Abbie Percival was our main point of contact throughout and made the move in process so quick and efficient, explained everything so well! My partner and I were stressed at first as this is our first time renting a place for ourselves but the process was virtually stress-free, questions and emails answered within minutes and a really friendly and approachable attitude all round. Cannot thank you guys enough for making this so smooth sailing!!

I gave them notice. They arranged viewings. They told viewers that they could take photos and videos of my home without my permission. If you can imagine that... every Tom, Dick and Harry taking pictures of your stuff and home. A month later I moved out and left the flat spotless. Spent hours cleaning, left it better than I found it. They charged me some money for 'light cleaning'. They took some photos to prove their point, but the photos were taken with a microscope. I could see tiny speckles of dust, but I could not identify the room that the photo was taken in. Fair enough, maybe there was some dust behind the radiators. I suppose I should have steam cleaned all of their carpets and walls, as well as the insides of the washing machine and the double glazed windows from the 50s. Maybe I should have painted the walls, too. But what was even more shocking is that they charged me £95 for a broken bed slat (I told them that I found it broken, because it was not visible) and for damage to a light bulb and fixture. Any damage to the light fixture was caused by their negligence when my flat was flooded from the roof. What can I say? It took them ages to release my deposit and then they tried to scare me off by telling me that the DPS adjudication process will take forever. Thankfully they did not charge me for a stainless steel clothes hanger that was slightly warped due to me hanging there my very heavy coat!

Arrived in a very dirty flat with a leak in the bathroom.
Said leak in the bathroom took months to be fixed, I reported it immediately but all they did was tell me to use the glass screen when I take a shower. Thank you Pat Robson for this precious insight, next time I need someone to explain how showers work I'll ring you. Several months later that leak started going into the neighbour's bedroom and he complained. Then they finally fixed it and of course said I hadn't warned them.
Found some of the previous tenant's underwear behind the radiator.
Flat door stopped closing after a while, took three days to fix.
Building fire alarm started ringing one night, I couldn't turn it off myself as it was on a high ceiling. Pat Robson refused to fix it in the morning and I had to wait for it to run out of battery about 24 hours later.
Front door to the building wouldn't close at one point, had to call several times to get anything done about it, apparently it's "not their responsibility because it's the building not the flat", well you should know who the other landlords are, do your job. Took way too long to get fixed. This was in December and it was snowing, the draft from the open door made my flat freezing.
Cleaned the flat thoroughly when I left but they charged me 170 pounds for cleaning.
