On or around 23 August 2025, I discovered this company through a Google search while seeking informal loan assistance. Their representatives presented documentation that appeared legitimate and confirmed that my loan application had been approved.
Shortly after approval, I was instructed to pay R2,500 upfront to initiate the loan process. I was told the payment needed to clear immediately to avoid delays, and that the loan would be disbursed within 60–90 minutes. Once I made that payment, I was asked for an additional R3,999, allegedly for administrative or compliance costs.
Despite making the first payment and questioning the second, no loan was ever disbursed. All further attempts to contact the company were ignored.
This conduct constitutes misrepresentation, a scam and possible fraud. The company used deceptive tactics to solicit payments under false pretenses, with no intention of delivering the promised loan.
I have retained all communications, payment confirmations, and documentation. These have been submitted to:
South African Police Service (SAPS)
YIMA – South African Fraud Prevention Service
Bank Fraud Department - opened a fraud case with my bank who is in the process if flagging theirs.
*ALL THE ABOVE DOCUMENTS AND THE CASE NUMBER CAN BE SUPPLIED AS PROOF TO LEGITIMISE THIS WARNING POST*
If you are approached by Rescue Financial Services (Pty) Ltd or any similar entity requesting upfront payments for loans, do not engage. Verify credentials, demand transparency, and never transfer money without confirmed legitimacy.
If you’ve been affected, report the incident immediately. Sharing your experience could prevent someone else from being exploited.
