Scammers and Thieves

Don't fall into the trap please and don’t believe them at all it’s the most dangerous company they will ruin your life and steal all your money
Be careful please don’t fall into their trap like i did .. they steal all my money when i needed them badly to pay medications for my sick dad and now my dad is dying because of them 😭

Modern day scammers

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I used their service for some starter package they had I forgot to cancel and I got charged cool. I called them to possibly get my money back and cancel the subscription but they kept stalling and I understand if they do not refund me but they couldn't even cancel my subscription by which time they had closed my account with them. So they had just planned on charging me for nothing if I hadn't closed my paypal account linked to it. ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!!

Please Avoid

We hosted with this company for several years before finally moving away. Even after we had moved our site away we continued to get billed for services we were not using. So many things are charged separately that other companies just include for the price, like a spam filter for your email, site building software etc. There is no way I can recommend this company and would encourage everyone to avoid using them.

BLACKMAIL & EXTORTION

I cancelled my hosting package 6 months prior to it expiring but they rebilled £80 wirhout my agreement. I asked them to refund me but they ignored me. So the bank raised a legitimate charge back and I was refunded

Unfortunately they are still the registrar for the domain and they suspended all email until I pay them £140.

They said that charge backs are not acceptable to them....no wonder when they take money from your credit card for a service they don't provide. To me that's theft ....It's like dealing with a loan shark.

Oh and the reason why the hosting was moved is because it didn't work.

STAY AWAY ..... THEY ARE DREADFUL. IVE CALLED 8 TIMES IN A WEEK TO GET THIS SORTED BUT NOBODY IS AVAILABLE.

I should have read the reviews first. Cancelled the subscriptions in the first 14days which when i checked isn't one month for free, it is a 12 months contract. Couldn't do it online so i had to contact them. First time i was told that someone will contact me by email. Nothing.
Second time again. Nothing
3 months keep charging me.
Called again to cancel today, i was told is a contract so you can’t cancel it.
Shocking ! Awful company asking me to show them a proof that i cancelled. Which they cant see on their system.

Dear Georgia,

This service is not as described and hopefully what I have now put into motion will stop Fast Hosts from taking advantage of other people. Fast Hosts packages have caused “a failure to deliver fair outcomes for consumers.” This includes providing customers with misleading information or recommending that they purchase unsuitable products which are not as described and mis-sold. Please, may I suggest you read the emails instead of asking me to explain once again all over again!
Have not been allowed to cancel these misrepresented sales hence cancelled all transactions and HSBC now have the beginnings of the whole case file as of today.
The Fast Hosts promises within their charter they do not keep.
Informed Trading Standards who have raised a case.
The services never brought any customers, and we never had a shop created and neither did we have an interactive site whereby feedback can be left within a sign in membership portal for online groups and students and gallery for their work. These mis-sold packages cost money and as the Fast Hosts after continuously asking them to cancel ignored and went ahead after doing so within time limits to use my debit card.
We wished to have a WordPress site not the salesperson’s mis sold products. Not as described either as evidence proves.

You can't cancel online

You can't cancel online. You have to call them and you must remember the password-as its usually in a password manager, this will catch most of us out.

It's impossible to remove a payment detail if it the last one.

You can't delete services.

I do NOT recommend a company that operates in a this fashion, at all.

I’m always finding the good side everywhere, but this is just nonsense!

First I did purchases domain, which I could not use in any where rather than there platform for at least 60 days, ok I’ll wait.

Than- to try web site constructor (which is useless) I had to sign up for the trial… and when same day I realised, it is not working for me, I’ve tried to cancel!

How come the platform which actually building sites have no button to cancel unwanted subscription??? Very easily to sign … and no chance to cancel!

Now the last and very important! No reminders about the trial will be expired soon, nothing at all! No communication except of stupid advertising to buy more from you! You just took money, and now want me to pay for service I will never use for 12 month ???

It is absolutely not customer oriented site!

Customer service was rude, and said I had enough time to contact them to cancel this subscription… I really don’t get , why do I have to contact on the place where you can simply add one button???

I want to cancel it ! As I’m not planning to use this service!

Absolutely the worst customer service i…

Absolutely the worst customer service i have ever recieved. Avoid this company at all cost. I am going to report it for unclear information about signing up to a contract. I will now loose 7 months of payment an no service. Absolutely shocking. I feel like freezing my card until the contract ends so they get nothing at all. Wish i had never signed up. Stay away from this company people, save your money. They keep saying call the customer support team when i have and all i got back was i cant close the account until the contract ends in July 2022. Feel like closing my online bank for good. This is a genuine review i might even report this company to try and get a refund for the shocking service.

Fasthosts scam!!!

Called Fasthosts sales team and gave them the specifics that I needed to have Centos 6 installed instead of the newer versions for what I needed to do. The sales guys confirmed that it wasn't a problem. So I agreed for them to host me a server installed Centos 6 on it only for their tech team to later deliver a server installed Centos 7 on it. I queried this and their support said they are only installing versions 7 and above now. I asked for cancellation which they turned around and said their policy does allow them to cancel even though I explained the extenuating circumstance. They keep taking my money. What a scam!!!!

This company Trusthosts is diabolical - my email is down for a week now - They have promised to call back - noone has !!! when i try to speak to seniors i am told they are on lunch and will call me when they are back from lunch - never happens ! I have an account that has grown in charge month by month ! they have lost all my emails and what started as a technical problem from their end has resulted in my emails being lost in the wind !!
STAY AWAY FROM THEM - this company is trouble !!! such bad service and i dont even want to give them a single star

Be warned! Been a customer for 10yrs+

I deeply regret the day I joined this company. They've spent a decade running a series of - what can only be described as - scams and sharp practises. I've lost of lot of money over the years and it's only laziness that's stopped me from transferring all my domains to an honest company. My advice to anyone considering Fasthosts is to stay clear as they are as far from honest and trustworthy as it is possible to be. Their scams include continually inventing spurious PHP and other charges which most people are too busy to notice. You can complain about charges over and over and they will just keep adding them back to your account, after promising to remove them. Then, when you complain again, they'll say they have no record of your previous calls to cancel the charges. It's a sharp operation and unless you engage lawyers you won't get your money back. I've learned the hard way so be warned!

I've been with fasthosts for years and never had to deal with technical support until now and have to say I was shocked at how bad it was given the professional online presence they have. If I continue to have issues I'm off.
