Spoiled fish, shrimp and turkey
Spoiled fish and shrimp purchased in February, as well as spoiled turkey bought last Sunday, all caused strong food poisoning reactions. I became sick after consuming each of these products. I no longer feel confident purchasing “fresh” products from this store. (No Frills Cedarbrae mall)
Rude and unhelpful staff

I would like to complain about your…oatmeal raisin cookies
I would like to complain about your oatmeal raisin cookies. They used to be my favourite because they were light and soft and delicious but now they are dark and hard and no good. Tim Hortons has you beat now. I’d rather have one there than six of yours. Please get a different baker. I miss them.

Students are banned?
The store in Edmonton (Alberta) over on 114st and 40 Ave banned students from entering the store since there are two high schools a few blocks away, one has regular halfdays while one does not. School hours from what I understand is opening to 4PM, and you're considered a student if you "look like one" (employee's words). I understand that shoplifting is a problem, but I also have multiple friends that use that specific store to grocery shop for their parents after school on the regular half-days who can't anymore because they're seen as potential thieves. Please understand that not all teenagers you interact with are trying to steal your merchandise and are just trying to help out their families.
Assaulting, hostile behaviour of staff.
No frills Staff (a cashier working a checkout line one over from the one i was in) -walked out of their 'cubicle' and slammed me from behind into the checkout conveyor that i was packing my groceries at. I was shocked to be hit! As a senior, with my 91 yr old mom with me it was an outright assault. Save yourself the risk of harm - I'd recommend staying away from No Frills (No Manners, No Cares) in Winnipeg.
The cashier Tanya Aubin was nothing but…
The cashier Tanya Aubin was nothing but helpful & friendly .Tanya works at the No Frills store in Summerside Pei
Will go to her every time I shop there
Not enough room to bag your items, no help from staff
Prices for a lot of things aren't better, produce and meat are not good quality. If you are alone and have a significant amount of purchase they don't help you, there isn't room for customers behind you so they are upset because while you're packing you are in their way!! While the male cashier stands and watches you pack. Also only one lane open I will never go back!
Amazing service
Amazing service, shoutout to employee cris and nick for their amazing work. Would love to work their with those two amazing g young gentlemen.
Miserable cashier
Cornwall, Visiting from out of town and stopped in for a few things. The store is the example other NF's should follow. Very clean, produce section excellent. A good shopping experience. But, check out was different. The cashier obviously hated her job. Not a word, a greeting or a smile. My wife commented on how fast she was as she shoved groceries down the belt. After we paid for the order she turned around with her back to us. I commented to my wife "she may be fast but she's not friendly". The cashier turned to me and said "you expect me to be friendly.?"

Unprofessinal service from NoFrills
No frills employees in Victoria, British Columbia are lack of knowledge about their company. The campaign for the "Collect and Save BIG" is a disaster. They made us collect all the stamps needed to buy products. After we went to the store to pick up, one of their employees told us "Oh, you need to order those things online not in store". We checked but could not find anywhere to put our stamps and order. Went back to store and the employees were like "Who told you that, you will need to buy them here". As expected, there was no stock for my desired item to pick up. No body helped me about my problem. The employees do not have name tags, even the manager! Plus their security was on my neck like I am going to do something to them, even though I was polite who else would not be in my situation. REALLY UNPROFESSIONAL.
My PC Mastercard was recently upgraded…
My PC Mastercard was recently upgraded to their highest one, the PC Insiders World Elite Mastercard. And a perk of that card is the PC Express Pass was included. Well duh... that card actually has a yearly $120 fee and the PC Express Pass paid yearly is $120/yr. It makes me wonder why anyone before they added the PC Express Pass bonus in January 2025 why would people even pay $120 on that credit card? There was no bonus I could see worth it. Considering at a $120 fee, whatever they promised we were actually paying for it... so no. Not really a bonus because we're actually paying for it.
I was never told there was a fee at the time they auto upgraded me. When I logged in, it simply said, "You've been pre-approved to receive our newest PC Insiders World Elite Mastercard upgrade". There was no fine print, not terms or options. So I clicked and a minute or two later it claimed my new card was in the mail and temporary I could only shop online instead of instore until the new card came. Fine I'll place a delivery order.
That was last year January. So I've been using it weekly now to do my grocery shopping. No more lugging a heavy cart in the rain, wind, heat and snow. The downside is the delivery driver who delivers our orders to us is 100% of the time the shopper who picks our orders.
They rely on UberEATS, DoorDash and InstaCart drivers and other affiliated 3rd parties to fill these order. Most of those drivers don't even shop for themselves. Their wives do it. So I've been getting less than stellar quality. The rare time I get a good driver who actually sends me texts with snaps of a shelf of products I can select from if the one I ordered is out of stock.
The odd time even though the driver sent snaps claiming an item was out of stock... in their photo at the top of the rack I could clearly see the item I wanted but they were blind and claimed they could not find it.
On a bonus side sort of, I can use my PC points to pay for the $120 yearly fee. I have over 4M points banked. I was saving them for my retirement because I know at current prices, by the time I do retire, things will be a lot more expensive.
The other day I was physically in the No Frills store shopping when I noticed a PC staff member wheeling a cart with 6 grey shipping baskets stack on top and bottom of the utility cart. I saw the girl check a mobile APP and then went to the shelf to find the item and deposit it into one of the 6 grey boxes. A new service? Of all my 50+ orders to date, each one was shopped for and packed by 3rd party affiliated shoppers. Yet this black T-shirt wearing staff member was clearly shopping.
I asked her what service was she doing and she said, PC Express Pass for Elite Mastercard holders. Well I am now a PC Insiders World Elite Mastercard holder. Their highest card available, yet I don't get a personal shopper from the staff, I got bozos from 3rd party affiliates who don't know how to actually shop for groceries... sorry I seem to be going off topic.
this is for No Frills in Huntington
this is for No Frills in Huntington , it is a new store and smaller than most NO Frills but it

up
one thing I dont like is the carts outside but I can understand why as no room for them inside
When at the cashier it was like I was pressured to just throw my groceries in the bag and go. I have a certain way of packing.
When at the cashier it was like she was in a race and started running my groceries thru when the person in front of hadn't finished packing there groceries. I mentioned to her that it's not a race to see how fast you can ring groceries through. And she just laughed and carried on. Then when I'm packing my my groceries she again started running the next person through.i thought how rude can a person get. NO FRILLS IS NOW OFF MY PLACES OF SHOPPING. Cashier was a joke
My review is about a broken sound system that plays music. …
My review is about one particular problem that the employees and customers would love to be fixed. As you know, in most stars, there’s background music that’s played for more than one reason. The fact that this sound system has been neglected and was poor at best and now has not worked at all since last summer is ridiculous. This should be a quick fix and I think during this Christmas season people would’ve enjoyed that little bit of Christmas spirit background music being played. Never mind the rest of the year. I hope they can get it fixed soon because several months is unacceptable.
Deceiving Customers
Although NoFrills is considered as a budget store, It was shocking today to find the curly parsley punch ( a very tiny punch ) is $ 2.49. I never saw this price for a small punch of parsley. The highest price I know is $ 1.99. I visited another two competitors and the pricy was 1.79 in one and 1.99 in another.
I don't understand their policy. They are treating customers as idiots and don't check the prices. It is stupid NoFrills
I shopped at no frill
I shopped at no frill, the staff was working there is really rude to instacart shoppers.
They are not patient and discriminated shoppers who work for instacart.
Worst grocery store around!
Was excited to find out that Pat & Mallory’s No Frills was opening a store in Waterloo. Then I started shopping there. The absolute worst grocery store ever. Mislabeled produce items as to country of origin, produce rotting on the counters, sold out of ad products the day the ad breaks, many shelf items out of stock, staff that have no clue where products are. Had an issue a few months ago twice, filled in the customer survey on the cash receipt & at the end of the survey it asks “do you want to be contacted”, answered yes, nobody ever got back to me. Going to stick with Freshco & food basics. No more money going to Loblaws!
