I dealt with Liz -absolutely excellent I would give six stars if I could. I had lost power to my shower. After a brief search under a pile of towels in the bottom of the airing cupboard I found a pump! This was clearly going to be the problem and clearly my fault! Took it out and went to get another one, nothing is fixable these days right? Couldn’t get a new one straight away so I looked at the old one. Instead of a Chinese POS snapped together and secured with a couple of now rusty pozi screws I was clearly looking at ‘a nice bit of kit’ held together with six chunky stainless bolts. Took it apart identified the problem and phoned Salamander – if you don’t ask you don’t get. Phone was answered straight away – no telephone bingo. Liz clearly has a thorough working knowledge of pumps and could discern the part I needed from my description. Liz sent me a new part even though it was long out of warrant and I was honest about smothering the pump with towels. Part arrived next day before lunch. Fantastic service I would definitely recommend Salamander.

I dealt with Angela and she was superb, answering all the questions I had and advising on my best course of action. Salamander pumps are the best and I'd had a positive head one powering my showers for 20 years until it packed up, so I replaced it with the latest compatible new one from Salamander. Unfortunately it did not work the way the old one had, apparently due to upgrades in technology affecting the way the new pump worked, so when I rang I was advised that a negative/universal head pump was the answer. Salamander took back the positive head pump, under warranty, and I paid the difference in price between the cost of the two pumps and the new universal pump was received within a couple of days. To return the non compatible pump, I put it in the box and rang Salamander, who then arranged for it to be picked up. First rate advice and service. Thank you Angela and Salamander and here's to another 20 years service for this newly fitted shower pump.

Excellent service thanks. My pump had seized so I contacted the technical support. I sent them photos of the set up and they told me exactly what the problem was. They offered alternatives and a discount.

Apart from the 45min wait on the phone my experience with the Tech team was very good, I supplied photos of the installation and within an hour I was advised a new pump would be dispatched to me within 5 days. Top drawer in my book👍

The response from Salamander in dealing with an issue with a recently fitted CT Force Pump was excellent. They asked the right questions to enable them to focus in on the problem and provided immediate information how to rectify the installation and replaced the pump with no quibbles. A masterclass in customer relations. Lee was knowledgeable, helpful and interested in resolving the problem.

Susan Haley, was absolutley fabolous, indealing with the issues I had.
She was through, attentive and extremley effiecent in everything she done.
she is managerial material.

Spoke with Caroline this morning about my noisey pump , she was easy to talk to and explained how to resolve the problem .An absolute star 🌟

I really cannot praise Caroline highly enough. Our CT Shower pump was making a horrendous noise on 18/12 which I reported to Salamander Tech by email.
Due to the Xmas break it was not processed so a reminder was sent on 2/1 and 13/1. Phoned in this morning and waited 20 mins before my call was answered. But from the outset Caroline could not have been more understanding & helpful, first apologising for delayed responses to my original emails and for the wait on the phone. She then proceeded to check various parameters re the installation (I sent photos and a sound file) to illustrate the noise issue which she then explained was probably air ingress leading to internal structural damage. She also took the trouble to explain that supplying a replacement pump does not reset the warranty period back to zero (some thing I had not known). Salamander has already replaced our pump once due to a pressure vessel failure in 2021 but as a goodwill gesture Caroline agreed to also replace the current pump. Her calm manner and constructive suggestions have helped me understand how to best protect this replacement pump in the future. Thank you Caroline for first class customer support - once again the Salamander Technical team sorted my problem. Thank you all

Great customer service. The agent I spoke with was very helpful and technically superb (Susan Haley). In my opinion this lady is an asset to the company. Overall, glad I made headway in my enquiries.

Salamander Pump warranty is a scam! Giving them all the proof is useless. This company is a scam!

I am writing to raise a formal complaint regarding the handling of my warranty claim for a Salamander pump purchased and installed on 7 May 2025. The warranty was also registered on the same date.

You have informed me that the pump is out of warranty, which is clearly incorrect given the purchase and registration dates. The pump was installed correctly and fully in accordance with your installation requirements.

It appears that your company is attempting to deny a legitimate warranty claim without reasonable justification, using every possible excuse to avoid responsibility. Such action makes your warranty commitment appear misleading and unreliable, which is unacceptable to customers who rely on the stated warranty terms at the time of purchase.

I have installed many Salamander pumps for my customers in the past, but this experience has seriously damaged my confidence in your brand. I will no longer purchase or recommend Salamander products.

Great technical help. As an installer, they are always on hand to make sure installation is up to spec to activate the warranty.
Customer had wrong pump installed, Salamander sorted this with an upgrade and confirmed the pipework was up to scratch.

Had a plumber who gave me confidence he knew what he was talking about, who was in contact by mobile to Susan at Salamander pumps. Between them they resolved my water system issue. Was incredibly impressed with the knowledge and understanding from Susan who advised the plumber every step of the way. Upgrade to my pump was identified and arranged by Susan. Incredible service from Susan at Salamander, well pleased.

Susan was superb to deal with. Helpful and knowledgeable, she guided me through the process in a simple manner, explaining key points when required. Subsequent delivery times impact the score, with the order confirmed Tuesday and not due for delivery until the following Monday.

Had a problem with my pump was enquiring about the newer version but was advised it might just need some more air, was sent a video on how to check and put more air in if needed and bingo all up and running again with just some air saving me over £400, the customer service was Angela very patient with me trying to find serial numbers etc, so nice being able to talk to a real person in the UK.

Lee was fantastic and helped me through process perfectly. Would highly recommend Salamander pumps and thank you Lee for all your help.

Would just like to give a big shout out to Susan Hailey from Customer Services for helping me out (I’m 76yrs). She urgently requested a Salamander engineer to visit who confirmed the pump was at fault and replaced it.
Thank you Susan for making the ordeal straightforward with minimum stress.
