Delays are real but company is genuine and not a scam

I've never written a review before. I just wanted to let people know that the delays are real, but that the company is definitely genuine.

I got into a panic after coming across reviews on this website and I thought I had been scammed. I even went so far as to start the process of trying to get my money back through my bank.

Then I realised that I had the email address of a 'real' person from the company, dating from about 2013. I emailed that address and received a reply from apple sales, within the hour.

If you haven't ordered yet, and are wondering if you should, then be prepared for significant delays. I'm sure this is pandemic related, as the company has always been reliable in the past. I'm also not sure what stock delays are like with other companies, so do your research first before assuming it will be faster from somewhere else.

If you already have ordered. Rest assured that you WILL get your product. I would suggest polite emails to apple sales email.

I'm double posting this review on another site, because I offered to help the company by writing something about my experience.

I hope this information is helpful.

Fraudulent transaction

Purchased an Apple Pencil from these guys and after nearly two months I didn't receive the item or any response to my cancellation requests, although the Apple Pencil showed in stock.
In the end, I had to request a chargeback on my credit card for a fraudulent transaction.
Be very, very careful of these guys - there is no stock available and no correspondence.

Worst Service Ever

Ordered magic keyboard start of June. Same problem as everyone else below. No keyboard and no response to emails. Have now raised a claim with PayPal to see if they might respond to them. Is it too much to ask for a simple email. Why don’t they have a phone number?? Bought apple penciled before virus and they were just as poor.

7 1/2 weeks and no product - 2 more weeks since cancelling and no refund!!

Ordered an Apple Pencil (2nd Gen) on April 2nd. There was no mention that this product was not in stock at the time of ordering. Delay after delay so after waiting 7 1/2 weeks I contacted them cancelling my order and requesting a full refund (payment had been charged upon order). It is now 14 days since the cancellation was made and I have contacted Paypal requesting help getting my refund. Each of their emails claimed that even Apple stores had no stock although when I went to the Apple store they always indicated that the Pencil would ship in about 5 days from order. Thankfully I purchased via PayPal and using a good Credit card company so that I am protected from sellers like this.

Very very disappointing service

I ordered iPad 7th gen from Studio proper in the first week of May. Except a order confirmation email, there was no further communication from their end.
I wrote many emails to them requesting for an update, received only the automated email.
I requested for cancellation multiple times, but no response to that.
This is very very disappointing service. I am looking for a way now to cancel this order and get the refund...

Worst costumer service ever…

Worst costumer service ever experienced!!! Order an apple pencil, charged $200 and now I hardly hear back from them. They say they don't have the product in stock. Then why accept an order? I wrote emails for refund, instead I get auto-generated mails. Now figuring out how to get my money back.

Just done!!!!

If I could have given something less than 1star I certainly would have.

I ordered a wireless phone charger from
this company on 5/13. To date, I have yet to receive a tracking number or a response to my multiple emails.

Pandemic aside, the least any vendor could do at this time is to communicate with your customers on the status of their purchase. I can’t even get that.

I have already filed a complaint with PayPal and I plan to do the same with Afterpay. Somebody needs to hold this company accountable!!!

At this time, I don’t even want the product, but I will continue my pursuit of getting my money back!!!

Ordered on 4/14, no product now 06/2020

I placed an order on 4/14/20 It is now 6/3/20 and still no product. I have sent multiple emails to them in regards to the order status. I received 1 response the first week of May. Stating the product will be fulfilled from the warehouse in Australia. Which is fine, other than the fact that a label was created and thats about as far as the tracking went. Terrible customer support experience. To add to this, their website has no official statement in regards to Covid delays.No response on my refund request. This was for a wireless charger and case.

Still waiting

I bought an apple pencil from Studio Proper on the 19th May it is now the 2nd of June and my tracking number has not been given...even after 3 weeks, nor have my emails been responded to... I'm very upset and have tried to call the phone number allocated to studio proper which has also not be answered. I won't be buying anything from studio proper again. Consumers should 100% buy their apple products especially from an apple store or a reputable store such as JB or Good Guys. It really is such a shame. This business won't succeed if they keep their website maintained like this, no tracking orders, responses to emails...3 emails! I truly hope that they fix the issues they have as they are starting to get a very infamous name for themselves.

I also want to point out that the apple pencil at the time had no 'we've run out' indicators on it nor did the website actually estimate how long the delays were going to be. I've done some research since then and even dating back to 2017 people have had a lot of experiences where they could not reach customer service and the fact that they are responding to trust pilot reviews with an excuse rather than emailing them back asap just straight up is confusing to me.

To put it in perspective, i ordered things from mecca on the 31st of May and they arrived today on the 2nd of June.

Be warned long wait don’t be fooled by cheap prices of Apple products

Don’t be persuaded with cheap prices. I got an iPad off eBay 3 weeks ago and it came three days later from SA, I’m still waiting for my pencil with them. It has been three weeks(Heading to fourth). No tracking number, emailed them and they sent me a generic copied and pasted email. Thought I saved myself $30 on an Apple Pencil now I’m starting to think it’s hardly worth it. I’d be better off paying for it off Apple (full price with free engraving) and getting a tracking number. Funny thing is they tell me stock is low due to corona virus and some Apple products might not be available till end of May, but my item indicates it was shipped on the app “shop” so if it’s shipped where the hell is my tracking? Anyways save yourself the heartache. Luckily my brother lent me his iPad pencil so I could start drawing on my iPad, sucks that I ordered the pencil first and never got it and now I’ve got an iPad that was ordered after the pencil. Anyways thought I was getting a deal instead I’m getting the longest wait of my life. Watch out for this company. They can’t tell you the truth and that’s worrying. Their website looks professional and reliable that’s why I purchased but to be honest I should’ve known better and read the reviews. That’s why I’m writing one now so everyone knows. I could be an unlucky person but looking at all those reviews below. I’m guessing I’m not the only one and this is a common problem with this company. Actually thought about purchasing their other products like cases and stands but as it stands I am not impressed. Update : waiting for my refund to come through which they didn’t fight me on however it’s been 2 weeks since I’ve got my money back. Really thinking of going to the accc or disputing the scam to my bank. This place is terrible guys! Their generic auto emails drive me mad. They don’t care about what people think. It’s the principle of the whole thing. It’s just wrong. You can’t treat customers like this. Updated update: so it’s been 3 weeks called the bank disputed my transaction. Getting my money back. Refunds shouldn’t take more than 3 weeks for a Lack of item or “delay” No communication still, I have emailed and asked about it. Lack of customer service. Use this company if you want to be treated less than a piece of poo.

Excellent, honest and cheapest

I ordered my son iPad 7 from studio proper, and was told they were out of stock, with a a wait time of approx 2 weeks, well with in a week the ipad was delivered, my son was so happy, emails were replied to Me within mins, and so kept updated on stock and delivery. Also the iPad was cheaper then all the big retail stores. Will definitely Oder again from studio proper.

Terrible Company - Avoid

Ordered an item 5 WEEKS ago. No order tracking, no updating, no customer service. I contacted them 3 times by email only to get the same standard email by return, a long wait and then an unhelpful reply full of false promises. I have now asked for a complete refund and advised by bank to investigate. Update: after much hassle I eventually received a refund.

SCAM website

SCAM website. Reported to ACCC. They do not reply to emails or messages. Waiting over a month for them to send an ipad that I have ordered. They have taken funds straight away but no indication it has even been processed. Even worse the automated response you get when you try and email them is that we will take 1 week to respond (I have been waiting 4) and that if you email more then once they will put your request to the bottom of the list.

Need a good kick up the proverbial...

Have ordered several items over the years but latest batch on 28th Jan 2020, still waiting. Helpdesk response is atrociously slow and never pro-active. I would give just 1 star but I'm an eternal optimist that they get their act together and deliver what I've paid for sometime this year.
