Richard was very helpful, just as the other reviews suggested. I followed the sizing tool, and his subsequent advice, and my Lake shoes are a great fit.
Probably the best aspect of the service was being able to speak to a real person when things didn't quite go to plan.

I ordered my new shoes in the afternoon and and was very impressed to have them delivered the following day.
Before placing my order I'd sent an online question about the shoes and the proprietor phoned me back about an hour later to chat about sizing etc which I thought was very efficient and helpful.
I will definitely check the Saltdog website in the future when needing new gear.
will certainly recommend them to cycling buddies.

After a bike fit last year, I was recommended to try Lake cycling shoes as they do wide fit versions. Salt Dog Cycling have a specific Lake shoe size calculator, which very helpfully let me pick the right pair (not the wide ones, as it happens). I've since gone back and bought the MXZ304 winter boots (tested in the recent -9°C weather). Salt Dog Cycling have been prompt and helpful, and can have great deals on gear. Highly recommended.

I initially contacted Richard by message and was phoned within about 5 minutes to help me with choosing the correct size and model of shoe. He is very patient and knowledgeable and explains his recommendations very clearly.
I followed his directions on re measuring my feet and had another 15 minutes on the phone to finalise my order.
I received a pair of LAKE shoes within 2-3 days, which was quicker than I anticipated. Shoes are of exceptional quality and were competitive in price.
I’d go back to Richard for anything cycling.

I was recommended this site by a friend and I wasn’t disappointed, I used the shoe size calculator and said 42.5 so I went for a 43 and they’re a perfect size with thin and thick socks, really warm at zero degrees on my 45 minute commute. Quick delivery also, with regular updates via email 👍🏻
