BUYER BEWARE Advertising Shoes That Are Not Available
I was so excited to receive my embroidered loafers because they looked absolutely gorgeous on the website. When they arrived, I opened the package and could not believe the disappointment. The colors I ordered — beautiful green, pink, and beige tones — were nowhere in the package. Instead, I received two dark brown pairs and one hideously dark purple pair that I never ordered.
I immediately contacted customer service and provided everything requested: photos of the loafers I received, my order confirmation, and proof of payment. Since then, I have been repeatedly contacted by Quantassey customer service via email. In the emails there is clear acknowledgment that the mistake is on their end. Yet instead of correcting the order or issuing a proper refund, they continue trying to pressure me into keeping items I did not order while offering only a 30% refund, as though they are doing me a favor.
What makes this even more concerning is that they claimed the colors and size I ordered are “out of stock,” while those exact colors and sizes are still actively being advertised and sold on their website. That is an extremely questionable business practice. If the items are unavailable, they should not still be listed for sale.
At this point, the constant back-and-forth emails feel like a deliberate attempt to wear me down into accepting an unfair resolution. I will continue pushing for a full refund because I did not receive what I paid for.
Bottom line: do not be fooled by the beautiful photos on the website. I strongly recommend that you DO NOT do business with Quantassey. There is a very real chance you will not receive the products you ordered and could end up stuck with unwanted items and little to no refund.
