It was generally a good experience, however involved a bit of work my end to keep the momentum going. Started on eBay with me messaging and asking if I could pick the chipper up as I'm sometimes down that way. Received a message saying that wasn't an option using eBay, full stop. End of conversation. There was no alternative suggestion, no helpful "try contacting us by...", just a one liner. So hunted them down via internet and ordered that way. The chipper turned up promptly and well packed within the 10 days they said it would take.

Fair price, packed well, delivered undamaged and when agreed.

The log splitter we chose had a video if how it worked before we made our purchase and it was easy to order. We were sent confirmation of order and delivery details and were contacted by phone to check that everything was acceptable before the machine arrived. The staff we spoke to were knowledgeable and very helpful. The machine was easy to use and a great addition to our garden requirements, we are really pleased with it. Overall a great experience and excellent service throughout.

Log splitter excellent and does all expected of it can recommend. Delivery got delayed due to confusing shipping arrangements and took a week longer than it should, only reason for 4 stars.

Bought the CVR-85 for its compactness and transportability. Chipper arrived securely packaged, on time and all ready to go. Pre-sale inspection and setup appears to have been thorough, which is critical. Phoned Rock with a couple of queries before using it. All questions answered and some good additional tips given. Sales and maintenance team patient and very helpful. Have had to use it with wet brash, which is not recommended but so far no problems. Would have liked the option of an electric start Honda engine but the B&S engine version is very competitive on initial outlay. Only time will tell if the engine choice was wise. So far, so good. Direct purchase from Rock highly recommended.

The wood splitter is very good. Disappointed about delivery as specifically ask for small van as narrow lane access. It arrived in a hugh lorry. The driver was helpful and pushed it some of the way with difficulty.

Simple to set up not done many hours yet but good performance so far

The customer service that Rock delivers is second to none. The technician Alan goes above and beyond and his help over the years has been invaluable. I have always been impressed with this company from sales to aftercare… I live in Yorkshire, but every time I call asking for advice and assistance they have delivered … genuine thanks to the Rock team 👍

Purchasing of this was quite efficient.
However, the quality and design of the product is poor. I will need to re-manufacture it to make it safe to use.
Poorly fitting components Bearings at drop out of pulley’s.

Ordered two machines from Rock (splitter and blitz mower) a couple of weeks apart. Super pleased with both, pallet delivery easy (although second machine the guy just delivered to the outbuilding he had the week before with the first machine and didn’t bother ringing my door bell - fortunately realised it was delivered a day earlier than Rock had told me and got it in before the rain),

Overall though great service and great machines!

Straight forward purchase and great quality product

The product was made to order and I received a phone call to confirm order receipt and then a call to confirm delivery. The product is great quality and very powerful, can easily split logs (with tractor just idling), even those other log splitter wouldn't touch. Very happy so far and am sure it will last a long time given build quality. VERY happy
