Be careful chasing lower prices — warranty claims can be difficult.
This was my first purchase with Mwave, and I’m very disappointed. The MSI monitor I bought failed after six months. Mwave in Strathfield rejected my warranty claim, alleging physical damage.
The monitor was mounted the entire time and simply faded before going completely black. Given the after-sales experience, I would not recommend them.

Not only did they take more than a month to acknowledge they were in financial trouble, after I cancelled my order they then shipped the items I'd cancelled (I had already sourced them elsewhere) and resulted in 4 months of back-and-forth daily trying to get a refund. Do yourself a favour and avoid these thieves. The amount they refunded was less than what I paid them.

I ordered a 211 portable SSD from them on the 20th of the fifth 2025 it has been almost 2 months since I received my order and I have not been given a valid of reasonable excuse to why and I’ve only been offered $20 in compensation and free shipping on something that was meant to arrive in 1 to 3 business days. It is still not right then I’m openly considering complaining to the accc about them.

prices are very reasonable, shipping time is abhorrent, claims to ship in one to two days and its been over a week, your better off just playing the extra $10 elsewhere to get your stuff weeks earlier

Slow service and do not follow the shipping or dispatch times at all. waiting for items that are in stock and ready for dispatch in 24hours 3 weeks later.

I placed an order on the 22/07/2021 and 7 days later it's still processing. Contacted support numerous times and have been told different stories. Was also told my order had been forwarded to the warehouse with high priority on two occasions. Yet my order is yet to be sent. On the website it says 1-2 processing days, yes I can understand that due to the lockdown there may be some delays however a week gone by and my order still hasn't processed? Don't recommend ordering from here unless you're willing to wait a long time.

Ordered an Asus gaming monitor. The price was significantly cheaper than in NZ and it came faster than expected. Really happy with MWave

Ordered 4 x RAM chips from Mwave. A somewhat urgent requirement but expecting the usual 'in the post a day or 2 later' as is the case with every other online supplier.
Placed an order on 13th. Four days later order status is still "processing". No phone number to contact them. Their chat is merely a bot that can't answer anything.

The service here is terrible! You can't call them which is insane, plus, when something is shown as in stock and one orders click n collect, it can take days to get that email needed to go pick it up!

They need to revamp their customer service and allow customers to actually call them.

I ordered a monitor online at the beginning of November (it's February now).

I never received the monitor, nor a refund. I contacted customer service twice, both times was assured that the issue would be resolved.

It was not resolved. The tickets were closed and I was ignored further.

I've just raised my third customer service request.

Who knows if I'll ever get my money back? Robbery.

Faulty GPU, refusal to accept it's been faulty since I purchased it, over 2 months ago. I already have proof to show it's been repaired previously, and it has failed again.

DON'T DO IT. They say they refund/repair on their FAQs, but it's rubbish, over a week waiting and still no progress to admit my GPU isn't working the way it should be.

I recently made a purchase on their online site. they provided with second hand item that had hair inside. i made full payment however the product arrived as a used/ or tested product that was definitely not new.
reported them to accc. never again Mwave.

Anyone who leaves a review here clearly cannot read, as this is the wrong website for the Australian Retailer.

Failed to deliver goods within the specified time. (One low range GPU) $189 AUD order was cancelled. Still haven't received refund over 3 days. Avoid this site and headache, Scorptec or Austin computers are highly recommended

Multiple unclear email notifications on order status change (got 4 emails on every status change and was not clear what status means that it is ready for pickup). Return policy is confusing and misleading. Awful customer service, stay away.

They're regularly a bit slower than their claimed times on the website - which is frustrating enough that I often buy elsewhere. Otherwise - reasonable range and prices. Have successfully exchanged a faulty product.

Awful experience - sent me 2 faulty monitors and take no responsibility. Stay away, you cannot even talk to anyone as they wont take phone calls.

The only reason they get any stars is because the person on the online chat actually replied to me. I cancelled my order because it took them 4 days to do precisely nothing after taking my money. (Order processing for the entire time although their site claims that items which are in stock at Mwave process within 24hrs.) Do yourself a favour, go to Scorptech instead, slightly more expensive, but at least you know they will stick to their their word. Avoid these cowboys like the COVID!

Terrible customer service. Prices akin to other Australian online suppliers, so will not be shopping there again as there is no advantage to supporting them.
I ordered some RAM late last year, 5 days later they still had not even responded to my order or acknowledged it. I then received their latest promotional email and responded to this with a request for them to send my product. They quickly responded with a generic "your order has been processed" followed up immediately by another generic "you have been removed from the mailing list". I asked them to re-add me as i wanted to keep receiving the promos, but they ignored that email. I also tried to sign back up again and was not added. I have recently sent another email asking that they add me to the mailing list again, but it has once again been ignored. This level of pettiness and unprofessional behavior had soured my view of them and I will no longer even attempt to support this business.
