Decent bookcases, good quality, and good service too as two of the three I ordered did not fit the space I had wanted to put them in and OFH were happy to swap them for smaller ones and refund the difference. Would buy here again.

I ordered tv unit, coffee tables and lamp table from this company. We received 2 of the items very promptly. The 3rd item was received at a later date but still not a big delay. We asked about some damage on the furniture, the odd very small dent here and there. After making 2 phone calls to Furniture Hut, they eventually sent somebody to sort these problems out. They rectified so much and told us they would be back at a later date. We were fed up with waiting and the dents are so small, not the worth the hassle to be honest.

Very pleased with the CD/DVD storage cabinet. Good quality at a sensible price. Delivered on time.

I have bought two items from them - the first, during covid, took many weeks to come but it did advise of this on the website if you checked. The second came really quickly and the drivers brought it all the way up the stairs to my third floor flat. Both items (bookcases) are sturdy and well made. When I needed to know the exact measurements of one of them for space was tight, I called and they had that level of knowledge about the product. When there are delays, they could be better at communicating that but otherwise, they are pretty good.

I have been waiting for 11 months for delivery of my book case. Each time i say I am going to request a refund I get told a delivery date and then nothing! I was told it was in the country in September and would be delivered in October. We are still waiting. It was to be delivered today but nothing. This is awful service and I will be asking for my money back

We bought a hall table in advance of moving home, and were a bit worried as we took 2-3 months to open the box. However it didn’t disappoint. It’s exactly as advertised and looks great.

Although a longish lead time, worth waiting for, a lovely piece of furniture at a very reasonable price. Wouldn’t hesitate to use Oak Furniture Hut again.

I ordered a Wine Rack Cabinet on 18 October 2022 with a 4 week delivery time. I followed up by phone after the 4 week delivery period had passed and was informed I would contacted soon with a delivery date. No further info/contact was received so I followed up with further phone calls. Following one call, I was advised that I would be contacted in December regarding a delivery date, nothing further was heard. After another phone call, I was advised I would have to contact them by email only going forward. I have had many emails back and forth with this company and am still being fobbed off nearly 3 months after the order was placed. I have now requested a refund and received nothing to date. I will not be placing any future orders with this company.

Update 12 January 2023. Following posting this review, I have now received a refund on my order.

The company was very helpful and the items were lovely.

Ordered display cabinet in mid-October with a 4 week delivery time. No delivery and no information. Weekly phone calls, with promises that it was out for delivery. Then received an e-mail with a delivery date of 9th December. No delivery and several promises as to why it hadn't happened and it would be due shortly and I would be contacted by the courier. Another call/mail from me to state that I'd like my money refunded. Received a credit note on 18th December, with footer stating it might take 5-10 working days. Allowing for Xmas/New Year break I should have received my money, by today.
Finally received my refund late on January 9th.
Steer clear, apart from a well presented website behind this there appears to be very little substance.

Kept well informed with delivery. Really pleased with furniture. Price competitive.

Really well made bedside tables and look absolutely stunning, took longer than I expected to arrive but were well worth the wait

Do Not Purchase From - Ordered a wardrobe in March 2022 with an 8-10 week delivery time that was never received. Complete lack of communication despite me instigating 17 e-mails, 6 calls, and 3 delivery dates given/changed. I was polite, tolerant, fair, understanding & believed every excuse- from container not docked, vessel still in English Channel, then another supplier being added into the loop so wasn’t up to them anymore, been away, supplier issues, will chase... The response on negative review comments on trustpilot was not giving me much confidence in the company, and on mentioning this the response was “you cannot judge a company based on 2% bad reviews”, on reflection this means the money those 2% have given have been in the company accounts for many months and seem an easy gamble to take their negative feedback against the more positive ones. I hope those 2% become the ones that do matter. I even believed the company when I said in November, after being promised the wardrobe was “definitely going to be delivery well before Christmas”. I had to then state, if the wardrobe wasn’t delivered by the 1st December we would need to cancel, (after 36 weeks) I then even had to e-mail the company on that date to confirm they would actually credit my account within the 7-14 days that the website stipulates. That didn’t happen either - I had to raise a dispute with my credit card company and have now been credited by my card. Never, never again. I feel incredibly let down and lesson learnt, I will buy items closer to home going forward.

27/12/22 Update - Thank you to TrustPilot for verifying all my feedback was correct after having to open an investigation. In addition, I need to add the following to my feedback. I had to stop my Christmas plans for that day and deal with this awful company. Minutes after my feedback went live, I received an abundance of calls and several aggressive e-mails basically disagreeing with the facts and threatening legal action for my feedback, ironically only focusing on the refund. Thank God for the Halifax and TrustPilot – again I strongly suggest you do not buy from this company.

I was dubious about ordering from an online only business as I like to see before I buy. I was reassured that any returns would be refunded. I am very happy with the Opus furniture, seven items in all. I had delays in delivery and had to repeatedly ask for the wooden handles which I ordered. After many emails the issues were eventually satisfactorily resolved and I received a gesture of goodwill for the delays and missed deadlines.

A nightmare from start to finish, mostly to do with poor communication regarding delivery, and I note this is something mentioned by other people . Promised delivery in 2-4 weeks. 8 weeks later no sign of any delivery despite weekly promises and time taken off work to be here for delivery. So many excuses, problems with delivery, backlog etc etc. At one point the man I spoke to even said, no one can predict the future, when I was asking a very reasonable question of could he ensure the delivery for a certain day as I was taking more time off work!!!!
Finally delivered with DHL. On opening the box it was clear to see it was the wrong furniture, wrong description and wrong colour. Arranged for DHL to pick it up which they did on Friday. Message from DHL last night unable to deliver as premises closed. Same message again this morning. No reply to any phone numbers or email. I initially gave one star but upgraded to 3 as I have just received a very prompt refund of all monies paid, thank you.

Really happy with the purchase of a small oak beside chest. Good service too!

I ordered a large tv stand from oak furniture hut in July 2022. Had to follow up for info about delivery, and due to being on holiday had to ask for a later delivery date. Waited for information on new delivery date, but never came. Phoned again and was given a new date, but tv stand didn’t arrive. Got an email straight away apologising for the fact that the delivery firm had let them down. Rearranged the date and tv stand was delivered on the day stated slightly earlier than expected, which was a bonus for us. Delivery people were lovely and took the rather heavy tv stand into my living room. Had been considering a refund because of the lack of communication, but so glad I stuck with them. TV stand is gorgeous and don’t think I would have got better quality for the price I paid. All my visitors comment on it and ask where I got it from. Would have been a 5 star review had I not had communication problems.

I ordered a display cabinet and two cupboard cabinets on 27 Aug 2022. Delivery was delayed due to dock issues, etc but finally took delivery 23 Nov. Drivers called me twice on day of delivery to confirm arrival between 3-5pm but arrived 7.30pm. I'd give the furniture quality/value a 5* but have deducted 1 star for delivery service.
