SKO was recommended to us by a friend who had previously had an amazing kitchen. We had looked elsewhere but decided to take a look at SKO before deciding. From the moment we entered the showroom we were glad we did. The range was vast, the knowledge was tremendous and the willingness and patience in helping us choose our perfect kitchen was second to none. The whole process was trouble free if you discount the whole COVID disruption of delays regarding our 7 kitchen appliances which made the installation run over the expected timeframe. This was unavoidable due to the pandemic and in no way reflects upon SKO who did everything within their ability to minimise the delays and disruption. We chose to have our new kitchen installed by SKO as we had one area which was bespoke. The quality, the design, the standard of workmanship, the professionalism, the value for money, the overall finished kitchen has totally exceeded our expectations. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending SKO to anyone. They don’t disappoint, they deliver the dream and I am totally delighted.

From our first visit to the SKO showroom, through the design and ordering phase and then to the installation I cannot say how amazed we are at the level of service we have received.

Amazing attention to detail by Jon Berry in planning our kitchen and utility room and this great service was followed through into the service during the installation. Was there to help when needed and provided regular updates along the way.

The fitter was one of the most accommodating trades people we have had at our home recently, nothing was a problem or too much trouble.

All of this was completed during varying levels of lockdown and restrictions, which just shows how dedicated they are to providing a great level of service.

We love our new kitchen and would go back to SKO in the future and recommend them to anyone who asks.

Had our kitchen done before Christmas and everything was exactly what we expected! There were some hiccups with some items being unavailable but they kept us in the loop during the whole process. Given the current climate we fully expected there to be some bumps in the road as we’ve also been without windows for 3 months!
But their designers were amazing and the fitting team helped us achieve our dream kitchen!

Fitter Scott was excellent.However,as deliveries failed and problems occurred it became apparent to me that SKO had bulletproof terms and conditions and the customer had to sort problems themselves.Any items that were ordered which became unavailable were suddenly credited and left to customer to source.One weeks installation ran into three months!
Final payment was requested prior to loading of final equipment to allow delivery and installation.
To cap it all a plumbing item which delivers unsatisfactory performance will be credited when I source a replacement have it fitted and the unsatisfactory item is returned to SKO.(Ongoing)
To sum up the whole experience I would say Good pre payment customer service - Very poor post payment customer service and definitely No customer delight.

Had a new kitchen from this company in April 2020. Brilliant company, very helpful and attentive. Can not recommend Jon Berry the designer enough.
Customer service was brilliant throughout.

Their Planner was poor; failed to take into account support required for a breakfast bar; ordered the wrong colour side panels; ordered the wrong size cupboard; and failed to return our calls. Their fitter was as bad; failed to turn up (twice !) in the middle of the job; left us waiting for his plasterer to turn up - a day late; failed to arrange for the gas hob to be connected; failed to connect the sink tap; some of his work was shoddy; and without any prior arrangement suddenly one day requested payment, in full, in cash before the job was completed ! When we made a formal complaint, a manager made sure things were rectified (hence 2 stars instead of 1) but what should have been 2 weeks of disruption turned into 10 weeks of stress and inconvenience.

Still waiting for kitchen to be finished from October the 4th. This company dont care at all for the customer
Paid £10,000 on a kitchen what is Still missing doors, the fitter they provided has vanished, nobody calls you back as promised, really disgusting service , I'm now on with trading standards to get this fixed. Quick to take your money then vanish

I don't normally write reviews but I felt I had to share my fantastic experience with buying a kitchen from SKO. I went in with what I thought were high expectations and virtually impossible but SKO made my dream kitchen become a reality. Thank you to all the staff who never fail to go extra mile for putting up with my demands and creating a beautiful kitchen. Can't recommend this company enough.

Terrible service once they’ve got your money!

Been waiting 9 weeks for kitchen parts to complete our kitchen and each time we call the person hasn’t got a clue and promises they will look in to it/call back but then never do!

My friend, sister and colleague have all recently had quotes from here but I’ve warned them against!

I find them both rude and incompetent.

Total mess up when first given quote, had to go through the entire thing again and get requoted. If it wasn’t for the fact my husband is a kitchen fitter himself, we would have had totally the wrong sizes in everything delivered!

I am taking this further via a complaint.

We were very happy with our new kitchen, and very pleased with the fitters, Rhys and Jake and this would have been a 5 star rating except for the disappearing electrician! He left us initially with wiring for undercabinet lights which was taped to the underside of the cabinet with a 6ins strip of black insulation tape. I doubt he'd got out of the door before the wiring and transformer fell down, so for 3 weeks or more we had wiring etc hanging out of the bottom of the cupboard, until Rhys came and fixed it back into position. Our problem now is that this electrician appears to have vanished leaving us without a certificate for the electrical works. This certificate is needed for insurance purposes and also if we decide to sell the property. The work was done end of Oct/beginning of Nov. 3 months later, no certificate, no electrician. My text messages to Rhys go unanswered and emails to SKO simply tell us "not their problem". We now have to engage an electrician at extra cost to check over the electrics and issue a certificate.

Lovely kitchen very happy with the quality of the service thanks to Tony who works at Carlisle street nothing was too much trouble for him.

Long overdue review, great service, friendly staff, would recommend a lot!

Jeremy was very helpful from start to finish. We encountered a few problems with fitting and Jeremy was always on hand to put this right and turned a stressful experience in to a pleasant one. Very pleased with the end result and would definitely recommend.

Stuart at SKO designed our kitchen and also supplied all our appliances. It came in at an excellent price, cheaper that other companies wanted for flat pack.
Solid cabinets, really top quality, this is the 2nd kitchen we have had from SKO, we also had them to supply the kitchen in our previous house and it definitely helped to sell the house.
Since seeing our kitchen a few of our friends and family have also used them and i would definitely recommend using them, hassle free, great quality & great price!!!

Excellent service from Leeds (Elland Road) branch. Myself and my wife Pam needed a full new kitchen refit. Chris at Leeds branch guided us very well indeed (with no hard sell). His planning work was also excellent. Further, Danny, the fitter Chris organised for us, did a superb job on the ripout and new fit which included new floor and wall tiles. The work started exactly on time and was done with huge professionalism and attention to detail. It also finished a day ahead of time which was big bonus. We also particularly wanted a new kitchen towel rail (brushed metal to match the handles, taps and new plug sockets) but SKO didn't have what we needed. However, to their huge credit, they contacted their HQ who took time out to find and recommended an IKEA product that fitted the bill perfectly.

A great big thank you to SKO Sheffield branch for our beautiful kitchen. John the manager designed it for us, with his expertise and with us stating what we required it was easy as that. We had shopped around but they came top in everything....price, quality, patience and excellent customer service before and after. Showing our kitchen off with everyone and happy to recommend them.

Kevin at the Carlisle street showroom has just designed my kitchen plan for me . I was very pleased with the whole process and the customer care during this process.
He was able to put my ideas of what a wanted into a plan which gave me a great idea of what I did and didn’t like. Also giving me great advice and guidance along the way .
Looking forwards to my kitchen becoming reality.
Would highly recommend this business for a kitchen .
