I recently moved into a Linley and Simpson rental and the experience was great. Magni, Morgan and Michelle made the process really simple, from identifying the right property, supporting during the viewing then though the application process and final process. I'm happy to recommend them.

We have had a very positive experience with Linley & Simpson in managing our rental property. Most recently, Mia Barker handled the replacement of a cooker very efficiently, keeping us well informed, obtaining alternative quotes and helping to coordinate the work through to completion. Communication throughout was clear, responsive and professional, which made the process straightforward for us as landlords. Many thanks to Mia and the team for their support.

Special thank you to Tyla at the Holmfirth branch - after plenty of phone calls it was so nice to finally meet, Tyla came to do a routine inspection on the property that I rent and was incredibly patient with me when I had to reschedule due to eye operations and such like. Have had an ongoing saga with the Ripon branch which is still unresolved . I have been with Linley and Simpson for a long time but have now changed estate agents . Miscommunication , errors on quotes , too many different people to deal with for the same issue and contractors used that are not local and who give misinformation . Will not use again.

Having to fight to get my deposit back, unsubstatiated claim against my deposit with no evidence provided. It's been almost a month and a half. This company is laughable, they are purely incapable of managing properties. We had so many issues with them during our tenancy. If you have a choice don't rent with them.

The staff at this agency go the extra mile to look after their clients.
Of particular note, Wendy Passmore and Paula Dunham made our life very easy by delivering on what they promised. Not a common experience in today’s world.

Lynley & Simpson in Harrogate have sold 2 houses for my partner and myself recently with no issues at all. They got us both a good price in very little time and were very professional and friendly in their dealings with us. Their Sales Progressors (Cal Siswick and Courteney) in York have been a massive support in terms of communicating with solicitors and other people in the chain which has made a big difference when negotiating the stressful phases of exchange and completion.

I was in contact with Lauren at the Sheffield office, who was very helpful especially as I was unable to visit the properties in person (my issue!). Smooth process and helpful move in. The property itself did need some cleaning upon move in, though that is likely more due to the nature of the house share as opposed to the agents!
