**THE JOKE OF A COMPANY CONTINUES!**
Simple Life Homes’ response is yet another example of the unacceptable way this company handles matters.
You claim you only became aware of the court order when I contacted you last week. This is simply not consistent with our experience. My partner and two of your executives were on a call when the court decision was given. So how can you now claim that you were not notified?
You also claim that you requested our bank details on Friday, 23 October, and have not received a response. The bank details were provided within a minute of receiving your request!Yet, a week later, you are still making excuses instead of resolving this matter.
My partner had to call your company countless times. Every time, we were met with people pretending they knew nothing about the case. On one occasion, the very same person who previously claimed not to know anything suddenly managed to find the address when my partner mentioned it without actually saying what the call was about. This raises serious questions about how your company handles customer enquiries and information.
We have kept records of everything: the phone conversations, emails, and correspondence sent to various contacts within your company. We have evidence of what has been said and what has happened throughout this entire process.
**We are done with the excuses, the delays, and the lack of accountability. If you fail to comply with the court’s decision and pay what is owed, we will pursue further legal action as necessary to enforce it.
A company should not need countless phone calls, repeated emails, and a court order before taking responsibility for its obligations.
**An absolute disgrace.**
My advice to anyone considering using this company: think twice and read the reviews carefully.

We met James, completely by accident as he was showing someone else a property. He was kind enough to ask us to wait and he would fit us in to show us around. He was patient, professional and made us feel comfortable in making our choice. He assisted us in making contact with Simple Life the same afternoon.

Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs. Lived in the property for more than 2 years and hated it. Trying to get hold of someone is impossible. I reported that the kitchen skirting board was loose and still to this day nobody has come out. The living room window would not shut part of the windowsill came loose leading me to leave the window open all day all night causing me stress as I didn’t feel safe. Nobody helped. It wasn’t an emergency apparently. No hot water from the bath taps, someone did come out in the end and he told me that whoever fitted the bath had drilled with a nail so the man couldn’t get to the issue and find out why this was happening. Now moved out of the property and hardly getting non of the deposit back because them being unreasonable. I have a list as long as my arms with things they had to do to the property and that’s why we’re not getting the full deposit back. And I can explain and agree with a few of them but painting around the bathroom mirror? Painting all stairway? The stairway walls was perfect condition no damage whatsoever. Please avoid! They just want your money they don’t care

In the meantime, a few points on how deposits work. Deposits are protected in a government approved scheme (DPS, TDS or mydeposits), and any deduction must be evidenced against the check-in and check-out reports. Deductions can’t be made for fair wear and tear. If you disagree with a deduction, you can raise a dispute with the scheme holding your deposit, and an independent adjudicator will review the evidence from both sides at no cost to you.
If you’d like us to review your repair requests and the deposit deductions, please email residents@simplelifehomes.com with your full name and the property address, and we’ll respond promptly.
