Overpriced with poor price signage

Their meat section is massively overpriced and I haven't bought a single dinner meat there in the last couple years. I buy my basic groceries at Superstore then go to Save-On for my meats because they're almost half the price of Superstore. Superstore charges about $38 for 1.4kg of chicken breast which I get from Save-On for $22 (or less if there's a sale -which there often is). How Superstore gets away with overcharging is beyond me. Isn't there supposed to be consumer protections in place for this?!!
Another issue is their pricing scheme. They have multiple buy 2 or 3 for a specific amount but will place random unrelated items where those pricing labels are. Their cereal is buy 3 for $9 but they'll have one type not included placed directly in the middle of the deal cereals with the same buy 3 sticker, but because it's $0.30 nore expensive you have to buy 3 of that exact flavor or price. All the buy 3 for $9 cereals don't correlate with each other. It's a scam to charge you more by hoping you don't notice and giving you a lame excuse if you do. Pricing in Canada is supposed to be clearly defined. CHECk YOUR RECEIPT!!

Disgruntled senior disabled person.

Actually,I never even shopped.The reason being was once I got in the store,there wasn’t one single cart available for me to do my shopping in the store.When I inquired to a staff as to why that was.She informed me that the person who was in charge of bringing in the carts hadn’t come in that day.So,I asked why no body else had brought them in.
So she told me to go to customer service,which was a few meters away.But because of my physical limitations and other health issues,I said “I don’t need to shop that bad” and I walked out and finally went back after 2 weeks.
Being disabled and a senior,I expect much better service.

Was denied earned points due to a…

Was denied earned points due to a breech on my account and the app would not allow me to sign in while at the store. None of this was my fault, but dealing with their "customer service" is never helpful. I suggest they correct how they handle inquiry complaints and do better.

Your BBQ Rotisserie chickens used to be…

Your BBQ Rotisserie chickens used to be one of the Best! So what happened to your bbq chickens on rochdale blvd regina they now have a distinct spice to them . Hoping they go back to the way they were . They used to be excellent! Now I really hesitate to buy one , the drive to Costco , Safeway ,or sobeyes is worth it!

I was shopping at Superstore this…

I was shopping at Superstore this morning , a female staff at fish section taped on my arm and said that you touched it (a packaged of fish), you must buy, then laughed loudly. She treated it like a joke, but she should not touch me physically. It was not polite to touch customer and joke for her own happiness. Her behaviour impressed me weird and I can’t believe the staff has such attitude. I do not want to see her again at Real Canadian Superstore located Langford Parkway.

In a time when Canada is supposed to be…

In a time when Canada is supposed to be standing strong and buying our own products, I have noticed that Real Canadian Superstore keeps trying to sell us grown in USA product. I would rather buy from Mexico, South America, Africa or Europe than a country which is set on destroying world economies. In my most recent shop, I came across oranges from Israel. We should not be supporting two countries promoting war without just cause.

I ordered an online order to be picked…

I ordered an online order to be picked up at 8:30 PM. I sent my son. He stayed there till 935. I called superstore customer service and they said so sorry it’s in our warehouse of which I know they don’t have a warehouse and said well, we can cancel your order. I was absolutely livid after I spent an hour online shopping and making arrangements for a pick up for them to say oh so sorry I will never ever order online from superstore again, absolute bullshit.

Schedule an online pickup for today…

Schedule an online pickup for today March 26th between 9am and 10am.
It is now 10.50am and my order
Has not been placed or delivered.

Called customer service.
They were not really helpful
And wanted to give me another window pickup time.

I had to cxl my other appointments since I am still waiting for my delivery.

Customer service should be better trained and understand why we are frustrated with the online service.

Other times; grocery are not fresh. You also get items that have expired. Or expiring on two days

Superstore Delivery Stolen, Abusive Delivery Guy

What the F is wrong with the people who work for Superstore? Where do I start? First off the chat is terrible & useless most of the time. Yesterday I was waiting for 3 items, yup only THREE items. 45 minutes late the shopper begins to start my order. (I ordered a day prior). The delivery guy messages me to let me know. I tell him I gotta be at work. Right off the bat I know its gonna be another bad experience like many other times. How can this company hire people to do a simple job and they can't even do it. Oh yeah we know, cheap labor. So my order is late and I'm late for work. As I just finished my shower I hear about 10 huge bangs on my front door and I'm like wtf who bangs like that! So I open a window because I'm not gonna answer a door with someone being aggressive. I tell the guy to just drop it off. He starts yelling at me! The delivery guy was super aggressive and abusive. I have a video camera but apparently these guys think they invincible. So after he leaves (I'm in my robe) I go out to get my food, but there is NO food! The delivery guy took my food! I call superstore support and well they had zero communication skills and kept on saying they know how I feel wtf. You don't know how I feel first off. I did get a resend but it was very difficult to get. I am getting tired of these non locals coming here taking jobs that belong to locals, stealing out food, abusing us and thinking its ok to do. What kind of dump of a country has Canada turned into!

Beware the "In Store" Prepared Food

I have a close friend who was working at Superstore. She is a conscientious worker. After being hired, they kept telling her to hurry up, you are doing work wrong and too slowly.
She received little to no training and had her responsibilities increased.
The main reason she was slower than they wanted was the fact that she understood the importance of "Food Prep Cleaning" and would continuously clean the prep table as they would transition from preping raw chichen to go on the rotisserie to preparing in store packaged meals.
All the other workers would just switch from one prep to another with no cleaning. She would also change disposable gloves often to ensure there was no cross contamination.
They even went as far as to hide the disposable gloves from her stating, " You are using too many".
I will not shop for "In Store Prepared Foods" from Superstore. It would be like playing Russian Roulette, not all the food will make you sick, but sooner or later there will be a bullet in the chamber.

These a-holes prefer to throw food in the garbage over feeding your family with near expired, almost unsafe food because you are desperate for nutrition.

Pulled pork buns hard as rock

Pulled pork buns hard as rock, Chicken Alferdo smelt horrible and fruit trays always is full of fruit that is going bad plus not ripened and you continue to raise the prices for shit...literally everything that is made there is absolutely gross and im so tired of paying just for sauce and less product maybe thats why all sauces are so damn expensive...bye superstore,i rather pay the price at Costco as you do get what you pay for there!!

Simply the Best

It was my first time visiting the location in Vancouver and I was indeed impressed even with such a high volume of customers the clerks and cashiers still managed to greet with smile and have small talk relevant to our shopping experience,Even at Christmas time!! The store was well maintained clean and efficient for such a large volume of people I was greatly impressed by far!! This store besides the Prince George location is simply the best so far!! Thank you for the good experience which is rare nowadays for a large store

Hooped again by RCSS ;iD

I take the time to write out specific delivery instructions as there 5 door you can enter at my building , But only 1 with intercom, its a seniors block so many cant get around great any more. So on this delivery i get call not from intercom instantly i know there is a issue . long story short "uber delivery driver is given 0 instructions , this guy went to 3 doors(thanks to Uber guy ) to find the only one with a intercom so i can let him in ! RCSS is a joke , i certainly woud consider Instacart but cost are insane . i wont use them again , but my 95 yr old Mother must have grocerys delivered, luckily a local grocer here still has actual human taking order , What a novel idea ! rofl , i gladly pay them more to avoid RCSS

Unfortunately gone downhill this store is a FOOD industry yet they have people who work there who literally bathe in cologne/perfume when you are near them the smell is so foul the last thing you want to do is be in there plus they should have their staff following the same rules as offices No scent rule

Consistently slow

Consistently slow when bringing groceries out. Not sure how to rate Abbotsford, BC store directly but it takes about 10 minutes for them to walk up and down that ramp!! You can't check in when you're on the way to the store so it's another delay. Just shop Walmart, they have a large order in the back of your car within 5 minutes of pulling up.

Failed to deliver the product

Failed to deliver the product; contacted customer service and received an automated response stating they were unable to resolve the issue. I was home all day, no doorbell ring, no phone call of cant find your place, no proof of delivery photo. I did not receive the product, and no attempt at delivery was made; they charged me the full amount and customer service did jack shit. I am disputing it with the credit card company now. I would never recommend using them; the customer service is the worst I have ever experienced.

Refused to place a $900 grocery order

Spent 1.5 hours entering a $900 grocery pickup order for a mens ski trip in BC. Their website wouldn't process it "there's a problem with your method of payment".

Called the bank, and confirmed it wasn't getting blocked blocked, the card was valid.

Called RCS Ecom customer service, and got a lot of "sorry" and "nothing we can do but escalate and someone will get back to you in 48 hours".

I need groceries this afternoon, I told them... more 'sorry's', no solution.

It's the middle of a working Wednesday EST, why can't I speak to someone now? "Sorry"

Can I speak to your supervisor? "Sorry.

Ended up having to spend 2 further hours of my vacation physically shopping (somewhere else obviously).

The escalation person called the next day while I was on a ski lift asking me for screenshots and information we had already provided and would have been in the ticket already - I told them it was too late, and they lost the business.

Conclusion: If the RCS website doesn't work, give up. The humans and support process behind it are useless.
