How do I experienced the whole day?

Well my experience the whole day was fantastic, first meeting with all group of participants and talk about culture and experience it was amazing.Talking about weaknesses and strengths about surfing with the whole group was very well organised and planned.Pepijn's ability to analyze and deliver experience with improvements was the best.

Pepijn is a great surfinstructor. He really focusses on improving your surf and goes the extra mile to do so. I like his style: he makes sure you don’t get overwhelmed and focus on the positive. We did a full day wavepool session with him (2x surf and 2x video analysis). I highly recommend that to anyone who wants to improve surfing

Pepijn is a great coach, able to notice details and mistakes in your technique that others wouldn't see. He has extensive tools and knowledge to help you with any surfing issues.
Last week I did the Rif010 day coaching with Pepijn and the experience was incredibly comprehensive, with explanations before and after the water and group video corrections.
Pepijn goes wave by wave, giving individual advice that is also invaluable to the rest of the group. The group atmosphere was very pleasant, with a desire to learn and help each other in the water.
For me, the best part was the experience of being able to rehearse maneuvers on a pool wave, which gives you the opportunity to do again and again. And of course, Pepijn's advice between waves. Something that would be almost impossible to do in the ocean. The experience far exceeded my expectations. I truly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to quickly improve their surfing, in a nurturing environment and with a coach who will do his best to help you achieve your goals during this session.

Pepijn coached me a full day in the wavepool which was great. After every wave he gave me a tip on how I could improve. After the sessions we did videoanalyses with more detailed feedback and some practical excersises. It was really a great experience and would recommend it.

I’ve been surfing for over two decades, mostly self-taught, and started working with Pepjin Tigges and his Surf Academy Pro program last winter through online video coaching. Even those first sessions had a noticeable impact on my surfing — helping me see things I hadn’t been aware of and start correcting long-standing habits.

But spending a full week in France with Pepjin took it to another level.

His daily video analysis sessions are incredibly thorough and insightful. Every day, he helped me break down what was happening in the water and connected it directly to land-based drills and technical exercises. Especially the focus on proper form during turns and discussing the sections that I misread made a big difference for me.

What I value most is his approach to making the unconscious conscious — bringing awareness back into movement so that real progress becomes possible. Pepjin creates a learning environment that’s structured, supportive, and rooted in deep experience. And beyond the coaching itself, he and the Surf Inn team created a super fun and motivating atmosphere throughout the week.

Also, big credit to his local knowledge and planning — nearly every day, he managed to find waves that were ideal for progression, regardless of the conditions.

I’ll definitely be back. If you’re serious about improving your surfing, no matter your level, I can’t recommend Pepjin highly enough.

I spent a week at the surf coaching with Pepijn in France (May 10–17), and it was a fantastic experience. Every single day included video analysis, which really helped me understand what to work on. Pepijn has a great eye for details that many other coaches might overlook – I learned things I had never noticed myself and wouldn’t have thought to improve on.

At the end of the week, he gave each of us three key points to focus on going forward, which felt super tailored and helpful. We also did some surfskate sessions, which really supported the technical training in the water.

The atmosphere was great too: a small group, super nice people, delicious food, and a beautiful villa with a pool. All in all, I took a lot from this week and I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned. Highly recommend!

I had an incredible experience with Pepijn Tigges. I’ve been surfing for a while, mostly self-taught, and felt like I had hit a plateau. Working with Pepijn really helped me break through that. He has a great eye for detail and was able to quickly identify the areas I needed to work on.

What really stood out to me was the video analysis – seeing myself surf and having Pepijn walk me through what I was doing right and where I could improve was a game-changer. Within just a few sessions, I was already seeing progress, especially with my bottom turns and overall flow on the wave.

Pepijn creates a super relaxed and supportive atmosphere, which made me feel comfortable trying new things and pushing myself without fear of judgment. He’s really good at explaining complex movements in a simple, understandable way.

Overall, I learned a lot, had a ton of fun, and feel more confident in the water. I’m definitely planning to book more coaching sessions in the future. Highly recommended if you’re serious about improving your surfing.

This vacation really opened up a whole new world for me. I always thought I had a decent grasp of surfing, but suddenly I realized how much I still have to learn. And that realization actually fired up my enthusiasm to keep going and learn all those awesome next steps!

Pepijn created such a laid-back vibe where you still learned a ton at the same time. His feedback is spot on, he helps you truly understand and feel it. And his energy and positivity are incredibly motivating!

I also really loved being out there with a group of people who all share the same passion for surfing. It felt like a surf family: laughing, falling, getting back up, cheering each other on, and supporting one another. The vibe was just perfect, a warm bubble of positive energy.

In short: stoked.
I’m excited to hold onto this feeling, keep learning, and hopefully jump back into the water soon with my ‘surf family’!

The week with Pepjin was great. The training every day, whether in the water or on the surfskate, was very helpful in improving our movement sequences. The waves were unfortunately very small during our week but the group and the team spirit made up for a lot.
An absolute recommendation for progressing in surfing.

I was looking for a surf camp with a bit more depth and that's how I ended up with Pepijn! His surf coaching trips offer just that little bit more than a camp. The focus is completely on surfing because we were busy with this every day. Think of video coaching, 1 on 1 coaching, in water coaching and surf skate lessons. If you are also looking for this kind of surf coaching trips, you should go to Pepijn!

What. A. Week.

Just got back from an unforgettable surf coaching trip with Pepijn Tiggers in Vieux Boucau, and honestly – 11/10 would paddle out again.

First off, Pepijn is an absolute legend. Not only does he spot the tiniest details in your surfing that somehow change everything (like, how was I even doing it before?!), but he also explains it in a way that just makes sense. Video analysis? Gold. Surfskate lessons? Surprisingly helpful. Basically, he’s the surf whisperer.

But it wasn’t just about the surf. The whole trip was a total vibe – thanks to Pepijn’s chill but somehow magically organized energy, a group of total strangers turned into surf buddies by day two. Great convos, big laughs, and just the right amount of goofiness.

Also major props to the villa crew – those legends kept the place spotless, cooked up some seriously tasty meals (still dreaming of those dinners), and made sure everyone felt right at home. You could just focus on surfing, recovering, and... okay, maybe the occasional glass of wine.

If you're looking to seriously level up your surfing and have a blast with good people, this is the trip. I learned a ton, laughed even more, and already can’t wait for the next one.

Pepijn is an amazing coach, learned so much of him in 1 week!! He quickly pinpoints for each individual what to focus on and he is puting so much energy to give everyone a great trip. It was also great to have Storm around, who made great pictures and videos. Thanks again pepijn for this amazing week!!

Just got home from another amazing coaching trip with Pepijn. I feel like I improved even more this year. Last year, the focus for me was mainly on finding the 'right' line on a wave. This year however, thanks to Pepijn, I managed to bring my surf maneuvres to the next level: Pepijn has such a clear and effective way to explain basics such as bottom turn, top turn and cutback. He helped me to better my stance (kissing knees, back foot on the tailpad) in order to maximize my maneuvers. I can't wait to learn more next year!

Apart from the coaching, I really enjoyed surfing and hanging out with a group of stoked surfers from different countries, making jokes and sharing experiences. The great pictures and aftermovie of our trip are nice little extra to look back at these beautiful memories.

My surf coaching trip with Pepijn was joyous and memorable. He carefully selected a fantastic location with quick access to several uncrowded, fun waves, creating the perfect environment for learning.

The accommodation was excellent — spacious, comfortable rooms and abundant, healthy food kept us energized. The group Pepijn brought together struck a great balance between fun and focus, making the overall experience even more rewarding.

Pepijn’s coaching style is structured and methodical. Each session targeted one specific skill, followed by review and repetition, often across multiple sessions to build stronger reinforcement. For example, I began the week focused on placing my back foot farther back on the tail pad, and finished by working on generating more rotation back to the pocket on cutbacks. Both areas improved significantly.

I’m already excited for my next trip with Pepijn. Surfing is one of the hardest sports to master — there's a reason pros have coaches — and Pepijn makes the learning process not just effective, but genuinely fun.

Highly recommend!

After 7+ years of surfing, I started to notice that my progression was not taking me to the level I want to be. Ofcourse I could name a few things to work on myself, but it is so hard to improve if you do not see yourself surfing and do not get the correct, in-depth and real life examples of the aspects where you can improve your surfing the most. Pepijn could pinpoint these aspects perfectly. Being critical, but in such a friendly manner. And because you do not only focus on this in the water, but also do analysis and outside-the-water activites that were focused on surfing, the concept is so more vivid. Hell, I was dreaming about it every night.

In the week itself I learned a lot, but the thing I love is that I now have such a clear overview of what I can consciously work on.

Besides that, it was a sick week with a bunch of fun guys in a nice villa. The photos and videos taken are such a good extra, finally you can show your friends what you have been doing all these years ;)

What are you waiting for?

I caught wave after wave immediately in my first session after coming back from my training week with Pepijn. While using my smallest board. Everything fell into place!

Third coaching trip with Pepijn already, and an amazing trip yet again! Pepijn's coaching is so good: he's always positive and constructive and doesn't try to fix all your surfing weaknesses in one go, but focuses on the thing that will help you progress the most from where you are on your surfing journey.
The videos and photography by Storm are a great add-on, and the accommodation was lovely. The food was good (though not as good as on the previous trips) and our group was so much fun: dedicated surfers with plenty of chill in and out of the water :)
If you're looking to progress your surfing, I highly recommend Pepijn's coaching trips (or just try a day of coaching first in the Netherlands).

Had a super nice online session. Discussed a lot and definitely got to some core points of improvement that will unlock my progression.

Pepijn is the best surf coach and more than I asked for, definitely overdelivering! As a surf instructor myself, I did not expected to learn a lot other than watching videos of my own surf. BUT Pepijn blew me away with his expertise, experience and stoke to grow other surfers. I could recommend going on a coach trip with Pepijn 100%!

Pepijn sees perfectly what issues are preventing you from improving your surfing skills, and gives handson advice on them.

Not only does he give you verbal tips, but he makes you see and feel why what you are doing is not working, and what you need to do to make it work.

The video analysis helps tremendously with that. And yes: it can be frustrating that you make the same mistakes over and over again, and that you see those mistakes over and over again on the videos. But only when you realise that you need to adjust something can you work on it.

Pepijjn creates a safe evironement where you are encouraged to make as much mistakes as you can. The group can be divers, but all participants are equally happy for you when you finally make that turn, get that stance, of ride that wave.

I can't wait to put in as many hours as possible to work on my skills with the tools Pepijn gave me so that I can finally get beyond a beginning intermediate surfer.

Expect an intense week where everything is about your progression in surfing. That can be confronting at times. The many hours of surfing can feel physically demanding, but once you have taken the step to get better in surfing then I can only recommend a coaching week with a committed coach as Pepijn!
