I cannot but show my appreciation of a disputed horse racing bet that was explained in a professional and understanding manner by the agent online. This was settled with a wonderful gesture by the agent which more than made up for my original enquiry.

Suspended since 2023 – thousands of pounds still unpaid

My experience with Sky Bet has been extremely frustrating and is still ongoing.

My account was originally suspended in 2023. Since then, I have spent over 3 year repeatedly providing the same information and documents requested by Sky Bet. I have supplied my driver's licence, bank statements, proof of address, photo of my debit cards and former employers and clients.

On numerous occasions, Sky Bet has confirmed that they received the information. However, I have also been told later that they did not have information or documents that I had already submitted and, in some cases, had already been confirmed by email photos they were received.

I was never given a clear written explanation for why my account was suspended in the first place. Instead, I was repeatedly asked to provide the same information over and over again.

Eventually, after more than 2 year of back and forth, I received an email stating that Sky Bet had all the necessary information and that my account had been reopened. I then proceeded to withdraw some of my money.

Less than 24 hours later, my account was suspended again.

I am now being told it was a mistake and asked to provide the same information and documentation that I have already supplied multiple times. I have many thousands of pounds still unpaid, my account remains suspended, and Sky Bet has provided no timeline for when the current review will be completed or when I will receive the remainder of my funds.

The most concerning part is the contradiction: I have received confirmation that documents were received, yet I am later told that the same information cannot be found and must be submitted again.

I have tried to cooperate fully throughout this process, but after nearly three years of repeated requests, unexplained suspensions and unresolved withdrawals, my patience has run out.

I am now escalating this matter through gambling regulator complaints procedure and seeking further advice regarding the prolonged withholding of my funds and the handling of my personal information.

At this point, I simply want a clear explanation, a proper resolution, and access to my money.

My account is still suspended and my payout is still outstanding.

Absolutely shocking company, tried creating new account via their website to be given a registration error, during on chat with an agent for 1.5 hours she requested my details which she linked to a separate account (not mine) then confirmed they were wrong details no shit ITS NOT MY ACCOUNT, wrong email address & mobile phone number which a simple request & check of these when first on chat would have identified the error. Now I'm unable to create an account via their website due to Sky Bets error, currently waiting for update to my complaint, very poor service for a new customer DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY as its clear accounts are also being compromised.

I placed the above bet and it showed up as void. Then it was settled as lost. When I asked about it the guy was going on about rule 4 deductions when i closed chat.
As Rule 4 would not apply to a bet that lost nor would it apply to a Void bet. It was only 2.88 GBP. But when i saw it was Voided, I paced another bet for similar amount so when i got the Voided bets money back I would have exactly 7 GBP in my account. They can keep or give the 2.88 charity Now as after chat i thinking Theft and not error.. That or it's the other?
Edit Reply to your reply. What's the point the bet was settled correctly but it should not of shown up as Void as it made me replace the bet for the same amount as i wanted a bet on that race. The complaint was more about the person i spoke to going on about rule 4 deductions when i was asking why the bet was Voided and then settled. Rule 4 has nothing to do with Voided bets that were then settled as lost.

I thought I had qualified for the Sky Bet Club promotion but one of my £25 was the correct odds and the agent explained this. to me going forward and added the free bet as good will gesture

Disgraceful customer service,you ask to speak to a manager or a number to phone one,and the agent keeps blocking you with stupid replies,and doesn't even get the gist of what your talking about ,they have no idea,feels like their reading off a script...

Just closed my account. They have been so so for a long time and whilst I don't bet with my own money alot these days (as I never seem to win many of the bets I placed) I still used them as my main go to betting site.

They have now placed a restriction on my accounts so essentially no more freebies for me. No one will tell me why, just pointing to T's and C's stating they can. I assume it's because I'm still getting freebies without putting a lot of money in. CS can't/won't give me a reason so I've just closed the account. I'll move elsewhere. Not a good look to withdraw freebies from someone to prompt them to use money. Good job I don't have a gambling problem. Offers are just the same as other places with the odd exception.

I loaded 10 pounds and in about 2 days I won 60-70.. they limited my account to bet 1-2 pounds and closed it for more documents / selfie, statement, other things / and we are talking about 60-70 pounds profit!
