I did not place an order as I was going to be charged £4.50 for a small cross stitch kit to be delivered to my post code. As the reason given was that it was Highlands & Islands I presume I am being penalised for living in the north of the UK and there were no or different charges elsewhere. As the post office deliver anywhere in the UK for the same price I feel this is very discriminatory in this day & age.

Although placing the order was time consuming, finding individual threads, the items were all in stock and my order was dispatched quickly.
The items were packed in a small box inside an envelope that remained intact during delivery.

I ordered a pack of 60 DMC Coton a Broder threads, size 25. They were a great price and arrived a few days afterwards. Although I didn’t know which colours were included (all subject to availability), I received an excellent range of colours. Marie’s Cross Stitch is a great supplier that stocks quality products at great prices.

Customer service needs huge improvements. I placed an order for goods that were stated to be in stock on the website and paid for 1st Class Tracked shipping. After a week I had heard nothing so I chased the order. I was told that they were waiting for the goods to be sent to them from the supplier. What is the point in offering a First Class Tracked service if they know they don’t even have the stock?
No communication to let me know - if I hadn’t chased I would probably still be waiting. Dreadful customer service.
I have since cancelled my order and ordered from another supplier where the communication and customer service have been excellent
