Easy to order on line, good prices & ready to collect.. Saturday collection was a real help

We have had a delivery today by this company and it was concrete fence base panels as you can imagine are very heavy. The delivery guy came was inconsiderate as he loaded them right in the centre of my drive after I repeatedly explained to him there was plenty of room in the back of the drive . This has resulted in the panels blocking my car in my drive. This was very inconvenient for me and could have been avoided.

Shout out for the Newcastle-under-Lyme branch. Had several purchases lately and l can honestly say absolutley the best experience of any builders merchant. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly yet provide professional service, prompt response to enquiries and nothing is too much trouble. Other large companies take note this is how it should be. Highly recommended

I placed an order on the Friday for some skirting and architrave. It was promised to come on Tuesday afternoon. As such I booked in two Joiners to come and fit it on Wednesday and then a Painter to come and paint it all on Thursday – it never turned up!! The guys at the Cottingham branch then promised that it would be here on Friday first thing. And if they couldn’t get the skirting then they would get the architrave to us on first delivery of the morning and then get the skirting to us later. So once again I booked the two joiners fand a Painter. And lo and behold it never turned up once again!! So I was left with two Joiners who have been booked in twice and also a Painter who has been booked in twice and they cannot do the tasks. They are significantly out of pocket and thoroughly annoyed. Not only this but we also based lots of other things round these trades been here and I have taken time off work and delayed other trades on these two days as we thought this work would be happening. I feel the team at the Cottingham branch just told myself lie after lie. If they can’t source the material and they can’t deliver when you say you can it’s fine, just tell us and we can sort it elsewhere or book the tradesmen in for when it will be available. But to just lie like this is absolutely shocking. And after complaining to the Area Manager he came up with a load of excuses too. Save yourself a lot of hassle and shop elsewhere.

Ordered online for collection from Sale. Collected within the hour easy peasy, all good.

Looking to buy a new kitchen can be overwhelming and stressful - where to go, what budget to work to, what design etc. You will be spending alot of money and you want to get it right. I felt all of the usual apprehension but that disappeared when I started to work with Julie at Haworth Timber Newcastle-under-Lyme. The showroom isn't huge, but the range of samples is extensive and Julie took the time to guide me through all of the options. Julie provided me with impartial advice and made me aware of the pros and cons of the choices I was making - she listened and develped the design that I wanted, but also gently offered alternatives that I hadn't had the vision to consider. Essentially I felt like Julie 'held my hand' throughout the whole process and genuinely wanted me to have my dream kitchen. I am extremely happy that I went with Haworth's for the quality and value for money of the products, but in particular for the customer care that Julie provided.

The kitchen showroom manager has been amazing, working with us to design our dream kitchen. Nothing was never too much trouble when we had questions and they worked with us to ensure we maximised the space and gave us a better kitchen than we could’ve imagined. We ended up with everything we asked for, plus more following their great advice and recommendations.

I couldnt choose my required delivery day on line so called and was told they would catch the order and deliver on my chosen day. And they did!
Order arrived, driver very helpful job done. In a world where computer usually says no this experience was refreshing! Thank you

We ordered a big bulk bag of gravel. I contacted customer services to get an idea of delivery timings and they were very helpful.

Update: Dropped a star because I ordered another 2 loads of gravel. However this company definitely don't give you a despatch date/time and it seems that if you don't contact the local depot to ask them, then the delivery will just turn up unexpectedly, they don't kock on your door and would leave it anywhere near the property, unless you specifically go out to direct them where to leave it. Apart from that they're very good and we'll buy from them again.

Although the original delivery date had to be rearranged the staff were helpful and kept in touch
