I cannot thank the staff at Sharman Quinney Werrington enough on the recent sale of my house. Lorraine Fox was exceptional and so helpful she couldn't do enough for me and helped me through a very stressful time and made my move very easy and Thank you to all the staff i highly recommend them.

After viewing a property and expressing an interest, and leaving several messages with the agent thereafter, I have received a zero response from the agent.
Disrespectful and unprofessional

Jon and in particular Renate at the Werrington branch achieved an excellent outcome in selling my property. Both marketing and communication was good throughout the process. Renate was very determined and worked hard to complete a sale in challenging market conditions. I highly recommend their service.

Efficient service, friendly and helpful. It didn’t seem to matter the issue nothing was too much trouble.

Great service on the whole, only issue was there choice of solicitors that were not equipped to handle this type of property. So we sorted our own.
Actual marketing was well handled.

Never, Never, Never give your details to this company. They will call, text and email you even when you have asked on repeated occasions to be removed from their database. They do not adhere to GDRP regulations which requires them to remove contact details from their database when requested to do so.

Fantastic service, would definitely recommend. Jonathan, Lorraine and Renate were extremely helpful and kept me up to date throughout the whole process. Jonathan went above and beyond by checking on my property as it was left empty for three months. This gave us peace of mind and helped make the experience a lot less stressful. Definitely the best estate agent I have ever used.

Keep receiving calls saying my property is up for rent. My house has never been advertised for rentals. I've explained on numerous occasions that they must have the wrong house number or address and to remove mine from their list.

I had to give it 1 star as you can’t write a review otherwise, so in reality I give them 0 stars!!
This company is an absolute sham!! Since the 10th July 2024 my elderly farther has been without hot water and heating, he is boiling pans and the kettle to wash his pots and pans, and carrying boiling water upstairs so he can have some kind of a wash!!!
This is absolutely ridiculous disgusting and unacceptable, this company don’t give a fig, all you get is ‘oh, I’ve only just been given this case’ or ‘we are trying to contact the landlord’, this is utter rubbish.
Duty of care, none existent !!
If you are a landlord I advise you stay away from this farse of a company and seeking renting or selling elsewhere, if you were looking to rent or buy, forget it, stay as far away from this …( I can’t even call it a company)… array of people that do or don’t answer phones or emails under the name of sharman Quinny.
My 0 stars stands firm! Avoid at all costs.

They are cowboys ripping off poor people. No repairs/ forcing you to pay unnecessary fees.

Represent fraudulent landlords

Avoid this dodgy agent in peterborough. Rude staff dont know how to engage with there customers . They will only want to deal with you if they benefit otherwise they will fob you off.. Do yourself a favour AVOID! Especially PETERBOROUGH branch!

Sharman Quinney Cambourne Branch - Ms Baylee Bishop very professional

Baylee has demonstrated a very high level of professionalism during our search for an ideal property. She is very cheerful, polite, responsive, attentive and patient. No pressure to make a deal. A very good facilitator for information exchange between us and the vendor.

The Lettings team in the Peterborough branch were exceptional, a big shout out to Shane and Suzanne, thank you my family and I was very happy the service provided. Ben B

After deciding to relocate to March in Cambridgeshire, we searched Estate Agents for advice on properties in the area. On coming into the Sharman Quinney office in March 2023, we instantly received a professional and very friendly reception. Georgia Goode knew we were in the very early stages of looking and we felt no pressure to start the process of choosing properties. We knew then that Georgia and her team were the right people to help us.

We reconnected at the end of June 2023 with 5 properties we wanted to see, and again we received fantastic support from Georgia, taking us round each property, offering exceptionally sound advice on the area, amenities really listening to what we were after. On our third choice of viewings, we knew the property was definitely 'the one'.

As we didn't yet have an offer on our own property for sale, Georgia negotiated with the vendor, and an agreement to hold the offer for 3 weeks was put in place. It did take a little longer to sell our own house, and once sorted we went straight back to Georgia to offer on our dream home.

The whole team at Sharman Quinney worked tirelessly for several months whilst the chain hit problems and Katie in the office worked really well with our own estate agent in chasing updates and keeping our vendor informed. The communication was outstanding. Finally after 8 months of issues out of our control we managed to exchange and complete within 3 days. Excitedly we went to the office to collect our keys and were welcomed by the whole team who had been patiently waiting for the sale to go through - Sandra in the office was absolutely lovely and knew so much about the property we were buying she offered so much helpful information and its history.

We really felt the whole team, Sandra, Georgia, Katie, Natasha, Jade and Cassie were outstanding in their professionalism, emphasis on communication and patience in helping us finally get to our forever home. I would recommend Sharman Quinney in a heartbeat.

Whittlesea branch I think. Unprofessionalism from the rental dept from exactly the day after I signed the contract, as landlord I can't believe these people are employed. Incompetent, unprofessional, lazy, most definitely need to learn the difference between advice and threatening behaviour on their part.

Please avoid using Sharman Quinney under any circumstances. If I could have given no stars I would have, there is nothing good that can be said about this agency. It's honestly the worst agency I have ever come across and I've been in the industry myself for 14 years now.

They cannot even carry out basic due diligence when advertising a property so be prepared to be misinformed. One property was advertised as both freehold and leasehold, when we phoned to check we were told it was freehold, but it turned out through our solicitor it did have a lease too. They also didn't know the seller was only selling with a limited title not a full one, something that again only came to light through our solicitor six months later, a complete waste of everyone's time that could have been avoided if Sharman Quinney could be bothered to get to know the sellers and the houses they are selling better.

The property we eventually ended up buying was advertised as having allocated off road parking. When we phoned to check this we were told this was definitely correct. Common sense told us this didn't seem right as none of the properties there had parking and the space was no where near the house! It turned out this was not the case at all and there was no parking with the house. It no longer fitted our needs however as this all happen several weeks down the line, and we were due to be made homeless in a matter of weeks, we simple had no choice but to proceed. Sharman Quinney's response to this was 'we take the word of our sellers' so it seems they will believe anything you tell them as a seller, despite the fact common sense should have made any competent agent question the parking situation in this case. Sharman quinney are the only agency I know to get away with not carrying out basic due diligence.

You will never be able to get hold of anyone at the branch, we had to phone another branch on many occasions to get them to contact the Shelford office for us, they don't reply to any phone calls or emails. They have a turn over of staff every few weeks, you are not told when someone is leaving nor introduced to someone new starting. The person starting will also have no clue what's going on with the sale so be prepared to constantly have to repeat yourself. They do not bother giving you any updates or chase a sale for you, complete laziness. They will be sitting on their personal mobile phones everytime you drive past.

When we raised a complaint about their shortfallings and appalling service, we didn't get a single apology. How this agency is still running honestly baffles me, at the very least the Shelford branch should not be allowed to continue practicing.

Absolutely no! They can't manage the basic. I called the agency several time asking where the agent was. She missed me? I went to the appointment well in advance but she didn't show up. Seriously...

Earlier this year we were searching to buy a property in Oundle and desperate to move to the area. Linda McMullan is an outstanding estate agent. All the agencies we registered with made little to no contact with us and it was down to us to chase them to see if they had new properties coming to the market. This was not the case with Linda. Linda rang us weekly to see how our search was progressing, kept us informed of events happening in Oundle and what properties were coming to the market. She was formidable in our house search and even at the end when we found a property with another agent, Linda kept in touch and helped our transition to moving up to Northamptonshire. Linda is a total professional and with confidence I would happily sell any property via her as I know the service I received as a house seeker was professional, caring and supportive.
