Think twice before ordering! I had to relocate 2 of my products within a range of 300m in Kolkata. The labor charges were NOT mentioned in the service, they promote it as free relocation! The labor said they'll charge 200rs per floor per product (which went up to 2800!!!) and that's not even my monthly rent!!. Nothing was mentioned on the invoice! Customer service said that is not rentomojo charge and disconnected the call! Whatever price you see on the app is only of the product! Hidden charges are there, without clear mentioning.

The company is trapping customers by saying one month deposit and rental monthly. They collect the deposit first. At the time of KYC they ask for 6 months bank statement(which customers may not feel comfortable due to so many spams) or ask for full rent. If not provided, they fail the KYC and say will refund deposit in 7 days. Why are they taking deposit before KYC is completed. Why should customer wait for one week. I think this is a classic case of baiting
Horrible Customer Support and Zero Accountability
I’ve used Rentomojo for a while, but my recent experience during closure was a nightmare. Their customer support is practically non-existent — no working phone number, emails that take 48+ hours to get a reply, and a chatbot that only forwards messages to an “operations team” that never actually responds.
I booked a pickup more than six days in advance. First, they said it could happen anytime during the day. Then, they changed it to a 6–8 PM slot, despite me clearly informing them that my society doesn’t allow pickups after 6. No one turned up — and then I got a call from their delivery partner at 11 PM, when I was already in the middle of moving cities late at night and preparing for an early flight.
Now, instead of acknowledging their failure, their team keeps calling to reschedule. I’ve told them to email me — I’ll respond in the same relaxed 48-hour timeline they seem to think is acceptable.
Rentomojo seriously needs to fix its customer service and operations before causing more stress for paying customers. Proceed with caution.

Worst Customer Experience Ever: Completely Unprofessional Service
I had placed an order for a bed and an RO system, and what followed was an absolute nightmare.
The bed was delivered with mismatched parts, and when I raised the issue, the replacement delivery the next day again had wrong components. To make matters worse, there was no delivery at all on the following day.
The RO system that arrived was missing several parts as well. For the last three days, I’ve been trying to contact customer service, but no one answers, no one calls back, and even the chatbox is completely useless, all automated responses and no real help.
This kind of negligence and lack of accountability is nothing short of harassment. I’ve now asked for the entire order to be cancelled, the products to be taken back from my home, and my deposit refunded immediately.
I would strongly advise everyone to stay away from this company unless they want to go through the same frustration and waste of time. Absolutely pathetic experience from start to finish.

I had an absolutely horrendous experience with Rentomojo, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. What started as a simple rental for an AC turned into a nightmare of incompetence, delays, and unfair billing practices.
First off, they delivered a completely non-working AC unit. It stopped working three times right after the day of installation – talk about poor quality control! When their technician finally showed up to “fix” it, they tried using a lighter of all things. A lighter! That’s not professional repair; that’s a fire hazard waiting to happen.
We reported the issue the very next day after installation and begged them to send someone ASAP, but it took them a full three days to bother dispatching staff. In the meantime, we were left sweating in the heat with no relief.
To make matters worse, their installation team arrived without the proper equipment, so we had to hire our own people to get the job done. That cost us an extra 3K out of pocket. When we asked Rentomojo to reimburse the installation charges, they refused and just “adjusted” it into our rent amount – as if that makes it okay.
And the billing issues? Unbelievable. They never refunded our security deposit of 10K, despite repeated follow-ups. Then, out of nowhere, they tacked on an extra month’s rent, ballooning our bill to 19K. No explanation, no transparency – just pure greed.
Overall, Rentomojo’s service is unreliable, their staff is unprepared, and their customer support is non-existent. Save yourself the headache and go with a reputable company. 1/5 stars – stay away!

One of the most stressful experiences I have ever had. Nothing goes smoothly with these people. Not the delivery, or replacement, nor the pickup. The worst service ever.

Absolutely horrendous service. No response from the service team. The logistics team basically operates without supervision and on their own convenience. Andy pick up or drop date with 100% accuracy NEVER be on time. Things are rescheduled for the company people and logistics convenience, as if you are not the one paying them money for YOUR convenience. Absolutely pathetic. Pay a little more and go for Furlenco or other services which, little more costly, delivery exactly what they claim to sell

If you are choosing the app, thinking about the that services such as relocation closure will be smooth, it will not be the case you may end up relocating to unfurnished house and sleeping at floor.

It took a whole month for a technician to crawl out here yesterday! He tinkered with a nut and bolt, declared my washing machine magically fixed, and then refused to even SEE if it could actually WASH CLOTHES! No time for that, apparently! Just wanted his damn tip and bolted out the door.
Guess what? It STILL doesn't work! This thing hasn't spun a single cycle since I started paying for this JUNK service. I'm basically RENTING A DIRTY CLOTHES HAMPER at this point! Replace this useless machine NOW, cancel my subscription, and give me a full refund. This is a complete rip-off!

One of worst company on the planet earth. Do not order anything from Rentomojo if you want to live peacefully. Ordered Dishwasher on 13th April, delivered to me on 19th Apr, received call on 26th Apr for scheduling installation. Installation has been scheduled on 8th May but no one turned up, again they rescheduled to 17th May. Technician will come on his own time and we have to take leave to our office to get it done. Finally, technician will come just insert the plug in socket. They don't install taps , nothing. worst technicians and worst staff. Rude customer support

I wouldn’t recommend anyone to use this company service vice absolutely unprofessional, if u want to loose ur money best place to go , I waited for two weeks booked a two ton ac got it modified to 1 ton ac as it was out of stock made me wait till delivery date and lied to me saying product is defective I cancelled ordered booked another ac again and again contacted customer support told me same lie product is defective , and made me wait , few days until I questioned where my product was after paying, you then told the ac was out of stock, then made me pay and book again for the second time, after which again in a few days I called and you informed that the ac was unavailable again and modified my order to a different ac while promising me it would be delivered on the date I had requested, even after this you guys did what you wanted and it got delivered 4 days later. Which I was very upset about because I have to take a leave from my job and stay so you guys can come when you feel like it. And now when the ac has to be installed, on the 5th April, the urban company installer was supposed to come and he called and informed me that you guys had booked to the wrong location. I again had to wait to get on call with your customer service which took so long and promised me you would get someone to come do it that day it self and said would call me back with the details soon. Instead urban company called me later and informed me that they can’t , and they assured me on the 6th morning someone will come and fix the ac. And now finally urban company called me again and informed me that the booking was made to the same area again which is far away from my actual house so they won’t be able to come to fix it and YOU guys will have to book it to the right location. Now I’ve been trying to connect to RentoMojo for the past hour and still haven’t received a call back. You guys are so incompetent and keep booking the ac installer to the wrong location everytime with the wrong pincode. How is this my problem and how long do I have to keep waiting for this???? I would not reccomend anyone to use RentoMojo because of how terrible you guys service is. You should know my correct address by now right?????? Now by the time you guys even call back there won’t be a slot available for an installer today. Why on earth should I be waiting for even a second longer????? Good at taking orders... Bad at fulfilment.
Everything seems to function smoothly until the order is placed and they have my money. After this point, it is utter mismanagement at every level. The customer service is using standard message templates that begin to get very aggravating after the 3rd time I had to deal with them and being told not to worry and that everything will be sorted out. I ordered several items from them unfortunately and not a single delivery was made in time or in an organized fashion causing unnecessary stress and aggravation. They have no contact number to call for urgent matters, the numbers they provide for their drivers are useless as their drivers never answer their phones. Items listed, ordered and paid for are suddenly not available on the date of their delivery. Just today, I finally lost my patience with them and have decided not to do any further business with this company and encourage all y contacts, friends and family never to work with this company either. Also, do not be fooled by the products they list as available. I have been tricked into ordering these twice already and then being told on the delivery date that they are not in stock. I'm not sure why they do this but can say that in terms of their logistics management and customer service, this company is poorly managed and desperately needs an overhaul in leadership, customer service and process management.

I understand that as a customer, I am supposed to make a payment on time, but due to a few financial circumstances, a few weeks back I asked the agent to give me time until the 25th of this month, and she didn't show any sort of empathy and when I had asked her to pass it over to a manager she straight away said no and started off to being rude and bossy over the call. I have spoken to multiple companies due to my issues, and the way this agent spoke was absolutely terrible. If any of the INVESTORS are looking at this or potential INVESTORS are looking at this. Please keep in mind that you're not trusting a company that maintains good customer experience. Even though I asked her to maintain a good tone she just went on carrying her anger throughout the call.

• After numerous delays, the mattress finally arrived on November 8th.
• Shockingly, it was delivered in the dirtiest and filthiest condition imaginable.
• Sent pictures to the customer support team, but no resolution provided.
3. Website Accuracy and Stock Availability Issues:
• Conflicting information about product availability on the website.
• Despite apparent stock on the site, faced cancellations citing "out of stock."
4. Customer Support:
• Unhelpful customer support exacerbates the frustration.
• No clear information on when the product will be delivered after the last cancellation on November 8th.
• This is the second time facing similar issues, indicating systemic problems.
5. Impact on Plans:
• Plans had to be repeatedly rescheduled due to the uncertainty of product delivery.
