My main issue has been the robotic responses I've received as a new account. I'm 99% certain that the 'person' responding to me is AI. I've never had a wholesaler/distributor so apathetic about trying to sell or recommend items, hopefully that just means they're doing so well that they don't need or want any new accounts. We're always on the look out for new toy/collectible items to sell and it could just be that Muddleit's items are not suited to us, but I'm sure if they had a salesperson that wanted to actually sell, they could find some items we could try out.

Firstly, you may be assured that we do not use any AI facilities to respond to customer enquiries and I can see that a member of our team has corresponded with you on a number of occasions by e-mail since your initial contact with us on March 6. The majority of those communications have been regarding a pre-order request for Pokemon TCG which we have advised it is, unfortunately, not possible to fulfil at this time. Our team member has however advised that you are free to purchase any other ranges currently in stock and has directed your attention towards a number of hot-selling trend lines, including the latest craze for maltose cube, dumplings and other fidget toys. Please accept my apologies however that so far a member of our sales team has not called for a more thorough discussion regarding your wholesale account and will ensure this is corrected at the earliest opportunity.

One Of The Best Suppliers I Have Worked With
A few months after I first opened my bricks and mortar store just over 3 years ago, I signed up for a trade account with Muddleit, and my experience has been nothing but fantastic.
My account manager, Ellie, is absolutely amazing, and I have loved speaking with her over the years.
Their website is easy to use for ordering, and even more so with pre-orders.
Ellie always let me know when my preordered stock was due to land, so I could take a look at what I would like to add to the order if it fell just short of their minimum order amount.
If Ellie was ever away, another account manager would always pick up on any orders I had due in so that I didn't miss out or have to wait longer.
Depending on when I pay for my order, it is sometimes shipped out the same day and always arrived extremally quickly and well packaged.
Minimum order amount is low and very reasonable - More than easy to achieve when you are ordering only a handful of items.
Unfortunately I'm in a position where I am no longer able to continue my business, and I will very much miss working with this company and ordering with them.
I have read the 1 star reviews, because I couldn't believe there was so many when Muddleit have been nothing but fantastic in my experience, and I'm not surprised to see that they all seem to be from people jumping on the Pokemon Card hype.
As someone who has always been able to successfully purchase Pokemon cards, and I would not class myself as a particular high spender, I think their system is perfect. Muddleit limit stock and allocate as much as they can to different business so everyone can have a little bit and, quite fairly, offer this to customers who have been with them for a while.
They are a business too, who just like us retailers, want long lasting customers, not just people who will buy 1 product while it's hot and then drop them the moment it isn't.
If you are a genuine business who specialises in trading cards, anime and cute collectables, Muddleit is perfect.
If you are looking to only grab Pokemon and abuse staff because they won't give you any, then I suggest you look elsewhere.
Thank you so much to Ellie and everyone else at Muddleit. I have enjoyed ordering from you so much, and I hope I will be able to continue with my store one day in the future and work with you again.

This company only value high spending accounts and save all the pre-orders for them, pre ordered 3 items to be told I don't spend enough money to be entitled to pre-order the items,if you let people open an account they should be treated as equal as any other account ,disgraceful ethics ,I deal with several wholesalers so I buy from whoever has the cheapest product at the time, if your suppliers dealt with you the same way you treat your small accounts you wouldn't be too happy, but you say I can buy anything else I want from you, that's probably if your big accounts do not want them? Limited supplies you say, then you should limit the amount your other accounts can buy of one product so everyone can get them like other suppliers do, but don't worry I know a few of the other accounts you have, and one has kindly told me they'll let me have them from their own orders,you go to Costco they would never limit products to you even if you'd been inactive as long as your account was still opened, because every account is equal, you can go ahead and close my account as Muddleit do not treat everyone equally as they claim which is plain to see from your reply.

Many thanks for your comments and I am sorry to hear that your recent interaction with our company has been a negative one.
Firstly, I can assure you that we do not value high-spending accounts only and have proudly served the independent trade, including many startups and sole traders, for nearly twenty years. I am confident that this is not how our sales team would have responded to your enquiry and my understanding is that you were advised it would not possible for us to supply the two Pokemon TCG releases scheduled for November.
Whilst we do not want to place any barriers to everyday trade, unfortunately the stock shortage on these particular items means that we have had to put in place certain purchasing criteria and this has been in effect from January 2025. Unfortunately, as your account has been inactive since May 2023 it would mean we are unable to offer those products to you for the moment, however this would not affect your ability to place orders for any other products we currently supply. Should the stock situation improve we shall certainly reopen these products to a wider base going forward.
Please accept my apologies for any misunderstanding of the position and should you wish to place an order for any of our other ranges or products then do call our friendly team who will be delighted to help.

Amazing company to deal with. I always keep in touch regarding lines that i require and they do special orders for me. Previous reviews of 1 star seem to be companies having issues with pokemon allocations. Yes pokemon is heavily allocated at present and this is due to increased demand and low supply from pokemon themselves. Heavily allocated pokemon lines are not just from this company but all pokemon distributors that we have dealings with. I would suggest to ignore any negative pokemon related reviews as they are just frustrated resellers who like all pokemon stores cant seem to get the stock qty that we require due to pokemon supply shortages.

You must now have over a years business with them to be allocated stock because you're guaranteed sales for them but how can I do that as a new business if they won't allocate any stock?! Im not wasting my money on stock I don't want, stock that my business doesnt specialise in, nor would it sell. It's so annoying! Now I have to look elsewhere.

Unfortunately, due to severely limited supplies of Pokemon TCG products we have taken the difficult decision earlier this year not to accept new wholesale applications specifically for this product category so that we can focus on fulfilling the requirements of our existing customer base. The amount of stock available, particularly on new sets, means that we cannot in good faith freely offer these items for purchase or take on new customers when it is not possible to meet the current demand. This requirement applies solely to Pokemon trading cards and we are continuing to operate as normal on all other product lines. Should you have interest in stocking any products which are not Pokemon TCG then we will be happy to proceed with opening your account and hope to cooperate with you soon.

Terrible service from Megan on sales. I have over £1000 on pre-order and waited 7 months (no joke) for them to get anything. When they got some stock allocated to me i was told i have a min spend of £250 but they didnt have any other items to make the order upto £250 so they cant dispaicth to me even if i paid £15 for postage. Horrible comany with bad ethics

As I am unable to see any of your account details via this profile I cannot comment specifically on the complaint or the nature of the issue with your preorders. If you would like to contact the office directly with some additional information we can investigate this for you fully and provide any further clarification. What I am able to say however is that as a very well-established wholesale distributor of toys, games, collectables, plush and trading cards with almost twenty years experience in the industry it is unfair to claim we have no "other items to make the order upto £250". We currently have over 1000 products in stock and freely available to purchase so that is clearly not the case. I can also fully vouch for the fact that all our sales team work very hard to fulfil all customer's preorder demands in what can be difficult and challenging circumstances on products which are often highly sought after and in short supply. We look forward to hearing from you with the particulars of your grievance so we can provide a more complete response.

Independent Retailer Review
As an independent retailer we can not recommend Muddleit enough. They have the best selection of ‘on trend’ products as well as core items that we always need. We are always kept up to date of what current items are selling well, along with new products that are due. A company is only ever as good as its customer service and with Muddleit their Customer service is second to none.

We have been established as a company for 18 years. I can assure you we are not fraudulent in anyway & we have our customers best interest at heart at all times.
Unfortunately, due to the agreement we have with one of our suppliers, we were unable to supply those particular items on your order, to you. You need to have a physical ‘Bricks & Mortar’ store. It does state this clearly on our website which products this applies to.
We would be more than happy to supply other products on our website.
I can assure you, you have been given your refund.. If someone orders the above mentioned items, we have a system in place to find out where these goods are to be sold. If they don’t meet the UK Bricks & Mortar stores criteria, regretfully we have to arrange a refund.
My team have contacted you via email & I also have left my contact details to try & resolve any issues, but you have not replied.
The quickest way for us to get your refund to you, is by processing the refund on our card machine. With this, we need your card details. If this isn’t convenient or you are uncomfortable with this, we can refund you through our website. It’s no problem at all, we are happy to process this in any way.
All our team, do work extremely hard to ensure that all our customers are happy. I hope this clears up any misunderstanding you may have of us as a company.
