Absolutely and utterly awesome service!!

Lost my nosepiece (tifosi) on the steppes of Mongolia -and ordered 2 new ones.

The first delivery was smashed by a postal truck, I took pictures and sent them to Swinnerton -and they immediately sent new perfect ones !!! NO QUESTIONS ASKED !!!

(My danish bike shop told me it was not possible to get spare, my (new) sunglasses was outdated).

These guys could not have been more efficient - not only gave the best price on the internet for some expensive components but also fitted them, solved an unexpected problem and charged me very reasonable rates. And a free tour of the shop and its exhibits thrown in! Top people, well done Jed and thanks again.

I ordered some wheels that were out of stock, paying in advance. After a few days I changed my mind and bought some different wheels elsewhere. I have tried several times to cancel my order and obtain a refund. I have had no response to my e-mail, and so far, no refund. Rubbish customer service!

After paying for a bike that I was told was in the warehouse I then received a email a week later saying it would be despatched a week later due to having to get it from the supplier... So they never had the bike in the first place. A refund was arranged and not anything to try and get me to still have the bike. Very dodgy and I'm glad I cancelled the order.

Ordered a folding e-bike which arrived very promptly.
Upon arriving home, saddle height was too low due to what I see as a manufacturer specification error for expected rider height as it was way too low despite being me being 5 inches shorter than the max specified.

Fair play, upon informing Swinnertons, they picked the bike up same day and sourced another seat post theirselves and delivered back.

Much appreciated, thank you, highly recommended.

don't use i ordered replacement rims was given a delivery time but still waiting have e-mailed twice no reply why say you have the stock when it seams you don't pity now having to chase a refund

The springs in my TT bike brakes are failing and Swinnerton Cycles had the replacement parts, assuming they fit that is :-) The turn around was good, they were ordered on bank holiday Monday, dispatched on Tuesday and I got them Wednesday lunchtime.

Could not recommend Swinnerton Cycles enough. Needed a bike asap for my son’s birthday and they went above and beyond to make it possible & get the bike he wanted! Customer service and communication was first class. They were so knowledgeable and helpful and done a thorough handover on collection. As a mum of 4 i will definitely be back to kit out the rest of the family! Thank you guys so much, i appreciate all your help! Your amazing!!!!

Efficient and knowledgeable regarding fitting a new battery to a Ribble Al-e.

Had an issue with a saddle and Will sorted out the warranty replacement for me with the supplier - not sure all shops would have been so helpful and hassle free.

Time wasters!

As with other reviews, this company advertises items for sale that they do not have.

Phoned them a week later to enquire about dispatch just to be told that the item is not available… I now have to wait for a refund to be issued before placing an order elsewhere.

Recently used Swinnertin cycles for some Warranty work .The bike wasn't bought from then bur they dealt with Shimano directly and sorted the problem without issue.
Very impressed by their updates and the work was carried out professionally.

Ordering, communication and delivery was first class and what they said they would do they did!

Items for sale on the website that aren’t in stock, with no indication before or after purchase.

Reached out a week later to query why no dispatch and was advised that I had placed a ‘pre-order’ (News to me!) and the item would be shipped as of 19/12/23 (Almost 2 months from the date of initial order).

19/12/23 came and went with no further communication. I reached out again to be told that the date had moved to 18/12/23 (No explanation as to why I wasn’t informed).

As they say, fool me once.. so order cancelled and refund requested.

Acccording to Swinnerton, they’re not at fault and the supplier is. This completely lacking in any explanation as to why they’re offering items for sale that they don’t have.

Very upbeat in cancelling my order and wishing me a Happy New Year after holding on to my money for over 2 months and failing to deliver.

Won’t be using again and would advise anybody thinking of doing so to think again.

We purchased our daughter a bike for Christmas in November online, waited a week and still wasn't dispatched phoned them and got told don't worry it will be there for Christmas. Another week goes by and we e-mail them asking why it hadn't been dispatched yet only to get a phone call a week before Christmas telling us they haven't got it and have cancelled the order. DO NOT buy from these people, if i could give them zero stars i would.

I ordered a tyre from their website 22nd August 2023 that was showing as IN STOCK. They duly took the money out of my bank account and failed to deliver the tyre until 2nd October 2023. That's 42 days!

I decided to ring Swinnerton Cycles directly after not hearing from them for over 2 weeks after the web order was completed, and money taken, but no item and no response to any of my emails.

Their shop number is 01782 747782. If you have an issue with them call them rather than email. This is the best way. The chap was very helpful and apologised that no one had responded. Item is on backorder hence why it hasn't been sent but this was not communicated to me via email or online.

I paid Via a Google Pay online on their website. Payment has been taken which I can see on Google Pay. I sent 3 follow up emails since purchase - first one sent on the day of purchase, then 4 days later as I still hadn't heard anything from them, and then today which was 10 days after purchase. Still heard nothing from them. Received nothing. And they have my money. Very poor communications.

I also had same problem that I ordered and never heard back from them, even though payment was taken, goods were never dispatched. I wonder if they have closed?

No goods, no meaningful correspondence but payment taken. Mails ignored - simply nothing to assist to resolve this issue. First and last ever dealing with this company. Reported to Mastercard to resolve this issue. Took payment, no goods ever received by me. Simply a very unprofessional, ineffective and inefficient service. My personal experience is to advise anyone else to be wary.
