Hi, should have informed me that certain t shirts were not available before i made the order and the to find out after the bank transaction that the ones i ordered were unavailable

Ordered tee shirt on line. Prompt reply to advise out of stock in colour/size offered alternative and arrived next day. Purchased various items over the years and always excellent customer service and knowledgeable.

Denmark Street can be intimidating for an aspiring guitarist, and I always felt I wasn't good enough (or wealthy enough) to go into No Tom Guitars. In 2016 I finally screwed up my courage and walked inside. I am so glad I did. The staff couldn't have been kinder, more welcoming or more helpful. After some discussion about the music I liked to listen to and what I liked to play, they showed me a Faith Mars drop-shouldered dreadnought guitar. They were so confident that this was the right guitar for me that they only showed me this one instrument. I took a leap of faith and bought it that day, trying not to think about the money!

I am writing this in 2021, and for the last 5 years this guitar has been my most treasured possession. I've just had another wonderful, peaceful Sunday afternoon playing guitar and watching the sunlight. I still find the sound of this guitar marvellous, I think it sounds even nicer now than when I bought it. I'm grateful that the staff at No Tom understood what I needed even more than I did, and helped steer me to an instrument that will be a lifelong friend.

No Tom stock second hand guitars that can be difficult to get hold of and I was mighty please to see a MINT Gibson ES 355 Custom Shop 'Lucille' (2015) with case posted on their website. As the Denmark St. Workshop is closed due to COVID restrictions, it came straight to me by courier after I had three or four questions answered. It was made in the Memphis factory which has been closed since.

The guitar arrived and appeared to have been un-played. The frets showed no wear at all or even any shine. But what was more of a clue was that the top E and B strings were choking out on the first and second frets even with a high action.

No problem, the guitar was collected from me in person and taken to No Tom's luthier, Gerald who has a home workshop. He is very responsive to e-mail and we had a discussion about what would be the best solution. He explained that there were two things that needed fixing: the nut slots had been cut too deep and the truss-rod needed slackening off to restore the neck to the right lengthwise 'relief'. In his judgement, there was no need for a replacement nut as it could be built back up with a bone/ resin compound and re-cut. I was able to collect the guitar a few days later, in person. He offered me a chance to look it over but I was confident he had done as promised.

I got 'Lucille' home and it is an absolute joy for its tone and playability. The action is set low as I requested and it is clear that Gerald has polished the frets too.

Man... I am SO PLEASED.

You can buy used Lucilles on Reverb, some cheaper and some more expensive than the £2,995 I paid. But sellers add delivery charges and as most are not based in the UK there are worries associated with damage in transit and no post sale service.

This was a no brainer for me. I got a three year parts and labour guarantee and proof that No Tom Guitars is as good as their word.

I could not be more pleased. Five Star review for sure. Gibson don't make Lucilles any more and NONE of the current ES series has the wonderful Varitone Circuit so beloved by BB King himself.

So I'm off to my music room to find that gorgeous sound that reminds me of Southern whiskey: Both PUs on and the Varitone on Position 3.

I ordered two Tee Shirts online but they didn't have one in the colour I chose, Ron asked me if I would choose another colour or he could give me a refund, I chose another colour which wasn't a problem but as a "Thank You" Ron gave me a free Tote bag. Great shop, Great Owner.

First time I’ve used this dealership and it won’t be the last!! After a delay in postage which wasn’t caused by Tom Guitars I received my Telecaster this morning.

Well packed and double boxed I was delighted that the tele was as described, in very good condition. I have, in the past, received guitars from several different dealerships which were also described as excellent conditionally, only to find they were less than described.

Reason for dropping one star is that I asked for the Telecaster to be dressed with new strings. Unfortunately this wasn’t done and as the strings on the guitar were noticeably worn I had to order a new set on the internet.

I just wish all guitar dealers would set up the guitar properly with new strings before they send the guitar out. It always leaves a bad taste in the mouth with me that after purchasing the guitar you have to spend again to get the instrument sounding it’s best.

I've bought a couple of guitars from No Toms now and they are always spot on with customer service, lots of guitars and amps, all fantastic quality and the workshop is great too!
