Very easy to deal with delivery comfortable sofa brilliant

The sales assistant listened to what we wanted and talked us through each sofa that met our needs, excellent service from start to finish.

I have an urgent complaint regarding misrepresentation and hostile behaviours by the Store manager at the SCS / Poltronesofa Stockton Portrack Lane.
We purchased a sofa after being led to believe it was suitable for a standard home. However, upon arrival, the delivery drivers stated it was physically impossible to get the sofa inside without removing a newly fitted window OR paying hundreds of pounds to have the sofa taken apart and the rebuilt. The drivers informed us that this sofa model cannot fit into a standard house. This was not mentioned at point of sale to us!
I approached the manager of the shop who became abusive and told us we would need to pay storage fees until WE resolve the issue. He also said that since we have now paid, the problem is ours. I tried to talk the store again by phone but again received very rude treatment and threats of further fees, after which the phone was put down on me.
I tried ringing head office but they put me back to the store, to resolve it myself !
I am trying to get in touch with head office prior to going to the furniture Ombudsman

The service in the showroom was 100% in helping us choose to us ordering the product and then updates and then to delivery of the product was 100% yet again cannot fault this company there staff and customer services everybody was so nice and helpful five stars well worth it and we are so in love with the product

Vast amount of options and permutations so plenty of reasons to take your time.
Can’t comment on products yet as no delivery, hopefully that will be as painless as initial visits.

The 2 men who brought my 2 sofas were very polite. They placed the sofas just where I wanted them. And took all the rubbish away with them

Delivery a disaster!
They lost half of our reclining chair and had to reschedule delivery.
Not a problem in itself but we had to do all the work attempting to find out what was happened?
Would appear that there is no accountability within this organisation!
The chair is good quality and we are very satisfied with it.

Helpful and knowledgeable sales staff, quality workmanship in the manufacturing of our furniture and friendly, helpful and polite delivery team. We would highly recommend Poltronesofa.

We ordered our furniture with good faith, expecting to get interest free payment. Attended the shop to arrange this to be told declined. The manager has put some wrong details in hence rejected. Told delivery was to be at our old address not the new one, which they had been told over and over. Finally furniture arrived all in order. Would not recommend this company for any reason. Paid cash and didn't get any discount or freebies!
