Very disappointed to be fair, after ordering the new sofa bed from one of the Julian Bowen, stockists, it arrived today with a broken mechanism, which to be fair Julian Bowen have offered a replacement, however unlike the original delivery of 48hrs, it could be weeks before I get a replacement, also having been promised the earth initially, I received no call back today, and no have to wait till Monday at the earliest to resolve this issue. In the meantime I'm 900 quid out of pocket and sleeping on the bloody floor again! Just feel a bit let down really, as been without a bed for months and finally thought I'd found a company who would actually deliver on their promise, let's hope they can resolve things and I can change this review to something more positive

What an amazingly easy and helpful company to order from. I needed extra parts for my bed and they honestly went over and above in being helpful, getting my order spot on and being super quick with delivery. Not often I bother to give feedback but they really warranted it. Thank you.

So good to be able to speak to a very helpful human. Companies like this understand customer service. Today I was given exceptional service and was so refreshing.

I contacted Julian Bowen via email after receiving a damaged item. I received a fast response & helpful communication from Chloe who has arranged to send a replacement. Couldn’t ask for better customer service.

Absolutely shambolic !! Delivery date was 11th feb . Updated email to today 12th feb. Received a call from driver 9.50 to say he would arrive in 20 mins. He didnt !! Didnt answer when i called back repeatedly pm. No delivery. No explanation. Emailed delivery company said couldnt do it today . Now i have been told NEXT WEEK ! Although no one can seem to arrange a time. NEVER AGAIN

Recently got in touch for a replacement set of plans for a cabin bed. Almost instant response with the correct PDF. Great customer service, thank you!

I ordered two Julian Bowen bedside drawers from John Lewis last June. At first I was very happy with the purchase, and then both sets of drawers broke within a few weeks of each other - the fronts of the drawers came off completely. It looks to me like a design or manufacturing fault.

The drawers came with a 12 month warranty so I expected to be able to resolve this quickly... Boy was I mistaken! I'm now on week 5 and Julian Bowen have been as obstructive as possible. Firstly, they randomly sent out new drawer fronts as "replacement" parts, but with no instructions or ways of fixing them to the drawers. Then I was told someone would come round to make the repair - that never happened. Most recently, they said they would take them back for a refund, but have insisted that I deconstruct and wrap the drawers for courier pickup. No idea how I am supposed to take them apart, and when it comes to wrapping I was told I should buy some bubble wrap or cardboard to wrap them in - as if me buying some industrial packaging so they can pick up their broken product is totally reasonable!

At this point I think they are just messing with me because I dared to complain about the quality of their product. All I'll say is that all the furniture I bought from IKEA at the same time is still functioning fine... This is not the place to buy from if you want long-lasting, quality products or helpful customer service.

We ordered a bed via Next. It was sent within 10 days. We obviously got rid of our bed when it arrived. However, when we opened the box, there were no fixings. Next promptly apologised and immediately contacted Julian Bowen. They told us our fixings would take 2-7 days. Considering it was their mistake for not adding the fixings, 4 days in, nothing - next hoped they should have arrived soon as it was only a couple of fixings.
Julian Bowen were not helpful at all. They explained that it depends when Royal Mail deliver - no attempt to get this sent in faster. After paying £600 for a bed frame you would think they would try and get this sent out ASAP. Nope. And no tracking too so no idea how long we are going to be on the floor. Really poor.

I contacted Julian Bowens Customer Services via email, I just wanted to know about 2 x replacement screws for a Racing Car Bed. I didn't actually expect an answer and I don't normally leave reviews. But not even 24 hours later Customer Services had got back to me via email and said that they had sent 2 x screws out by post to me. This is why I am leaving a review, to acknowledge how impressed I was with Leanne who quickly resolved our enquiry, when I didn't really expect it. Thank you Leanne.

The item had a faulty leg. However after an email explaining the situation Julian replied by return.
I furnished the details and evidence of payment required.
A replacement which is currently on its way.
Saves having to return the whole nest of tables wasting everyone's time and money.

I enquired about a spare component for our recently purchased wooden bedstead.

I should make clear that there was no manufacturing fault or warranty issue involved.

Leanne was very helpful and email correspondence was promptly responded to. Also the delivery charge was fairly priced.

All in all I cannot fault the customer service today.

I am now looking forward to receiving the component.

A very well organised company with a prompt and courteous reply and service I will be buying again

I ordered a bed from from La Redoute which happened to be supplied by Julian Bowen. The item arrived damaged and was poor quality anyway. I requested a return and because JB had sent it direct, they needed to arrange the collection.They refused to do so without seeing pictures, Took a whole week to decide they would deign arrange a collection.When they did the slot provided meant I had to wait another week for the collection.And even though the tracking shows the return is complete, I am still waiting for my money back. I am told La Redoute need confirmation from JB before they can proceed. It's now been over a month since I requested this return. I am utterly disgusted by the lack of service.

I contacted Julian Bowen after one of the wheels on my daughter's desk broke. They got back to me in less than a day to confirm the spare that I needed, and dispatched it within a week of me first contacting them.
Helen was always prompt responding to emails, and sorted out issue quickly.

From initial order to delivery and after sales care, every single member of the team that I have had dealings with have been super helpful, extremely professional and incredibly friendly. They’ve gone above and beyond for me and I am so grateful. The furniture is great quality and I am thrilled with it, but it is the people who have made all the difference. If you email them it doesn’t just go into a black hole, they will be in touch really quickly and only too happy to help. Particular mention to Victoria and Georgia who have been especially supportive recently. I really appreciate everything you have helped me with; you are a credit to the company. Thank you.

Horrible customer service from Chloe. She was rude and unprofessional on handling a general quiry.

We ordered some Julian Bowen furniture using A****n.co.uk and tried to cancel our order the next working day but we were unable to cancel it due to the intentional/unintentional wall of silence between A****n and Julian Bowen's warehouse down south. It was a WEEK before delivery was expected for some items and a MONTH before delivery of the other item, yet BOTH parts of our order could not/cannot be cancelled, no matter how we tried/try using the online system or the call centres at A****n and Julian Bowen. This unwanted furniture is now due to be delivered all the way to the northwest of the Scottish Highlands, where the poor drivers will have to negotiate the worst potholed roads in the dark, only to be politely told that we could not cancel the order and request that they not offload any of it and return it to Julian Bowen down south. Buyer beware!

I recently furnished 2 apartments in London, and the delivery and install service from Julian Bowen was outstanding, special mention to Ralph & Richard. An efficient and helpful service, nothing was too much bother - delivered to a high standard, on time with a smile. I would highly reccommend. Thank you Ralph & Richard!

Service issue with head end of a bed frame. Email sent and within 48 hours it had been acknowledged and a replacement is being sent which I should get within 48 hours. Great service all round from Helen and her team
