didn’t want us to get fix penalty notice for parking for a long duration in the car park. I really appreciated the proactive and very considerate action! The lady on the till was also very delightful and extremely helpful and patient with our large amount of stuff she had to scan. Such a great team of professionals at this branch!! I hope the management team know how lucky they are to have such lovely and helpful people working for them! Thank you the team at Home Base Catford branch ( just off Bromley Road) you guys rock!!

Shop assistant was 1st class BUT an item I ordered on line and paid for was unavailable although was showing it was in stock. Now have to wait for refund.

Got to the store, order was ready and packed on trolley and was correct

Got a call from Homebase to remind me to collect. The staff is always lovely and the click and collect item was in great condition.

I’ve been to the Homebase Catford store a few times, and each visit has been uncomfortable due to the behavior of the security staff. Every time I shop, I am followed closely by security, which makes me feel extremely uneasy. On multiple occasions, after paying for my items, I’ve noticed security waiting at the entrance as I exit — something that doesn’t happen with other customers. I’m then singled out and asked to show the contents of my personal bag (not even a Homebase one) and provide a receipt. When I question this, I’m told it’s “policy” and that it happens to everyone, which is simply untrue.

I’ve reached out to Homebase about this issue in the past, but nothing has been done to address it. As a 40-year-old man who works in trade, I find this treatment both offensive and unjustified. I was even told that it was because I had a backpack with me, which is ridiculous as I was on my way to work.

Due to this repeated and discriminatory experience, I will be avoiding this store in the future, and I would recommend others do the same.

Our experience with Homebase was worth 5star+++ from the beginning to the end. 1st, Liz was very helpful, guiding us choosing our ideal kitchen and storages and 2nd, what can I say about the fitters,George and Radu, there's not enough stars for them. We were impressed by their professionalism, punctuality and amazing work. Thank you very much.

The staff were extremely helpful, efficient, and pleasant from start to finish. We bought several heavy items and a member of staff loaded up all of our purchases into our car, despite the pouring rain.

Liz was absolutely amazing from day one! Her creativity and knowledge really blew us away, and she was so patient as we kept changing our minds. No matter how many times we switched things up, she always had a smile on her face and great ideas ready to go. Plus, she made the whole process fun with her easygoing nature and sense of humor – she matched our banter perfectly, which made working with her an absolute pleasure.

What really stood out was how much she genuinely cared. Liz didn’t just stick to regular hours – she went above and beyond, answering our messages and questions even outside of work, making sure we felt supported the whole way through. She really got what we wanted and came up with suggestions that turned our kitchen into something even better than we’d hoped for.

We’re beyond happy with how everything turned out. Liz is hands-down the best kitchen designer you could ask for – talented, down-to-earth, and just a great person to work with. If you want someone who knows their stuff and can have a laugh with you, she’s your go-to. We can’t recommend her enough!

Got to the till and what I brought came up to £4.50 but because it said £4.75 on the ticket instead of trusting the till she actually changed it to £4.75. So I won't be shopping at homedase again I'll go b&q from now on .where is the service here she said she had to do .I work in retail so I no what the till says is what it is .good luck homebase u won't be here long if u keep that up got served by bhanu

Goods were not new and had no boxes and showed lots of stains from display or storage. Asked for reduction but not agreed. Very disappointing and not like Homebase

In one sentence ujala jadhav made it possible. From the beginning to the finish always available for help and advice.
I couldn't fault her assistance and advise which made it possible. Would recommend 7 days a week and twice on Sunday . I could call it a perfect kitchen now. 24 July 2024 contract began very grateful for the patience waiting for our builders to finish preparing the kitchen today we are very happy how it turned out. Completed 14th September 2024

Purchasing patio furniture. Very pleased as huge discounts and very helpful assistant called Nathan helped me to my car and loaded it for me.

This is specifically for Ujala from the kitchen section. I recently had my kitchen designed from Homebase, my designer was Ujala. What an amazing lady, she is experienced, talented and very warm, communication skills in service and design work was excellent. I highly recommend her. God bless her ♥️

Easy to order and to collect, friendly staff

I was very happy with the service I got from Homebase from the ordering witch was nice and easy and the delivery well within the time I was given for delivery
