I'm very disappointed with my experience with Becky. I showed her a photo of exactly how I wanted my hair cut, but the result was completely different and much shorter than I asked for.

The actual haircut took around five minutes (excluding the blow-dry), which felt very rushed. During the blow-dry, my hair was pulled very roughly, and the brush repeatedly scratched my face, making the whole experience uncomfortable.

When I got home and had a proper look at my hair, I realised just how bad the cut was. I'm absolutely devastated with the result and will now have to pay another salon to try and fix it.

I expected Becky to either recreate the style I showed her or explain if it wasn't possible, rather than cutting my hair into something completely different. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this salon based on my experience.

Had a haircut booked with Ciara in Blanch Village. Couldn’t ask for nicer experience, so chatty and cut my hair exactly as I wanted. I always struggled to find someone who would manage perfect blunt bob and now I have found two hairdressers. I had 7pm appointment so it was nice and quiet in the salon too.

Yasmine is excellent. I always look forward to having my hair cut… straightaway she has vision, ideas and is passionate about what will look right and suit me (I struggle with finding the right style). We always have a nice chat and I leave happy and feeling confident. The only thing I would say is that when having my hair washed, sometimes I get a head massage and sometimes not… it would nice for it to be consistent- I really look forward to coming and the head massage is that extra treat that I really enjoy.

Made my first appt with Steven for a root regrowth - heaps of grey on show.
Good vibe in the salon and Steven was excellent. I'd previously had a Wella colour and so he had to create a new 'recipe'.
Am really impressed with the result, great colour match. Will be returning.

From the moment you step into this salon the girls on the desk are very welcoming , the shampooing is amazing the head massage is so relaxing, I got a curly blowdry from Dean he is fantastic my hair looked great and I know I will get days out of it .

Sometimes as an older person you are ignored but at Peter Mark Carlow I am treated as a human being with respect. My stylist Stacey is just so gorgeous, she listens to what I want and is very kind and courteous. The girls who put on my tint are equally lovely. Stacey gives a great head massage. Very happy to come to Peter Mark Carlow

Had lovely wash cut /blowdry today friendly staff, very clean salon .have rebooked highly recommended peter mark abbey center. You get what you pay for .

I have been a client at Peter Marks, Carlow for over twenty years. All the staff are wonderful-so professional, friendly and welcoming. Their blowdrys are terrific particularly as my hair is long and very thick so not easy to work with (thanks Paulie!) Brian does my cut and colour and I can highly recommend him also. Apart from the stylists I find all the management (Colette & Gemma) to be excellent at their jobs and consummate professionals. I couldn’t recommend Peter Marks enough.

Excellent Martina gave me a lovely good scrub while washing my hair and then a lovely head massage with the conditioner. She had no problem with all my requirements and carried out my instructions with ease. A delightful experience.
