Patches is totally not write for my 80…
Patches is totally not write for my 80 year old wife who has FND and memory problems. If I am not around she will suffer rather than use it. I'm worried one day she might suffer to much and it will be the end. The surgeries response is for her to go to the surgery with her smart phone and they will help her use the app. This is no good as by the time she gets home she will have forgotten even going to the surgery. The only reason she has a smart phone is AI does it all for her but it won't interact with Patches system obviously due to privacy and security. So we are stuck

I transferred from my previous Gp due to bad services and high turnover of staff, bad practices and since being with Ashworth St I have recieved 5 star services in every team. I cannot stress how brilliant all the doctors and staff are. The receptionists are all super helpful and put my previous GP surgery to shame. They are all so helpful, understanding and will try to help you. I am absolutely so pleased I switched to Ashworth St. my health has improved significantly since being a patient with Ashworth St. this is by far one of best Surgeries in Rochdale as recommended by many of my colleagues friends in the area. Hats off to all the lovely staff here. An excellent service you are all giving! Thank you!

Blackheath Medical Practise in the best on the Wirral I joined there 2 years ago after being with another practise for 40 years. They answer the phone within minutes you always get a same day appointment and the patches system is easy to use and easy to follow
Picton medical centre at Whetley Lane…
Picton medical centre at Whetley Lane have been very understanding and shown considerable care about my illness. Doctor Awais Maqsood advice has been excellent about my health issue and I have had follow up calls from him in the last few days. I am still recovering from my illness and like to thank the surgery for their help and support. They have took urine and blood samples to find out about my illness. 5 stars. Mr Shah
Office hours only.
I thought the point of Patchs is that it's for non-urgent requests. But what's the point if it's only available during office hours. If I log in on a Saturday and it's not available. Why can't I submit my request and let someone pick it up when they're next in.
I already have the NHS and Patient Access apps. All these overlapping apps and services while other patient requirements are ignored. What a waste of money.
OMG the messagerie is so bad!
I'm surprised there are so many good reviews. Whilst I appreciate the ability to request a doctors appointment online, I find the message section clunky, confusing and quite frankly badly designed- and I work in IT! The whole 'you have three messages' business is such a good design, I've never seen any other organisation use it! Maybe it's the norm for the websites of public bodies but I find it an unpleasant experience :(

First class service - NHS get a bad wrap but not here at St Johns Wood Medical Service - Private quality care at an NHS facility. The patches system they use is excellent and whilst seeming a bit complicated at first , is the best way to contact the practice AND get a speedy respoinse

so simple fast and easy to use after coming from Mossland's medical centre in Irlam the most broken doctors surgery I have ever seen this is a breathe of fresh air.

i feel sorry for elderly people who are told they must use this system.
so many people just ring the surgery which as a log jam of calls most of the time.
its ok for people who use computers daily but many people not just the elderly do not use computers nor wish to.
Patch's is fabulous
Patch's is, as far as I'm concerned, the best thing ever for contacting a Dr.
No waiting ages on the phone and no options to listen too.
But more importantly we're contacted within a few hours.
Brilliant idea.

Would be zero if available. Absolutely shite - prevents access to your NHS app & relies on your GP being available for the service you require. Another illustration of a faceless bureaucrat believing they know best.

This has been a whole lot easier not waiting on the phone, not having to phone up bang on 8am to be first on the line. Having this service with my gp surgery has been a game changer for me
