Went to the Birmingham restaurant , great service and lovely food

I was taken to the Glasgow restaurant for my birthday and found it really quite disappointing. When we arrived it was either a swinging rope chair or a table right at the door. As I'm 50 and not 5 we had to opt for the table right at the entrance so not a great start. The place was full and noisy but actually lacking in atmosphere, we had never been before but nobody asked us that nor explained the menu as a result I under ordered not realising it was one of those places you had to order multiple tiny bowls before you got anything approaching a meal but in a way I'm glad for what did arrive was actually overly salty and I only took a couple of forks and left most of the bowl.

Really awful, food arrived as and when which would work if the rice arrived first. The four of us had one dish by one. The food was luke warm mostly, just nothing special at all.
To top it off they add the Tip to the bill which I paid, I didnt think to check whether they had added this on.
Very expensive utter waste of money

I’ve visited mowgli in Leeds 2/3 times now and every experience has been exceptional! The food is amazing and not overpriced. The staff are very attentive and welcoming always having smiles on their faces and having a joke with us. The actual place itself is aesthetically pleasing and the atmosphere is just amazing!! One of my favourite Leeds restaurants. I’m always recommending to friends and family!

The meat portions in the curry was small only three small pieces and not even breast meat so will not be going again or recommending to my friends and family.
