Purchased a car for my daughter through Brandon from Powerlease. The car is superb and was delivered to me having been fully prepared. Great communication throughout the whole process, wouldn't hesitate to use again. Thanks to Brandon for arranging the sale and James for a great delivery and handover.

After just visiting powerlease for a nose around, I found myself signing a contract within 24 hours for my model y Tesla.
I'd never considered going fully electric but after hearing what they have to offer and for cost per month, it was a no brainer for me.
Brandon was the sales advisor that I dealt with.
He was professional, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the brand...it pretty much sold it to me there and then.
There's no pressure for sales because these cars literally sell themselves.
My first experience with powerlease was excellent and I'll be back in 4 years time for my next one.

This is the second dime that i buy a car from Powerlease. Both times were absolute smooth and flawless.

I rang up regarding the Tesla that i was interested in and a highly knowledgeable and helpful sales person, Oliver, assisted me. I told him about my part x, he rang me back an hour later with a offer we negotiated a little and and then settled on a price i was very happy with.

He also explained everything about the deal in great detail to me. it was 2 working days from when i rang up until i was driving off in my new car.

I highly recommend Powerlease when looking for any sort of pre owned EV. their knowledge, and struck are extremely impressive. not to mention the pick up / hand over process is smooth and quick.

It’s several weeks since I bought my car . Very pleased with the car and the service from Oliver . Text today with a minor problem with fast response organising booking it in.

Initial contact on the phone was great
Deposit payment was easy. Downhill from there really…

On turning up to collect the car alarm bells were ringing when sat in the car. (Seems to be a recurring theme with other customers) There was an overpowering smell of smoke, which as a non smoker was very off putting. When I questioned this, one of the owners Powerlease said he couldn’t smell anything and brushed it off with the offer an air freshener. The inside of the car also had finger marks on the screens and centre console and wasn’t in the condition I’d expect to see their most expensive car on the lot!! Not reaction I was looking for after I’d just handed over £50k for a car!!

There were also issues with the navigation on the car which was brushed off as a minor thing. Again, this was seen as I minor issue, but for me this should have been checked before I left to come and collect the vehicle. I would subsequently have to take the vehicle into my local Audi in 3 weeks time and wait for them to fix it. This was at the expense of my own time which again was brushed off as something of little importance.

After voicing my concerns over the overall experience i had had in the 1hr I’d spent on site, I was refunded my train fare down to collect the car. That being said, I wasn’t offered this, and I had to push for it!

One of the only positive things to come from the whole experience was Tom the sales guy. Tom was great and I genuinely think he did his best to assist as much as he could.

To top it off, after 5 weeks of having the car one of the AC controls has broken and I am unable to turn the temp down properly - not ideal in a heatwave. After consulting Powerlease they said I would have to bring it back to them. This isn’t ideal when you live 3hrs away! Their ‘Bring back to garage warranty’ isn’t really worth the paper it is written on if you live more than 30mins drive away and thus, not fit for purpose. Food for thought I suppose, lesson learnt on my part.

All in all, for something that should have been an exciting, enjoyable experience it really wasn’t unfortunately. In reality it turned into a bit of a damp squib. I have actually had better, experiences buying second hand vans for my own business if I’m being totally honest - sad really. disappointed in the overall experience with Powerlease.

FRAUD, DO NOT BUY A CAR WITH THEM, THEY SOLD ME A FAULTY CAR AND THE WARRENTY THAT CAME WITH THE CAR DOES NOT COVER THE PART! I WANT MY WARRENTY MONEY BACK. BUNCH OF SCAMMERS. ALSO THEY ARE SELLING FINANCE POLICES TO TAXI PEOPLE WHO THE FINANCE PRODUCTS DO NOT COVER

Bought a Nissan Leaf and Ollie from sales did a good job handing over. The only thing I think they should have told me before I made my trip up to see them way that there was no second key (something I always expect to receive). So it cost me £185to get another one made up.
The car started to click after a few days and I had the Nissan garage diagnose it as "stick/slip" on the two drive shafts which is very common on Leafs. The Nissan bill was £490 and Craig from Powerlease offered £200 towards it. I thought this was OK given that no car is perfect - pleased we came to an arrangement that means if I didn't have to take the car back up to Bedford. Overall, these guys are trustworthy and on the whole professional. Don't forget to ask about 2 keys!

I visited Powerlease to view Tesla cars and Oliver came out and explained the Tesla to me. I ended up test driving and buying the car. The service from start to finish has been fabulous. The car was presented spotlessly and any future help I could need was gladly offered. I’m really pleased with my car.

I liked the sales team who helped me to buy the car remotely. I had it delivered and the delivery driver took the time to explain some basics, as it was my first EV and a Tesla. I queried the tread depth discrepancy sensor light but was told the tyres were above the legal limit. Later, I subsequently looked at the manual and it said if the tire tread difference between the front and rear is greater than 1.5 mm, then the tyres should be rotated, so my question is why weren't the tyres rotated before delivery? The cabin air filter also needs replacing, as do the wiper blades. Within a week or so, the front left tyre pressure kept going down. Have had it checked. The tyre is fine but the wheel valve sensor needs replacing. All of this is going to cost £350 to put right at Tesla, so I feel that the absolute minimum was done to prepare the car. When I consider that the car doesn't come with enhanced autopilot, now I'm questioning not having bought the car directly from Tesla.

I bought a 4 year old Tesla from Powerlease and absolutely love it.
Powerlease were very easy to buy from. I paid the fee to reserve the car and next day, Oliver called to confirm how I would pay the balance. Warranty options were explained and I was allowed to choose the option that I preferred.
This was truly a no pressure sales experience - it doesn’t need to be because the cars sell themselves.
When I collected the car, it was fully charged ready to drive home. As this was my first EV, Oliver took the time to explain the controls before leaving me alone for 5 minutes to check the car over.
Oliver transferred ownership of the car for me and set my phone up with the car, ready to drive away.
The only thing that I have done in the week since purchase is change the cabin filter and regas the air conditioning ready for summer.

After finding Powerlease, I contacted and spoke with Laura who gave me a clear overview of what was available to me car-wise, and the process / next steps. Purchasing a car remotely can seem daunting but Laura put my mind at ease, sent me all relevant paperwork, kept me updated every step of the way and made the entire process seamless.
I arrived on-site to collect the car which had been deep-cleaned and checked over ready for my collection. The paperwork was easy to complete and they made me feel very welcome whilst the finance went through.

I'd highly recommend and will definitely be using them again in the future.

For our first steps into
owning an electric vehicle we couldn't have chosen a better company. From test driving to considering range etc we were helped with our decision making.
If you're considering purchasing an EV I would highly recommend Powerlease.

The real feel of customer experience is when things do not go right. I bought a car from Powerlease and due to a misunderstanding one aspect of the must have from me was missing from the vehicle. I raised the issue with Craig Ambler and with a little of to and fro he agreed to my solution to resolve the issue. I admire the flexibility shown by him which he need not have shown. I would have given a 5 star rating since I still feel the matter should have been told to me when I bought the car but at the end of the day I was happy with the purchase and so far there have been no issues

Overall responses to messages were quick and the price of the car was fair.
Buying process
Videos and photos supplied were of poor quality, especially as a distance purchaser, requested 2 videos as the car was not valeted on first video.
Advertising about vehicle tax changes was a little misleading as after month end the cars that hadn’t sold were still advertised with a free year of vehicle tax.
Would have been nice to have the original OME charge lead , Powerlease did supply a 3 point as requested, but I have purchased a type 2 lead as well, would have been nice to get both even if you had to pay for one.
Paid for delivery, car arrived with a cover of dust from the yard (near train tracks) and some heavy polish buffing marks on the door and wing. Response was as distance buyer you can return the car. Whist I understand this point, it would have better to just have the car delivered in cleaner condition. First job I had to do was to wash car to establish condition.

DO NOT TAKE WARRANTIES FROM THEM IS SCAM.
Bought tesla recently, and it stop charging properly, seat sensor issue. Warranty denied claims , don’t get in to trap getting this warranty.

My last email to powerlease was what do we do now , because I wasnt sure how to deal with this. And … I was completely ignored.

Dealership itself might be okay , but you have to read all terms and conditions. Its my fault I didn’t.

From start to one month into ownership has been really good.
You only know how good a company is when something goes wrong and when I recently bought a Volvo xc40 I had a problem after a week of ownership.
They took it back and got it repaired quickly, then a second issue was dealt with quickly.
Do can’t fault them 5 stars.
