I cannot comprehend why a driver would drive an extra 1.5 miles for a journey as all that does is ensure no tip is given. Unfortunately this seems to be a recurring theme so will not be using again

Booked a taxi via the app from st James to Leeds train station. Waited outside for the taxi and checked the app to see the booking had been cancelled. I phoned up to ask why and the woman ‘Linda’ was rude and defensive and ranting and accused me of cutting her calls off (I had no missed calls). I ended her call because of her being rude and went onto the Uber app. She called me back and I thought she was going to apologise and say we’re sending a taxi now, but instead she continued to rant at me! I calmly explained that I just wanted a taxi and didn’t have time to listen to her and ended the call again. I missed my train home. I emailed the company to provide feedback and ‘Linda’ responded defensively in the email. Thee have been several email exchanges. No apology, just defensive and sarcastic and inappropriate responses. I even explained that I had been visiting my very sick sister in hospital but again, no apology, no empathy.
Terrible communicator. Completely inappropriate responses. I’ll stick with Uber.
Horrible driver
The worst taxi experience I’ve ever had. The driver shouted at me, refused to pick me up, and then claimed I swore at him when I called to complain.
I was waiting at the bus stop and ran across the road to be picked up. When I tried to get in he started shouting at me about how he won't pick me up, because if if the bus arrived I would have cancelled on him and he would lose his fare. I obviously wouldn't do that because I already ordered a taxi. I explained to him the next bus was in 40 minutes and that I was running late for work but he kept shouting.
He's clearly had a bad experience with someone else and took it out on me.
I’m not sure if something happened to the driver that morning to be so angry he was being very unprofessional. I’m not sure what would make a man in his 50s to yell at a girl in her 20s who is crying about having to get to work, who actively wants to give him money.

As a disabled person rely on taxis to get me home, streamline kept me waiting on a cold night at 23:45 despite 3 phone calls to them my taxi never arrived. At 00:00 I had no option but to walk home. This took 20 minutes in very cold conditions. Yet people who called just before I left got picked up at 23:50. If this is how they treat disabled people, it is a disgrace.

I had the worst experience with the driver from Iran by the name Afrah this evening. She was rude and racist to me with my daughter in the car just because I told her to go through sandgate as she wanted to go through a longer route. She told me I had no right to tell her how to drive in a rude tone. And an argument ensued where she mentioned that this is not Africa because I am African. And went ahead to make more racial remarks. She should be investigated as a lot of people are saying she is not customer friendly. She ended up dropping me and my daughter off in the middle of no where and told us to get out of her car. I called the taxi company and the agent said she has the right to not want to continue the service and that another taxi will be sent to me immediately.
Streamline taxi should train their drivers on how to be customer friendly and do screening frequently.

If there was a zero star review I would give it. My driver tonight was just up from London. How he got a South Ayrshire taxi licence so quick beats me. Anyhow he knew nothing about Prestwick or Ayr. He was terrible wanted postcodes or street names to everywhere. Did not know where Prestwick Toll was and was totally lost. Streamline seem to employ anybody, no matter their knowledge or geographical knowledge.

Drove off with the door open without passengers on board. I think the driver might have been drunk!
Dangerous drivers
The driver we had parked and obstructed traffic then tried to drive away with the door open and me only half in the taxi, my children did not have seatbelts on. They then sped the whole way and played with the personal phone they had on their lap. We brought this to the attention of the company, considering they broke the law multiple times and put children in danger. The only reply we received was to block the driver from picking us up again. Very disheartening and concerning they employ drivers like this and seem to put profit over safety
Useless
Useless, avoid. When I phoned up to ask why my taxi had not arrived, I was effecively told it was my fault for not realising that their taxis regularly arrived 15 minutes late. The operator refused to give his name, just reinforcing their lack of accountability. I will be writing to Leeds City Council to suggest they have their licence removed

Don’t believe the google reviews, most are clearly fake. This company is diabolical. Can’t provide a taxi on time despite being ordered 4 hours in advance. Missed train as a result. Lied to on the phone over and over again. Stick to uber, quicker, cheaper and way more reliable. York private taxi firms are a joke, the sooner uber puts them out of business the better

My friend ordered a taxi from my house to get home. He paid the fair (which was already more expensive than normal) up front via invoice. Having waited for 30 mins when originally told 20 minutes, my friend tracked the car on the app and seen it was still in Irvine. When he phoned them, they said he cancelled the car and would need to pay again upfront. He never cancelled the fiest taxi and now Streamline are refusing to refund the first payment. Having phoned today he reiterated he never cancelled the taxi it must be an issue with thier app he was told by staff "stupid drunk people do stupid things". Absolute bunch of unprofessional pirates and neither me or any of my friends or families will be using this firm again. Avoid.
I'm local, I know the journey
I got a taxi early on the Wednesday morning, should have been about £4 but the lady driver kinda zig zagged through the streets on the way into town, adding 70p to the journey. So she forewent her tip.
Another driver charged me £5.90 on the Friday for a similar length of trip because of a lack of communication between him and the office.
Having downloaded the app, I discovered that their email address doesn't even work so I'll be boycotting them in future, clearly they care nothing for customer support.

I have spent a lot of money on them this summer getting them to take me on my fishing trips and always give a tip, I suspect they had taxis but no driver could be bothered picking me up. Very poor service, considering as I said, the size of the company.
