If you could rate minus stars it would be more appropriate. Samantha Bradley’s response rate is lethargic and the company’s is virtually nonexistent.
The website just goes round in loops when you try to login. They are quick to take money which then goes down in value and make it difficult to retrieve money when you are eligible to draw down your pension. Beware! The CEO is not doing a professional job and one wonders whether this is another Post Office scandal in the making?
Would any person submitting a one star review or making a complaint be interested in joining a class action lawsuit against this company?

The service I have received from Dev and his team has been second to none. We were working on a tight timetable and everything was turned around instantly. The process was handled seamlessly and professionally. I am very grateful indeed. Absolutely first class job.

Worst customer service ever
The worst customer service I've ever experienced.
Everything takes weeks, long wait, not helpful AT ALL.
AVOID this company at all costs.
At this point I wonder if it is a scam.

Terrible experience. in transferring funds, still waiting.
Terrible experience.
My employer changed pension provider and as a result I was forced to change to the new provider, Nest.
I requested back in November 2023 the transfer of my funds from Options to Nest. I'm still waiting. I have evidence by email chains from Nest to Options that Nest did send their bank details to Options.
Options denies this despite having evidences.
Next step is get legal assistance and I will request the Ombudsman help too. Please avoid Options pension fund please. Yo cannot trust at all.

Waiting months and NO response whatsoever!!
OMG how can a company get away with this! Emailed & phoned a number of times, to be told someone will get back to you, which they haven't. I have submitted a number of requests to withdraw my (small) amount of money. And I have just been ignored. Now contacting the Financial Ombudsman.

Be prepared for a LONG wait!
I see there are many one-star reviews by customers in a similar situation to mine, i.e. very slow response (if any) to emails and very slow progress on withdrawal of funds. This experience has made me take control of my own finances and not trust a third party.

Taking contributions without sending opt out paperwork
Never sent an opt out form and they started taking money. I have contacted them 3 times now but have not been given any information on opting out, so they keep taking money. THIS IS ILLEGAL OBTAINING MONEY WITHOUT HAVING A REGISTRATION NUMBER, why do we not opt in then people like this would not be able to take our money

Not a client but Super Quick Info
Not a client, but have found getting information from them to be an incredibly quick process, especially from Matthew Adams. Typically, it takes 2-4 weeks (and sometimes up to 2-4 months) to get information from a pension provider, but they managed to provide all the required information within 48hrs. I can not comment on other areas of their service, as no personal experience, but have found this to be a breath of fresh air in terms of getting client information.

Options Workplace Pensions
If you are unfortunate that the Company you work for has its Workplace Pension with this Company be warned they initially tell you that it takes 10 working days from the date they receive your documentation that you wish to cash in your Pension but realistically they then tell you it takes 10 to 12 weeks. I have received e-mails saying that they had not received certain paperwork but when challenged they have already received it. It took them a month from 14th Dec 23 to 12th Jan to give me the so called right documentation. Then out of the blue they say they need confirmation that it is me and you have to fork out for certified copies of documents. The e-mail link they send you to e-mail documents back to them does not work so you have to post back the documents. Now I cannot even access my account with them. They promise when you phone that they will mark your account as urgent but I feel this is only to appease you. In this day and age it should not take this long for them to complete this transaction. Looking at other reviews I think I shall have to take the Pensions Ombudsman Road. Just formulating my letter to the Ombudsman now.

I have been trying to get a password…
I have been trying to get a password reset for the last month somehow the MFA stopped working. I received an initial contact from their support email asking for more information then was ignored for the last 3 weeks. I have sent 3 follow-up emails. It shouldn't be this hard to do a password reset.

If I could give a negative rating I would.
I was automatically enrolled in a workplace pension with this provider - and wow, what a disappointing experience. From an incomprehensible user interface to the poor customer, the whole thing was just bad.
I’m now trying to transfer my funds out of Options to my new provider and consolidate my pot.
To date, this process has been going on for 7 MONTHS and Options are being deliberately opaque and avoidant.
@Options - Please get your house in order and allow people access to their funds to transfer out in good time.
An altogether terrible experience.

If I could give zero I would. I have been trying to get my pension pot since November. Don't reply to any correspondence, no updates. Eventually got through on phone and was told money should be with me in 2 weeks, that was in January? I've now been waiting early 4 month!
I'm 66,need and are entitled to my pension pot. Appalling lack of service from these people.

Trying to withdraw some funds ( I have a legal right to do so) constant excuses artificial delays. IT'S MY MONEY!

Dealing with Libby Grant from Options SIPP team
I dealt with Libby Grant from the Options SIPP team to enquire about a client's 25% tax free cash - lots of good communication from Libby, fast, effective and to the point. We would have ideally liked the internal sign off for the funds to be processed a lot quicker, however Libby assured us that she was working hard to make sure the team would expedite this process quickly - in the end the client managed to get his funds in a timely manner. Positive experience, would recommend Libby Grant to other financial advisers.

Pension Transfer Request from July 2023!
Advised that it would take approx 4 - 8 weeks to transfer my Options Workplace Pension into my current pension scheme - this was in July 2023 - do I need to raise this with the Pensions Ombudsman as unable to speak to anyone regarding this and emails seem to be a waste of time!

APPALLING LACK OF ANY SERVICE WHATSOEVER!
If only you could log “minus” reviews!
APPALLING SERVICE!! In fact zero service in fact! I have been trying to withdraw my pension from them for the last 16 months!!!!! Despite sending TWO lots of the same completed authorisation forms to release, no acknowledgement of when my payment will be received!!!! It’s disgusting how inefficient they are and how they just hold onto your pension investment, despite you asking for it to be released.
They take months to respond an email, dont answer the phone, just ask for same information to be re-sent to them!! Just go around in circles!
If your company is thinking of using them as your pension provider - don’t let them as doubt you will see your pension!!
