I have had my brand new lxr for 2 months and have rode it just under 400 miles, i have the engine management light on so took it in for a service at my local bike dealership (not lexmoto dealer) they said the light was on due to a faulty o2 sensor so i contacted lexmoto to get it repaired under warranty, after being told i have to ride it over a hour to a lexmoto dealer for this work to be carried out i would also have to pay for labour cost, lexmoto said it is only a £50 diagnostics charge (1 hour) which i believe should be charged to lexmoto if this issue is found out to be covered under warranty, if they cant find the issue after 1 hour i will have to pay £50 ph there after.
How can this be right if you buy a new car and a fault appears you take it back to the garage and they deal with it .
STAY AWAY FROM LEXMOTO after care is diabolical

we have 2 detroit 125cc. in 2 1/2 years we have had no trouble. they are serviced and cleaned regularly, we look after them. done numerous 250 mile a day trips on them. they cruise the back roads at 50 great and will hold 60-65 on dual carriage ways, even able to overtake trucks etc. they have their limitations, they are 10hp 125s after all. if we rode them in all sorts of weather, thrashed the nuts off them and did little or no servicing or adjusting as many of them get treated then maybe our experience would be different. half the price of japanese bikes that will also suffer if not looked after. what you put in you get out. must admit trying to contact lexmoto is a right pain, and paying to call them is a effin cheek. edit: forgot to say, the only real downside is the speedo, I think it just makes up the numbers as it goes along , either vague or laughably optimistic and generally at least 10- 15 mph out across the range

Dont buy lexmoto bike, very poor quality,
I purchased a brand new lexmoto bike lxr 125, in june 2025, two months later the electric regulator went off, they said the warranty is not valid as we are late to do the service, i paid for the repair, one month after that the sensor of the exsost went off, i mean its brand new and every now and then a new issue, rubbish quality, rubbish warranty, its a money waste.

Honestly, Lexmoto have been great to me. The bikes look really good, handle really good (at least my LXR does) and cost nearly half what you'd pay for similar models from the more established brands. I haven’t had the bike for too long, but so far their customer service has been excellent responsive, helpful, and no nonsense. Can’t fault that.

They’ve also got CMPO, their dedicated parts store, which makes sourcing spares incredibly easy. Everything you need is there, no hunting around or waiting for weeks.

Honestly though - if you’re a learner you will drop the bike. At that point, it doesn’t matter whether you spent £1,500 or £5,000 it’s still on the ground.

Lexmoto makes sense: affordable, decent quality, and backed by a support team that actually communicates well.

For that, I thank them.

Bought a Lexmoto diablo 125. I've had it for 2 years, only done 1300 miles ! And endless problems. Signal lights , horn, ignition, battery problems, valve management, rust, throttle got stuck and took me though a red light ! I only use the bike for weekends it's only done 1300 miles ! Parked in a garage and yet it's still falling apart.. I've taken it to garages to be told " don't buy Chinese bikes there **** . Can't sell it who wants to touch it. So I've got a Lexmoto diablo 2 years old had endless problems. Date of this review it's sat in my garage because the ignition has gone AGIAN !

4 lexmotos in 2 years never again reliability is terrible I have moved to kymco the trust in lexmoto lost

What a waste of time Lexmoto are, the 2 years warranty is absolutely pointless.
My RSS Scrambler is 18 months old and going rusty in many places already, even though it's cleaned and serviced to the manufacturers guidelines and been garaged when not in use.
The exhaust is just a tube of rust and the wheels are really bad.
Lexmoto said it was down to poor maintenance, an absolute joke. They will do anything to get out of a repair or replacement of parts.
The bike has only done just over 1800 miles too.

constant problems with leaks, lights, wiring

I bought a brand new lexmoto LSZ 5 1/2 months ago and since this it has repeatedly been in the garage for numerous amounts of problems. First time buying a brand new bike and this is the worst bike I have ever bought. A lot of money paid for this and I am not happy what so ever. I would not recommend buying this bike at all!

Do not buy a lexmoto by a long shot they are scammer they talk you into buying the bike pulling you in saying comes with 2 year warranty this is the second lexmoto I've had where they done me dirty with the warranty ive kept up with the warranty ive given all the evidence of service in the time frame and miles to keep the warranty yet my lxr had a water pump issue last month had it done under warranty then all a sudden my radiator started leaking I put it in for the work to be done under warranty and lexmoto declined it saying that warranty is void they are scammers they offer you the warranty but don't want to give it too you.. I'm taking them to the ombudsman as even the lexmoto garage where I take my bike to be serviced isn't happy with lexmoto as he stated that my warranty isn't void as he done every service that is required to keep the warranty but they've voided my warranty BEST ADVISE DO NOT BUY A LEXMOTO DONT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THEM THEY SHOULD BE BOYCOTTED AND SHOULD BE CLOSED DONT THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL

Do not buy a lexmoto scooter absolutely terrible, bought the bike brand new and have had it fully serviced as per lexmoto schedule, and have nothing but problems, already had a new dash that broke, its now miss firing and stalling and now the variator has gone completely, apparently this isnt even covered by warranty, its literally only 8 months old all I've had endless problems. Never ever again would I buy one

I brought a lexmoto aura 125cc 74 plate 3 weeks ago last week my seat decided it now won't open i phoned the company I brought it off for advice basically told it isn't covered by the warranty I have tried calling lexmoto to no avail won't be buying another Chinese bike again customer service a disgrace

I geniuinly hope hope who ever reads thid decideds to not get this bike and never even look at a lexmoto again...
What a complete waste of money time and energy.
Within the first 6 months i had put over the cost ot the bike into repairs....
Please never buy a chinese bike just dont do it you will thank me after.

I purchased a lexmoto xdv125 in March it was delivered in May and on first inspections I was very pleased with my purchase.But when I didn’t use the scooter for a day or two it wouldn’t start due to a flat battery I thought this was quite strange saying that the scooter was brand new.This has happened on four more accasions so the battery the scooter is supplied with is cheap and nasty or there’s something wrong with the electrical system on the scooter because the battery is not charging properly.This is very annoying because the scooter is keyless and it’s such a nightmare to get to the battery once it’s flat.(The experience date is the fifth time the battery has gone flat since it’s delivery)

Brought a new echo 50 from a dealer on 17th August 2024. After 53km bike has broke down on the same day as i purchased it. Wont start and engine management light is orange. Dealer closed till Tuesday 20th August.
£1,599 spent lasted 1 day . Hopefully dealer will.fix but not a good start with Lexmoto

I am 80 years old in December so only use a small bike now. I purchased a lexmoto zsb injection new for under 1800quid on the road. Southampton Motorcycles and scooters delivered the bike a couple of days later. I have run the bike in carefully and it is freeing up to rev freely. I rode 100 miles on Friday and it didn't miss a beat. It is light low and comfortable. The gear indicator and fuel gauge helps. For a cheap bike the quality is good. My first bike was a Panther then I had loads of bikes mainly triumph but a few cruisers in it's own way the lexmoto zsb is as much fun 😁

Nothing but problems!! Only done about 1000miles and has spent more time in the garage than I’ve spent using it since I purchased it!
Cannot find a garage that will even repair it now and dealership refusing to give me a refund. Called Lexmoto dealer several times as faults have been present since date of purchase. They don’t want to help and it’s now out of warranty so they’ve clearly washed their hands of it! Most dealerships I’ve now spoken to seem to have returned all their electric bikes so they’re clearly aware of the problems! Definitely would advise everyone to steer clear of these!

If I could give these bikes a zero star rating I would. When I was 16 I had a lexmoto echo 50 brand new, within weeks the horn had stopped working, then throttle cable snapped, then the drive belt snapped, then it developed a electrical problem causing the bulb to blow nearly every week. When taking back to the garage apparently this was a known problem with this model and year. Then the variator clutch went and needed replacing, and then the throttle cable again, the exhaust also rusted away and fell off, need I say more? This was all within 12 months of owning a brand new moped. Replaced with a Yamaha yzfr125 that was 10 years old and never had an issue. NEVER BUY ONE OF THESE BIKES THEY WILL COST MORE IN REPAIRS THAN THEY DO TO PURCHASE IN THE FIRST PLACE
