Silva have helped me make difficult decisions through helpful telephone calls and emails. I am more than happy in the end even though we had a few hiccups along the way both Laurence and Barry were extremely helpful. I would highly recommend them on their customer service before and upon ordering, and after ordering and delivery.
I had an issue with the packaging and delivery of the first order but felt able to explain this to Barry and my next order was exemplary.
Thank you Silva - all I need now is for the snow to stay away - we've had white ground for over a month now.

Ordered special offer cedar pack online for collection at widnes depot,they contacted me a day later to arrange the date and time for collection . Upon arrival your told to sit in car and call a mobile number and they bring the cladding out. After inspection of boards it was clear I had gone for the wrong grade and was after something smoother and more formal than the rustic pack I had chosen. It was not an issue for the guys there who managed to sort me out with some very nice prestige planks, although at a few hundred quid extra I was happy to pay as the quality is fantastic. Overall good company and a big thanks to the two chaps onsite who sorted it for me

I am very happy with the service I received. I was kept informed of the status of the order and it arrived on time. All round good experience.

Would have been five stars but there was a slight error on the first order that I placed, this was all rectified and credit received quickly, placed a second top up order which was delivered on time as promised. Will be using this company again for my next project.

Silva provided much helpful advice on delivery of my cedar battens and the quantity and type of nails I should use. Although the delivery was a day late this was the delivery company's fault and Silva were very helpful in trying to sort out the delay.
An excellent product.

A friend recommended Silva Timber and in particular Thermawood, the product is excellent all supplied in good condition no splitting or excess notts, the project is now complete finished off with a Wood Preservative (OIL) it looks great. Planning another outbuilding in the new year (8m x 4m) will be using Thermawood from Silver Timber.

Ordered some 'grade b' Siberian Larch. Easy to order on the website, and went to collect it as delivery costs were too high for me. I'd say about half of the timber had, what can only be described as, extensive scratching on the surface of the wood, almost like the teeth of a saw had been ran across the surface. I managed to get enough decent lengths to put on the front of my garden room but the timber down the side is rough to say the least. I expected better quality considering the cost.

Silva timber sold me some western red cedar cladding during the covid crisis- the service was slower but that is totally understandable, and the cladding was top quality when it arrived..I then found out I had ordered too little. Jenny at silva went above and beyond, posting me the small amount I needed to save me paying full haulage, and getting it to me quickly and in good condition,all the time being extremely friendly and professional throughout while helping me sort out a mess of my own making! I was most grateful, I don't post reviews often but I feel silvas service deserved credit..I have bought cladding twice before from this company and have never had any reason to complain..

I have purchased the Thermowood product on several separate occasions over recent months and have been delighted with it and the service in difficult times. Robert in Widnes was most helpful on each occasion

Used in the supply of Thermowood and Cedar for my home office and really happy with service and high quality of product. I actually visited site to get samples and could not have been more helpful. Will definitely use again!

Brilliant products, delivered on time, good price and the project is coming along brilliantly. The only improvement I could suggest would be a call or email to give the delivery date as the first thing I received was a call from the driver to say he would be 30 minutes, fortunately I was on site at the time. But with covid restrictions this is understandable and the quality and range will still draw me back when it time to finish the project off.

Ordered 10m Tyvek house wrap only got 9.5m. left me short to finish job so had to use cut offs and purchase expensive tape (which I would not have needed to if got the 10m I paid for) to make good. To add insult to injury when I phoned them to explain the situation the Silva timber man laughed! he actually laughed! and then said we will get back to you. He hasn't. Bad service and even worse customer service. Was going to order my cladding from Silva timber. No chance now. Wont use again.

In reply to Silva timber response, I also have a recording of the telephone conversation and he does laugh so the fact you've said you have heard the recording and there isn't a laugh is worrying. I suggest you listen again. Also you said you phoned me several times. My phone records state you called me once. Finally you have made no comment about supplying 9.5m if house wrap when I paid for 10m. Are you going to reimburse me the monatery difference?

Good communication, changed my quote quickly when I altered the spec. Great delivery and the quality of the thermowood is excellent.

I bought some Siberian Larch cladding. It arrived in good time all well wrapped and intact. The timber was A grade and despite one or two large knots was absolutely beautiful.
I have now installed it on my garden building and treated with a wax/uv protection looks stunning.

The product received was 1st class but the delivery was wrong . I phoned customer services to get the problem sorted and was told i would get a call back to exchange the wrong items . Never got the call and had to make do with what I received as I didn't have time to halt the job as this would have had a knock on effect on the next project. Not happy as I paid more for the product i didn't receive so I'm out of pocket as well as unhappy with the finish on one part of the project.

Stock shortages as a result of Covid meant we had a bit of a wait until the items we ordered were available, but we will kept informed of progress and the customer services team were friendly and efficient. The Larch trim and planks were very good.

Used this company twice now & very happy with their service. First time I had it delivered arrived first thing. My second order I traveled to London to pick up. Once I arrived I realised I had ordered the wrong cedar. Main office managed to sort out what I needed while I waited at no extra cost .Very helpful.

Wasn't too impressed with customer service. had to book a week in advance for an appointment to collect a £25 order and couldn't book an appointment in for any afternoon just mornings. when I arrived there there was no one around and had to ring the office to be told to go through to service deliver entrance. again no one around. after 20 mins finally found someone. hopefully don't have to deal with this company again! dreadful service and probably no worthy of the one star allocated.
