I have just had two very large bay windows replaced by this company.with no complaints at all .
Two great young men was incredible.Dan and Liam they couldn’t have worked any harder and was pleasant and tidy at all times. So thanks to Dan and Liam and well done to the whole company.

The Martindales fitters
The Martindales fitters, Colin, Stewart and Jordan have just completed our window installation comprising of two bay windows and two smaller flat windows. Having had windows fitted before, we have never experienced such knowledgable, efficient and hard working window fitters. They were really polite and helpful and also very clean and tidy. There was no mess after they had finished each day and the standard of workmanship is exceptional. They managed to do the two flat windows without even disturbing any of the render, which must have been really difficult for them. Where silicon was required this was done to an exceptionally high standard and we have never seen it done so neatly. Colin, Stewart and Jordan are a credit to your company and deserve recognition for their hard work and amazing work ethic!
The quality of the windows is excellent and combining this with the quality of workmanship, speed of installation and punctuality of Colin, Stewart and Jordan makes us really pleased that we chose Martindales for our windows!

My roof on my conservatory was badly…
My roof on my conservatory was badly damaged due to golf ball sized hail stones. Martindales were employed by my insurance. They did it really quickly and the two workmen were really nice as well. Job well done. Very pleased. Many thanks.

Martindale's brilliant repairers
A hale storm made holes in our conservatory roof, through Hastings Direct. Martindale's were appointed as repairers. Their workers did a brilliant job in restoring our conservatory back to it's best. The Martindale staff worked efficiently and courteously on both occasions they were on site. Many thanks from a pair of 80 year olds

Your man Graham called to say he was on…
Your man Graham called to say he was on route with estimated arrival time. Arrived on time. Very polite, clean and tidied after. Took away old glass. Had to plane off and stain. The only criticism is the colour of putty, could have been dark brown.

Regarding the putty colour - generally regardless of the shade used, the putty would still need to be painted or stained afterwards to properly match your preferred finish (painting also protects the putty). The standard practice across the industry is for this to be organised by the homeowner or decorator once the putty has had time to completely dry out. Apologies if this was not mentioned by the fitter, we’ll ensure this is always communicated going forward.

If I could put 0 I would.
They replaced a glass panel 3 years ago the glass panel steamed up so they replaced under warranty.
When they replaced for second time I asked them to replace glass in the sliding door.
They left a wobbly glass panel, with incorrect gaskets around the glass and a sliding door that would not move!
They then failed to come out when they said they would, after their engineer came to investigate why the glass wouldn’t move and then we couldn’t close the door! They are refusing to repair the issues they caused!

Firstly, we’re sorry to see you have felt the need to leave a 1 star review.
We acknowledge that after 2.5 years, the double glazed unit we had installed into your existing patio started to condensate. Once this was brought to our attention, we swapped it for you at no extra cost, under our usual “peace of mind” guarantee. We also installed a second replacement unit for you, as a new job request.
We realise fitters were overrunning on one of the planned dates & therefore, were unable to attend. We apologised this happened & our branch manager personally visited your home the next day.
We accept that 1 of the gaskets to the patio door requires further replacement & have offered to do this for you. However, the other issues with the patio itself, including the separate gaskets in the tracks, were not part of the works we agreed to do & have not been caused by a simple glass replacement.
We are aware that you spoke with our branch manager yesterday & once you are ready to go ahead, we remain happy to fit the new gasket to your door. The other aspects are unrelated to any of the work we carried out.
