First time I’ve used Protyre. Staff were very friendly and efficient will definitely use again.

Friendly and helpful team

Fast and friendly service. We had a nasty surprise on Saturday when we pulled into a parking area before going for lunch. At that point we realised that we had a flat. It was late in the day, but we phoned the Pro tyre team who were very helpful and agreed to fix it despite being fully booked. Really grateful for their fast and friendly help!

I am an engineer by trade and know a fair amount about cars,as in I have just done a lot of welding on my car also put front shock absorbers,front inner tie rods plus loads of other work,when I asked the company to do my tracking I was told it would be 61 pounds, I watched the guy adjust my front tie rods which are new so no problem,he then went to the rear of the car went to find a socket to adjust the rear then wd 40 .he then came to me and said he couldn't adjust the rear as he might snap the bolts although he did not try. I was then charged 61 pounds which I questioned as to my way of thinking he had only done half of the job. I use to use this place when it was black boots and it was really good. However I won't be using them again.

Immediately understood and dealt with my request and tyres were replaced on the same day.

They were very helpful with a complex tyre problem. They were very flexible and solved the problem well.

I recently used Protyres (Black Boots I know them as) Chesham, to get the tracking checked on my Volvo 4x4. The Hunter laser equipment they use is one of the best available, and all 4 wheels needed readjustment after another tyre shop (JustTyres Amersham) were supposed to have adjusted them (they didn't know what they were doing hence why I got it rechecked). Nice friendly helpful customer service all for £90.

The 3 stars are for the tyre replacement which I have no complaints about. I had had to get a friend to remove the original wheel and put on the spare from the well in the boot, because I simply wasn't strong enough. Protyre simply threw the spare into the boot rather than replacing it in the well, which I would have thought was good service. They obviously don't go the extra mile. Also, I discovered I could have got the job done for £25 cheaper elsewhere, which is where I will go next time.

In 2024 when I went to protyre the damagaed my alloy wheel, the technician lied about it but eventually admitted fault. This year I ordered my tyres two days in advance, turned up and they had no tyres to fit and no substitute. Didn't bother to phone me to tell me not to come therefore wasting my afternoon. Avoid this company

I booked my car in to look at a very slow puncture, not expecting how those things are normally dealt with, and fearing I might be advised to get a new tyre.
The operative was extremely polite and informative and within 10 minutes showed me there was air leaking from the valve and a little from the seal around the rim.
He told me what he could do to fix it and remedied both problems within 20 minutes at an extremely reasonable price.

They were fast and honest, Luke was great.

I visited pro tyre very last minute on a Saturday and they were able to repair my tyre. Thank you to luke and the team for helping!

needed two new tyres for my Volvo, i had booked them a day earlier than i thought. Luke said if i come back in 2 hrs he would fit them for me at no extra cost.
