Quick and easy pick up, lovely staff, great item price.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to a Homebase store since my local store closed in Southampton, it’s nice to see the store so full of products again but not just random products actually stuff that normal DIYers and Gardeners will use.

The store itself seems a bit dated and could do with a bit of a refresh and I don’t understand why the Tapi Carpet showroom has been located where it has it almost cuts the store in half.

I was also disappointed to find that you no longer offer an in store board cutting service as your timber boards did seem competitive in price.

All in all was a positive visit and I will visit again all the staff I encountered seemed friendly enough and the experience at the tills was quick and easy so thank you.

The cheerful call I received this AM to say that my ordered item was ready for collection … but the lovely lady wanted me to be aware that because she’s seen the box the item was in was a little damaged, she’d opened it, checked the contents and taped it back up … really was a great hat tip to the usual high quality level of customer service I’ve grown accustomed to when buying from Homebase! Thanks you… I just wish I’d made a note of your name :-)

I ordred two pots online and went to collect them but they weren't quite what I was expecting. Lauren processed my refund straight away. I then located one pot which I liked, Lauren then checked stock availability. Kai,Mike and Hilary then had to move lots of stock to locate another of my pots. This was all done super quickly and really professionally. They didn't keep me waiting. It was a super team effort and showed a true commitment to customer service. All four members of staff are a credit to your store. Thank you again Katie

Fiona and Lauren were very helpful in resolving our kitchen tile issue. Very friendly and quick to sort out the problem. They exchanged the tiles for the correct ones. Thank you.

It may be worth noting to other staff who pick orders, that it is the date the tile was produced that needed to be the same and not the batch/Lot number. We had boxes of tiles that were produced in May, June and January and all were out by a couple mm!

I like the product but I was not impressed when I headed for the click and collect desk only for the manager to call another customer over ahead of me. This customer could easily have gone to another till as there were no queues and he was not actually collecting anything. This was extremely rude behaviour and should not be tolerated. In contrast, the young lady on the C &C desk was very polite and efficient. It comes to something when it is left to the staff to set an example of courtesy and efficiency to their superiors!

I called the store to find out if they had any turf in stock, as I didn’t want to travel if not, I was put through to a lady called Sam who went and checked and she confirmed they had a fresh pallet in, I asked if 30 could be put by for me, she said that would not be a problem. She told me there was a 5 for £25 promotion on turf and there was an addition 15% as well! When I arrived at the store they knew about the order and a colleague was asked to get them for me from the back whilst I paid.
A colleague called Mike brought the turf out and help me to the car and he also helped me load them, which was much appreciated as I had two small children with me. Overall a painless experience with fantastic customer service.

Very good, fast turn around from order to collection.

Ordered today, got a message back saying my order was being processed, thirty minutes later got a text and e mail telling me my item was ready for collection, spot on excellent service, collected it today.

Very efficient, delivery was very well organised

I went to homebase on Thursday 11th April walk in about 7pm was looking for some paint samples but didn't have the colours on shop floor but because we was looking for Dulux we got it mixed up from a young lad called mason. Very polite and professional. And Claire serve us on the customer service desk. I was pleased with the service especially as a ex member of Staff. Thank you for your help and very good experience. We also came in on 10th April and was served by Graham again very friendly and very polite. Thank you all for your help and service.

I came into the store, found three tins on the shelf. Couldn’t find a member of staff so I searched and found three talking in the garden area. I asked for help that I needed one more tin (buy one get one half price deal). Was told no, that’s all they have on the shelf. Drive to another store that didn’t have the same range so I went online to order. The Fareham store said it had five tins on stock. Feel annoyed that instead of driving to the store twice and another store out of town the paint was actually there. Homebase since contacted me which I thought was excellent that they were actually bothered that I had a bad experience at their store today. This makes all the difference that they wanted to improve my recent experience. One a one star review but changed to five star ⭐️

We received outstanding customer service over the last couple of days whilst looking to refresh our kitchen from Cerys Masser. Her excellent product knowledge and customer service was a spot on! Her communication skills have been top notch keeping us informed, she is a credit to your Fareham Branch! We will be coming back and would highly recommend.

I can honestly say i know nothing about decorating as i've always left it to my husband. Yesterday 3/4/24 i went to Collingwood Retail Park to see what i would need for damp walls and appropriate paint, to say i was baffled would be a understatement. I asked one of your employees Helen for her advice on the above situation. I was very impressed with her knowledge and experience she had and certainly pointed me in the right direction of what i needed ,and explained what all the certain products would do. I bought her recommendations and my husband said 'it was perfect for what we needed' . Thank you Helen for all your help very appreciated and a very happy husband.

Found a lady that was very knowledgable and so very helpful. Gave us a wealth of information and some very good ideas regarding which plants we could look at and when and how to look plant and look after them. Outstanding performance.
