Poor Communication
Two stars because they actually provided internet connectivity and they were cheaper than most providers.
The missing three stars is for the abysmal communication. After my initial registration, I have not been getting any correspondence and even if I do, it's somewhat random. Like a bill every other month. I had to contact customer care on multiple occassions to ask why my bill kept going up. Router assurance fees which were apparently going up each month.
Come to the end of my contract, I was not notified that it was ending, I was not notified that the prices would change. I only got a notice from my bank that I would be paying more than usual. This is illegal I believe but somehow, I'm still supposed to pay for that.

Today I used the Technical Support service at Pop Telecom and was very impressed . The response to my issue was dealt with swiftly and professionally by Josie , and I am now back where I need to be with my online account . Great customer service . Many thanks !

My problems were related to the switchover from theold landline system to the new. I carried out the relevant procedures but needed technical assistance when my landline didn't work after the switch. I was expertly helped by Alfredo L and latterly by Mark. The system is successfully switched. My thanks to both agents.
Helpful and quick
They were very helpful when my internet kept cutting out. It wasn’t a long wait on the phone to speak to an advisor- Alfred. He was very helpful and quick to look into the problem and do all the checks. The problem was actually outside of the providers remit and needed Open reach to sort something. Albert arranged this and it was done the next day. So all a good service.

Awful
Awful. Stay away.
The connection was weak and the internet dropped frequently, even though they operate on BT’s network. On top of that, their T&Cs are ridiculous.
They’ve now issued me an £80 bill for not returning the router. Apparently, you’re expected to return it at the end of the contract, but this was not clearly communicated to me at all. I’ve never dealt with a company that does this, and they only brought it up five months later, after the fact.
I had multiple issues with them throughout, and this just confirms the impression they left me with. Terrible service, poor communication, and what feels like a money grabbing approach to customers. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Mark was so helpful today and my experience of customer service at Pop Telecom has consistently been excellent.
They connected me to the Internet when I moved house, when BT left me high and dry, having given me a connection date when they just didn't turn up and said they were unable to provide an internet service in my area after all. Pop Telecom rescued me!

Great service
I was experiencing abysmal download speed while trying to update my satnav. I put in a complaint to Mark at Pop telecom and after doing the usual checks, he got Openreach to investigate. An engineer visited and concluded the fault due to ‘crosstalk’. After about 20 minutes he returned to gather his tools and I now have excellent broadband speed.
