Terrible customer service.
RM delivered cables to the wrong address, despite have POD proof they insisted that I had to go to the wrong address and then go to depot. Despite online and telephone conversation with RM advised the parcel was delivered, to an incorrect address.
After 2 weeks, I finally ask to escalate and complain and miraculously they refund me.
Poorest service.
I wish they didn’t use DPD
Everything’s fine except the fact they use DPD and DPD left my parcel in an extremely by irresponsible location and I had to contact them whilst I was at work to get the driver to go back and make sure my parcel hadn’t been stolen. It was stressful but not maplins fault. Wish they didn’t use DPD though.

Nothing Good
Paid for postage, took 3 days longer than quoted. When it arrived it didn’t work. Looked like a cheap third party product placed in Maplin bag. Nothing good about this experience.

Contempt for the customers
Confusing delivery information although delivery was prompt and luckily I was around to accept it.
However, the product that I purchased a
Maplin 4 Port (1 x USB-C PD / 3 x USB-A 3.0 QC) 65W GaN USB Laptop Charger with 1.2m Cable
arrived minus any cable whatsoever and when I tried to use an existing USB-C cable it would not work at all and another cable that I bought will charge my phone but not my laptop. I have since found out that I need a USB-C PD cable and someone at the library showed me one and used it with my plug to charge my laptop.
I have advised Maplin that my plug arrived without a cable and after providing all the details they requested regarding my order and my laptop they have just decided to repeat their request for the information which they have confirmed they already have, this filibustering is clearly meant to discourage me and make me go away and so voiding them of their obligations to me.
When Maplin had physical stores like my local one on Great Portland Street in London the staff always were helpful and respectful and did not treat me with the contempt that the online staff have decided to do.
I am disgusted by the response of the person I have been corresponding with at Maplin and believe this person has no place in a customer service department.
I would go so far as to advise anyone that is considering buying from Maplin to purchase from a reputable company like John Lewis or to visit the store of a high street retailer and then you will be able to avoid spending your money only to have the headache of having to laboriously search out for a suitable cable at extra expense and time which you assumed would have bee taken care of by your decision to buy online.
I regret spending hundreds of pounds over the years when I see what this company has now become.

Searched on website easily and placed order without problem. The package of two items was delivered within the time frame expected and as it was tracked, I could easily follow its progress.
The items were: Maplin a 65W 2-Port GaN Fast USB Wall Charger which works as expected and feels a solid entity, together with a Maplin USB-C to USB-C 3.2 Gen2 100W 10Gbps Super Speed Cable which seems fine. The only comment I would make is that both items feel weighty which might be an issue when travelling.

The power bank was delivered as per the advice note, securely packaged, by the FedEx courier.
As for the actual power bank, I need more information about it and how to use it properly (I’m very much a novice with all things technical) so consequently I can’t see how it works with the heated cushion I actually bought it to use with, plus my iPhone to use it with when I have one of the many power cuts in my area. More instructions are required for numpties such as me.

Avoid. False advertising! Ordered wireless earphones, received totally different item from the one that is advertised on their website, not only design but also technical features. Just completely different stuff. Emailed their customer service with pictures and comparison- no reply at all like nothing happened.
