Thank you IDOL Courses Academy! I am extremely grateful to have continued access to experienced mentors and coaches, who guided me throughout my learning journey. This program offers a lifetime of access to a wealth of design-focused knowledge and resources.

If you want to become and instructional designer and elearning content creator, IDOL courses is the way to go. The lessons are intentionally designed to close knowledge gaps. I love the fact that the entire program is grounded in solid research.

The best thing about IDOL is the support from the community. The one thing I wish were different is the videos embedded in the course. I wish they were not live videos and were pre-recorded videos that had visuals to explain.

What makes the academy great is the extensive content and resources available to all members. Additionally, it is a permanent community in which all members are able to continuously grow and learn from each other, from mentors to coaches to members.

IDOL Academy is like an immersion school for Instructional Design. I have learned so much in such a short time! It's a great community, and I feel very supported by my coaches, mentors, and peers. The IDOL Academy has a pretty vast wealth of learning resources that I am gradually working my way through in addition to the coursework. Dr.Robin Sargent's positive energy has been a great motivator and confidence booster for me. I was hesitant at first but now I am so glad that I made the decision to join.

The IDOL academy has given me a foundation of knowledge and skills to begin a new career in instructional design with confidence! The work is accessible, fun, and well supported through mentors, coaches, and the large body of resources available through the academy.

Overall the IDOL course is a great choice for those looking to learn theories and get hands on experience in instructional design.

IDOL Courses go through step by step what you NEED to know and allow you to fill in the missing pieces as needed. I appreciate how it is an at your own pace course, but still has guidance and set meeting times/mentor hours.

I have really enjoyed the wealth of information in the IDOLS courses and have consistently referred back to the content. There is so much there that I can also continue my learning for as long as I want. Need to learn a skill? Go back to IDOLS and take the course. It's also a great community to be a part of.

The IDOL Academy is comprehensive, supportive, and useful. The content is thorough. I have learned skills and behaviors to apply in my ID job search, and there are many more topics that I can continue to learn about. The iterative process of learn, attend live webinars and mentor sessions, share with peers, implement peer feedback, share with professionals and implement that feedback is so useful. I felt supported and seen the entire time.

IDOL is an incredible academy to learn instructional design skills. There is absolutely no way I could have accomplished as much as I have the past 7 weeks on my own. The community is the best part about the course. The feedback and support from fellow cohort members as well as the guidance and leadership from coaches and mentors makes the course worth every penny. The reason why I would not rate the academy a 5/5 is because I do believe the course could be improved in several ways. Some of the lessons are include too much information that is not broken down enough for beginners. It is also difficult to locate materials at times. The course has undergone changes recently that have made it better, but the videos do not always reflect those changes. For example, it is not uncommon for the instructions or videos to refer to course materials that are no longer available or in use in the academy. This makes meeting expectations difficult. Overall, I would highly recommend this course.

Wow! I thought I could get into the Instructional Design field on my own. I got a lot of great work done but, IDOL Courses Academy is definitely setting me up for success. I am so grateful to all their resources especially that it is a lifelong membership!

Some questions were confusing; especially the options given for ADDIE. I think that the options need to be clearly expressed concerning the tasks done during each of the phases. This would make it more meaningful. It would also be helpful if the answers to the questions were explained once the responses are submitted.

IDOL Courses Academy has been well-worth the investment. The course is very motivating, and provides the resources and mentoring that have supported me in the creation of a portfolio that I am proud to share.

The IDOL Academy is a thorough program that takes you through each necessary steps to learn and become an Instructional Designer.
