We have seen so much progress with our two boys since they started swimming with Alex (instructor at St George's Park) in April. It is clear the boys fully trusted Alex & felt entirely comfortable trying new things in the water. Alex had the perfect mix of professional, personal, firm & fun. Exactly the type of teaching our boys need! In 4 months my 5yo can now swim unaided and my 3yo has made lots of progress. We are sad to no longer be working with Alex as we are relocating our family, but would recommend Alex to anyone! Thank you so much. Grace T

My two little ladies have spent the past two and half months with Jason as their instructor. He is a brilliant teacher and I definitely recommend him. I have had two lessons with him, too and he is obviously very knowledgeable. The only downside to our experience is two ladies at the reception of the club (Crowne Plaza Liverpool), who always act like we are not very welcome. This is our third time using Swim Now during the same at the same venue and the behavior is consistent. It is concerning but I do understand that the management of the place is different from that is Swim Now.

Poppy was very friendly, patient and clearly very experienced. It was a great introductory lesson and I look forward to the subsequent lessons.

I booked with Swim Now in my late 20s after not learning to swim as a kid. Over the last 6 months I've been taking classes consistently with Cassy in the Leicester branch of Swim Now, and genuinely can't believe the difference! She was so patient with me and always encouraging. The 1-2-1 format is so valuable, as she'd be able to see what I can't and offer real time suggestions for my style/ability. Having these lessons with Cassy has given me so much confidence and enjoyment in a sport I thought I'd never attempt again, but im now adding it to my cross training!

I bought a pack of 6 sessions, and booked my first 4 lessons and was instructed that if I need to change I should do directly with my swim intrsuctor. On my first lesson I did exactly that, I needed to cancel one of the lessons the following. week and I did informed my teacher( both face to face, but also in writing). However following week he acted as if the lesson was not cancelled obviously he forgot and blamed me. I have proof in writing. Anyway the office also would not admit their mistake, and they just say that lesson is gone.

Since then I tried multiply times to book my remaining lessons ( 2 lessons left) but they will ignore because they would not admit that I have 2 lessons left. They try to convince and act as if I have only one lesson. They would not investigate or wanted to see my evidence that I did cancelled one lesson with a week notice directly with my swim teacher as I was advised over the phone with a selling agent.

Avoid this company.

Myself and my friend completed a 6 week block of lessons in preparation for our first triathlon. Cara was absolutely brilliant especially when it came to tailoring both of our needs from the lessons, I was so surprised how much I improved in that time and we are both looking forward to our first triathlon in 2 weeks time! I’m sure we will be back for more lessons to refine and build on what we learnt. The only downfall is the booking system which is flawed and would be the only thing to put us off booking again. Cara is absolutely brilliant!

I have been having swimming lessons with David at Radisson Manchester Airport. He is a brilliant swimming instructor . He has helped me overcome my fear of water and has got me swimming independently within 6 weeks! He is kind and patient and teaches in a way that makes sense. He has helped me gain confidence and actually enjoy swimming. I would highly recommend lessons with him.

isabella at Cheltenham swim now is fantastic both my children had lessons with her oldest is adhd an izzy was so patient with her an kept her engaged during the lessons an youngest had no confidence wouldn't even enter pool at first by end of first lesson she was in the water could thank her enough for the effort she put in with both children who are very different who are now very confident in the water an love swimming

Swim Now advertise as being able to accommodate SEN learners, but when your child can’t advocate for themselves they’ll just keep taking your money until they’ve lost all self-esteem and confidence. In our experience we had no feedback after each session, making it transactional and hard to track progress. In the end we have forgone 7 sessions we’ve paid for due to the our child not being engaged and motivated in ways we’d expect of a SEN provider. False advertising and money driven. Do NOT recommend - we shall look for a self employed instructor that operates with higher ethics and values.

Upon my recent retirement I decided to improve my swimming techniques and add chest crawl to my repertoire. I found Swim Now on the internet and struck gold with my teacher Sabrina. She is incredibly experienced both in swimming techniques and in teaching them. She is very good at giving immediate feedback and encouragement, praising where due and suggesting modifications where needed. Her experience allows her to anticipate and recognise early mistakes her students make before they become common place. I feel totally comfortable with Sabrina, love her sense of humour and admire her unwavering enthusiasm, patience and support for her students to achieve their goals. 2 months in and I have made steady progress and am looking forward to the rest of the course. Really enjoying my lessons - just what the doctor prescribed!

Swim teacher Ian made my child feel at ease. He would have a chat with her as the lesson began and allow a few minutes of play time at the end of the session if she had worked well during the 30 mins. He would offer praise when appropriate. She was stage 3 when starting lessons and within 6 months working on stage 8. She received numerous certificates for achievements during the time which encouraged her. I would definitely recommend.

David is a fantastic swim teacher—patient, encouraging, and professional. He has made every lesson enjoyable and helped me build my confidence in water. I highly recommend him to anyone wanting to learn how to swim!

I am having to involve trading standards for breach of contract and refusal to refund money which is due to me, customer service is appalling, absolutely avoid

I signed up because I wanted one to one coaching as I was terrified of getting my face in the water and fears about drowning. My teacher Akshay ( Wembley) has been fantastic. After 6 weeks I am able to swim under water and have learned breast stroke! He is patient and very understanding but equally gives me confidence and motivation to keep going. You can tell how passionate he is about helping me overcome my fears. I never thought it would be possible for me to get into a pool let alone swim. I am elated with my progress and cannot wait to see how far I can progress. It’s one of the best decisions I have taken.

I learned to swim in Cheltenham with Swim Now teacher Isabella. I am 71 years old and had almost given up hope of learning to swim. With Isabella’s thoughtful, patient and skilled guidance I am now, after 13 lessons, a confident swimmer. I enjoyed every single one of the lessons and cannot recommend Isabella highly enough. I have lessons with David and cannot thank him enough! Always shows me which part I need to improve with patience, and motivates me whenever I gave up, thanks a lot!

My daughter has been having lessons for about 8 months with Swim Now. We had a few issues with lessons being cancelled and not being notified. Then trying to reschedule them became a whole other issue. I have recently tried to cancel the lessons altogether. I have provided the requested one months written notice and asked when our last lesson will be, when the last payment will be, and for a refund for 2 lessons we are owed (due to them rescheduling and then cancelling). The customer service is terrible. I have not had a response and doubt I'll get my refund. They are an absolute nightmare to deal with.

I had a really good taster swimming lesson with swim now. Anya was very patient, friendly and explained everything clearly, which made me feel comfortable throughout the session. It was a positive experience, and I’d definitely recommend Swim Now to anyone looking to start swimming lessons.
